Very pleasant staff. The ice cream is really good as usual — different flavors with a variety of toppings and mix-ins. I have absolutely no complaints and my kids love the ice cream.

Marble slabs icecream is tottaly amazing. The icecream is so creamy and refreshing and I Defintley recommend marble slabs. The only thing was the employee serving me was a little inexperienced and awkward, but other wise it was so yummy and amazing!

Great ice cream and plenty of toppings to choose from. We had chocolate, coffee and mango, and they all tasted delicious.

This is a small ice cream take out place, which is similar to Cold Stone. There are a few different flavors with toppings to choose from. After picking the flavor you like, you are given the option to either have the ice cream mixed with the toppings or just served as is. A friend chose the mixed as I had it served as is. It was interesting tasting the mixed flavored one as the flavors were blended together. I’d come back to get the blended flavors on my next visit.

Marble Slab is the best ice cream place in town… Nothing better… I grew up on Marble Slab and I feel like I’m cheating on my wife when I eat ice cream from any other place. They are the best… Staff is very nice, location is good, nothing wrong with this place…

My first time coming to marble slab the day of Monday Jan 12 @4 during my lunch break. Lady rude as can be taping her fingers impatiently. Asked if I could get toppings and completely ignored me. Love the ice cream, But the visit was very unpleasant.

As good as it gets for local ice cream shop– the fruit is fresh and they don’t add syrup. A lot of topping choices. They change the flavors seasonally. They don’t use nasty artificial sweeteners like Coldstone– yuck. We special order a small ice cream cake every year for my husband’s birthday and he is obsessed. We get sweet cream ice cream with chocolate cake and fresh strawberries and walnuts. They do ice cream cupcakes now and you can call ahead to make them. Yum!

Marble Slab Creamery, or «the slab» as I affectionately refer to it, is my go-to dessert joint in the Town Brookhaven plaza. The primary selling point for me is the fact that they serve white chocolate ice cream, which you can’t really find elsewhere in Atlanta. I will admit that the flavors here can taste mildly chemically derived at times, but it’s nothing that can’t be masked with a few peanut butter cups and a chocolate dipped waffle cone. I’ve even gone so far as to smuggle one of these cones of gluttony into the nearby CInebistro, which may or may not have been influenced by the aforementioned chemicals. Either way, I’m not complaining. Food: Marble Slab Creamery is a national chain specializing in ice cream and a variety of other desserts, including shakes and cakes. Patrons can select from approximately a dozen different ice cream flavors, which can be mixed with their choice of numerous different toppings on a frozen granite slab. Available mix-ins include everything from marshmallows and peanut butter to brand name candies and nuts. The ice cream is available in a variety of different sizes in both dish and cone forms. Service: All orders are placed at the front counter and the person who prepares your order typically cashes you out as well. I’ve never really had a problem with the professionalism or the friendliness of the staff here, but the wait can get excruciatingly long at times, particularly on the weekends. Atmosphere: The interior of this place is quite cramped, to the point where I’ve actually opted to eat outside in the middle of winter. There are a few seats available, but if there’s anymore than 5 people in this place it can get awkward as you try to determine creative ways to maneuver around one another. Cost: Moderately priced. For the most part, I typically end up with two scoops of ice cream and a single mix-in for approximately $ 5. Of course, additional mix-in’s can quickly add up, so it’s not difficult to walk out of here with a $ 10 dessert either. Other: The Slab is located in the Town Brookhaven plaza, next to Baci restaurant and across the street from Cinebistro and Which Wich. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday, 12PM-10PM, and Friday-Saturday, 12PM-11PM. Free parking is available in the plaza’s garage, as well as in the surface lot outside the shop — however, the latter option can be problematic to secure during peak hours, so your quickest bet is to park in the large lot near the Marshall’s and take the quick walk in.

Finding parking for this place on a Saturday night was an absolute nightmare. It would be really nice if they had some parking spaces for just Marble Slab costumers. Once we got there, we ordered a small cone and a small waffle cup. Personally I felt all the ice cream looked artificially colored and not good at all! I’ve had ice cream from the grocery store that is better than this stuff! And to top it all off, the price for what we got was over $ 10. At this rate, I’d rather just buy a gallon of ice cream from the grocery store and bring it back.

Marble Slab is my favorite ice cream. However they are getting a 4 star since they didn’t have my favorite flavor. Marble slab happens to be the only ice cream shop I have ever found it at. LEMON ice cream. Don’t knock it til you try it. Creamy, sweet, lemon. But I can still always find a flavor that suits me.
