They are swindlers! The guy behind the counter(I got the feeling he was the owner/manager) was barking to everyone who walked by and gave out samples. He told me I was getting a «special» for $ 5.75, so I thought I’d give it a try. I paid for my food, sat down and saw a flyer on the table advertising the same dish from the same establishment for $ 4.99. Curious, I went back and questioned the man who sold me the $ 5.75 version. He said I needed a VIP card for the discount, of which he reached under the counter and pulled out a handful. Hmm, nowhere on the flyer did it say anything about a VIP card, but it did say that the special was good«ALLDAY» through the end of June, and it was still June. He didn’t even try to make good on their misleading advertising. Don’t go here. They are dishonest, and besides the food was lousy. I’ve been to better greasy spoons than this!

This is one of the new food places at the Peachtree Center«Mall», and all I can say is… bleh. Nothing else particularly appealed, and I thought I’d give it a shot.(The sacrifices I make for Unilocal…) I was(foolishly) optimistic that they’d have a variety of wings, and/or with«Malibu» in the name, they’d have something like California cuisine, and by that I mean anything that isn’t fried and/or drowning in a sugary sauce. I was wrong. The signs I saw indicated that they had a variety of chicken wings, but by the time I go there(3pm), they only had fried chicken wings, and some other varieties of cut up chicken in whatever sauce. Maybe there were more wings earlier in the day. Maybe not. The chicken in sauce consisted of bourbon chicken, orange chicken, some kind of fried chicken in what was supposed to be a spicy sauce, some kind of chicken in mushy vegetables… The options for sides were kinda limited, but at least spring rolls were an option, and the rice was a side, and not a mandatory thing. Only one of the sides resembled a vegetable, but it was pretty mushy looking, so I stuck with the spring roll and rice. The spring roll had a nice texture for a mall food court spring roll, but was a notch bland. The fried rice was very bland. Some soy sauce might have saved it, but I only had a packet of duck sauce. The prices were great, though. $ 5.75 for two chickens and two sides, and about the same for five wings and two sides. And the girl working the counter was really really nice. I might give them one more shot.(Ok, probably not, even if the other options in the food court there are pretty dismal.)
