This space could be great. It’s on the dated side and could use a deep clean and an overhaul. The beer was great as was the pretzel, the server seemed less than confident, and the food was better on the second attempt. We’ll try again

Seriously by FAR the WORST lunch that I had happened at 5 Seasons Brewing! Let me start off by saying why was there only 2 waitress during lunch? It took the server way too long to place my order. However, the food came out faster than it took her to come to my table and take my order. Next the food was below fast food chains, my chicken was bland and it tasted old! The mash potatoes were lukewarm and had a funny taste to it and the braised kale had a foul taste to them as well. As fast as my food got to me it made me wonder if it was sitting out ready for someone to order it. Over all I let my waitress know the food was not good AT all. They did comp my bill and needless to say I should have read the recent Unilocal reviews before making a wasted trip. I will not be back unless the food and service improves!

Wish I had more to say about this place. I walked in with my fiancé at 3:30pm. The sign said for service to sit in the bar area, which we did, at an incredibly wobbly table for 15 minutes without a greet. The bartender had three patrons at the bar and two others at another high top next to us. I noticed a couple servers walking around and then mentioned to the two we passed at the host stand, that we had been sitting in their establishment for 15 – 20 minutes and we were going elsewhere. We walked across the parking lot to Marlows, where we were greeted at the door, taken to a table, where we were immediately greeted by a server, a beverage order was taken, water was delivered… We’re happy. Thank you Marlows.

Excellent beer and great food! I’ve been here for lunch and dinner and their menu has so many good items I never get the same thing twice the restaurant is large but never too noisy or crowded. One of my favorite places.

Worst food Ive had in a long time, below cafeteria level. My sons chicken tenders were fine, he enjoyed them but the appetizer and main dishes were way under seasoned, canned sauces and stale tasting. Hopefully it was an off night for the place yet we will not be returning.

I had the fish and chips, they were okay. The fish and chips at the alpharetta location were nice and crispy. These were gross and soggy, maybe they sat out too long before the server brought them over? I have no idea, but I do know that was enough for me to say I’m probably not going to be visiting this location again. I’ll give the alpharetta location another try. Plus, parking is a nightmare.

After my initial review, I was contacted by the owner/chef-David. We had good conversation, and he graciously offered a gift card mailed to my home. After a few days, it had arrived. My girlfriend expressed a bit of skepticism, but we ended up going on a Wednesday mid-afternoon. Thought, was: most likely not busy, and we could get them at their best. Arrived, and was correct, not busy at all– a few tables occupied. We ordered a couple of the house beers, but was informed that one of the selected on the list was no longer available-ok, went with 2nd choice. Beer was awesome-nuff said! GF ordered a burger, I went with the rabbit enchiladas… wow! Also went with the Calamari for an appetizer. It was pretty good, but the dipping sauce-I think it was lemongrass sweet chili was over the top. I coulda done a shot glass of that stuff! Everything came out in a orderly, timely fashion. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented very well. Our server-Phil-was great. Still can’t get over how great that rabbit enchilada was! A friend was coming in from outside the States, but was arriving late, so I decided to order the antelope patty melt to go. Well, but the time he made it to our house, that melt was split in half. Yep, another winner. Based on the food and service(+the beer), we’ll definitely return to 5SB in the future!

My friend and I stopped by here early on a Saturday and it was dead. Our server was super friendly and told us all about the beers and food. He was very informational and we loved learning about the beer we were drinking. The food wasn’t stellar however. The shrimp & grits plate is actually a fried grit cake. They were lacking in flavor for two southerners who love grits. The sauce wasn’t really packed with much flavor either. I did like the atmosphere, the customers at the bar were friendly and we chatted with them a bit then went across the street to get our nails done. It’s a cute little area with a couple other restaurants if you’re not in the mood for american food.

I don’t care much for the food but the beer is good. 15 year Anniversary so the drafts were $ 3. This location isn’t my favorite. A little dumpy and dirty. Service good.

This place has slid so far downhill over the years. Yes. The beer is still good. The food less so.(is Dennis ever coming back???) My main beef is the service however. If you come in an hour before closing, then they are ready for you to get out before you even sit down. Sometimes they close off everything in the main dining room and expect you to go over to the smoky pool hall next-door to have your beers. Why? Why can’t they just let you have your beers in the main dining room?

The staff is always friendly and the beer /food never disappoint. I like to order my meal from their specials menu which changes daily and the ingredients change with whats in season and I have yet to be disappointed by anything that is on this menu. Some of the food on the specials menu leaves you scratching your chin, but the flavors are always spot on. The beer cheese soup is some of the best I have ever had. If its your first time, I highly suggest getting the Seven Sisters Muncher or the Hopgasm IPA, they pair with the food wonderfully.

