Marlow’s Tavern

This was such a nice dining experience! It was my first time and I loved every second of it. Our waitress, Nia, was as sweet as ever! She was prompt and yet didn’t linger which is the perfect server. The manager surprised us with their homemade chips with gourmet cheese, tomatoes, bacon and green onions on them. And it was just because it was my first time! I got the melt and my friend got the prime rib dip. Both were delicious! Perfect service. I just had such a great time. I will be back!

Just a warning they have a score of 76 on their last inspection. We didn’t notice it until we left. The food was good like their other locations but service was not good. We got our food before the drinks arrived. The server recommended the bloody mary bar without telling us it was $ 2 more per drink. If you need a water refill you would be better off going to the bar as it will be faster. Not every part of their service was slow as we did get our bill before we finished eating.

Arrived on a Saturday night, very crowded… short staffed… the seating host had a GREAT attitude — seated people, waited on tables, served food then seated more people — turns out he was the manager. He did a great job.
Ciara was our server — and she also had an amazing attitude while serving more tables than one person should have to. She was funny, helpful and quick — in fact we complimented the manager on our way out —
Food was very nice, we had a great time.

Marlow’s is great! To me, there burgers are arguably the best in town. They are juicy and full of flavor and they also have excellent fries, love the seasoning! Also, I don’t think we’ve ever had bad service there. If I’m wanting to eat lighter, they have a great tavern salad with a house made vinaigrette that never disappoints! Yum!

The food is really good and its a great place to ear dinner. The desserts are amazing

Amazing food! Everything I touched turned to gold! Since it was our first time, we received a free kettle chip dish w bacon and Gorgonzola cheese. Would’ve never thought I’d like it. Was delicious. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap! Was fantastic. Also tried the shrimp and lobster chowder — a cream based soup. Wow! I will order that again. Perfect on a cold night. Great, friendly staff. Utterly impressed.

I’ve been to several Marlow’s in town and this one is no different. Really good food, good service and good drinks. The wine pours are a little small though.
On this particular visit I got my favorite whitefish appetizer. The salty fish is so good and makes you want to drink a lot more. Smart! I also had the tavern salad. It comes with pine nuts and butternut squash. So good! I really good have eaten just a larger portion of that and been happy.
My dad got a burger and I tasted it. Wonderfully seasoned and a good size.
I will be back to this location for sure.

We had such a great experience here. After a long day, we came here because it was open late and were surprised by the amazing food. The manager gave us a complementary appetizer of house made chips and this AMAZING Gorgonzola dressing on it. My bf doesn’t even like blue cheese and he was practically licking the plate. staff was extremely professional and we enjoyed everything we ate. Will definitely be back.

Hasn’t let me down yet. Enjoyed the service, trout dip, burgers, salad, gorganzola potato chips.

My first time there had a burger it was. Great margaritas also price is very reasonable for the food and beverage choice. Also has a outside area which would be great use in the summer. Staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Manager even came by the table to ensure our food was prepared well and that we didn’t need anything will definitely visit here again.

First visit to Marlow’s Tavern at the Prado and I’ll say that it won’t be my last.
The food was very good and the staff was very friendly AND professional! All vegetables tasted very fresh — they even have their own pickling for their pickles. I had the French onion dip on Cuban rolls with the appetizer of wings (more like a meal!). The manager was very kind and offered their kettle chips with Gorgonzola which was awesome as well.
At the end of the meal, we were also offered the option of having our drinks to go! A great place to enjoy great good and watch the games of the season.

We go here all of the time for drinks after work. The appetizers are delicious. Try the tuna tataki if you’re a raw tuna or sushi fan. The staff is awesome and they have a great selection of several beers. They have heaters outside on the patio if you want to be outdoors in the chilly fall weather.

We arrived just before the Sunday night crowd and was promptly seated! Great timing on our part. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The chicken wrap was delicious! Perfectly cooked and NOT soggy. Sometimes restaurants put on way too much sauce. This wrap was sauced perfectly. I ordered an Ameretto Sour and it was STRONG. I’m a lightweight so I’m not a fan of strong drinks but I’m sure this would have been perfect for folks that like a little kick :-). Our server was very attentive and our food arrived quickly. No complaints from me :-)

Okay so about a year ago I came in one slow Sunday afternoon with my mom and after sitting for 15 minutes no one came up to us. We were in a time crunch, so we left without saying anything. Flash forward to today, and you’ll witness me say that Marlow’s Tavern is my new favorite restaurant. From appetizer, to main course, and finally dessert, I am more than pleased. I couldn’t even wait to get home to rave about it (I’m still sitting in a booth writing this review). Everything was cooked to perfection, and delivered in a timely manner by the great staff like Gracie, my server. I can’t wait to come back and try all of the other great options they have. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ and 5 stars for sure.

Was looking for a place to have dinner and literally found this place and boy are we thankful we did!
The food was AH-​MAZING and the service was too!
We were greeted quickly and then seated immediately.
Our server Jasmine was very nice and knowledgable about the menu.
We ordered the turkey burger and the bbq blazed cobb salad.
While waiting on our food the manager, Collin I believe, came over to our table with an appetizer to welcome us as first time diners.
It was a very nice surprise! I’ve only had that happen a few other times and we dine out often and travel pretty frequently so that was a nice gesture.
Needless to say we’ve found a new place to frequent!
Their prices are beyond reasonable and their menu is pretty extensive!

Marlow’s is my «neighborhood» favorite while being in the Plaza. I go there often for hummus and also great burgers. Today, I redeemed my Unilocal discount for a Black & Blue Burger. It was so yummy and cooked medium well. The price was $ 11.50 for the burger with $ 11 off. You do the math and that’s pretty much FREE. For that deal alone, I’ll keep returning and checking in.
Sometimes I will say that they need to pay attention to detail. I’m one of those people who will request all carrots and no celery, get to my car and it’s full of what I JUST said not to add. –1 Star

I love that Marlow’s offers healthy choices that actually taste good. They’re my go to pick for healthy, casual dining. I love the salmon here, but the coucous is a little filling. Another favorite of mine is the grilled chicken stack. It’s lighter entrée and that still has a bold flavor. Their crab cake is pretty good too; less breading than most places at this price.

First time at Marlow’s and I was not let down. Food was okay as was the service. For the entire restaurant to be full on a Friday night, the service didn’t lack nor did we experience any food delays. It was honestly average.
I have no complaints other than wishing the food was a little more savory. Ordered salmon at medium temp and it came out well along with my Black and Blue burger. The fries that come with the burger were great. They should allow the person who cooked the fries to make the entrees and I’ll give them another chance.
If you are a FIRST TIME VISITOR you will receive a FREE APPETIZER. JT’s kettle chip appetizer with Gorgonzola cheese, tomato, bacon and scallion. It’s pretty good. Fresh ingredients compliment the sweet saltiness of the bacon and the cheese is divine.
Libation here is awesome. Plenty of whites and red to choose from and for the beer indulgers; they have an extensive selection at low prices. $ 8 for top shelf cocktails puts a smile on my face.
Parking is FREE but tight, if you decide you want to park up front. If you go around back in the parking deck, you can park fairly close and walk in from the side entrance.
I feel this is a great happy hour location, there did happen to be a prom party during our visit. Yet I would not recommend this location for a formal evening.
I give Marlows three stars for average food and average service. I have nothing bad to say but it could have been better. The management and staff make a strong effort in pleasing guest. I will give them another chance, maybe during happy hour.