Well we like to find different types of restaurants/breweries when we go out of town. This place looked promising. Let me start by saying I will not write this place off but will try it one more time. Their beer is really nice. Just had some sample sizes to get a taste of what is brewing and it is good. The food left something to be desired and the same goes for the service. They did have an event going on that really slow things down. The wings were buffalo honey but were more a curry honey which was a nice surprise. The cheese plate was just ok but the strawberry compote was awesome on there. The lamb tacos. skip those, not bad but not good. Just ok. I noticed their menu is very large and many different flavors. I would say pick a path of food and make it great. Go for a tasting of their brew and skip the food unless you want wings. Tasted the IPA, the English Ale and the Coffee all very good.

We just had a Christmas party with 20+ people. The food was excellent. There was bread, salad and shrimp and grits. If you like a light beer with a lot of flavor, try Ale to the Queen. If you want to plan a party, ask for Big Ken. Not only is he a great bar tender and manager: he’s a great host. The brussels sprouts were awesome.

The food was just okay. I got a black bean burger and sweet potato fries. The service however was very disappointing. Our server was very slow and careless. We constantly had to find him to ask him to bring us items. He didn’t refill waters until prompted, forgot to bring multiple items that we asked for(straws, ranch, etc.). Overall I am not impressed and would not recommend this restaurant because of such poor service.

I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. if you like beer maybe, but it’s definitely not a place you go for food. I ordered the salmon for lunch and the first bite I took was a piece of plastic. and this wasn’t the only piece I found in the fish. either this fish isn’t a «fresh locally caught fish» or whoever was supposed to clean and slice the fish doesn’t know what they’re doing. the vegetables were gross. a friend I was with said her sandwich was soggy. definitely a deal breaker when you bite into plastic in your fish. won’t return.

I tried to eat at the Sandy Springs location tonight. Service was okay. Food was horrible. ordered a burger(medium well with sweet potato fries). Burger was RAW in the middle, fries were burned. After I advised my server, that the burger was RAW in the middle. «He asked me several times if he. would recommend it? I just asked for my check.

We had the Cellar Room to ourselves for a work dinner. Everyone who worked there was really friendly. There was a small bar in there with someone serving drinks and pool tables and dart boards for entertainment. After hanging out, talking, and playing some pool, we finally sat down to eat. I got one of the specials for the day, Surf and Turf and a Warm Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream. The Surf and Turf was probably only 3 stars in my opinion. It comes with 5 slices(4 oz) of eye of rib filet, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, blackened shrimp, sautéed sea beans, and chimichurri sauce. The steak was good with the chimichurri sauce, mashed potatoes were a bit heavy, the sea beans were like those super tiny strings of asparagus but felt like they were drenched in salt, while on the other hand the shrimp lacked flavor. Also, the portion was small enough for me to finish so you know it’s too small of a portion when tiny me can finish it… My poor male coworkers were probably not as satisfied with the portion. However, the chocolate cake redeemed the meal and was amazing! Basically like a lava cake, it was warm, rich, and just chocolatey goodness mixed with cold ice cream. Yum. The dessert and friendly service pushed it up to 4 stars. Thanks for hosting us!

1.5÷5 You may/likely not remember my review of the 5 Seasons in Midtown. I was invited this time by a friend so I thought to give the chain a second chance. The fried alligator was in rubbery batter akin to that of thawed frozen food. The beer braised oysters… tasted overdone in a how old is this/I-hope-I-don’t-die way. The sauce was oddly sweet and the cheese bread was awkwardly stale. I’m not looking for a Michelin star dish(though this place has the potential atmosphere that should inspire to make one), but some sort of flavor that my mind can equate with fresh ingredients than microwave chef would be appreciated.

Yikes. Been here before and had good food and drinks. Not sure what happened, but unfortunately 5 seasons just lost a customer. First, important to note our server was great and we felt terrible for her. The beer glasses were dirty(stained with lipstick). Ok, it happens. Then, our silverware had pieces of food stuck to it. Ok. Maybe the dishwasher was having an off day. Then, my burger was undercooked to the point it actually tasted like raw meat. Not good, five seasons. Time to step up your game if you want to survive in Prado. UPDATE. Owner reached out immediately. Good sign. Hopefully this was an isolated incident. Upping to three stars

I had my birthday dinner here and they tended to us so well! My mom even bought appetizers for us ahead of time over the phone and they completed the request flawlessly. All of the appetizers were so delicious, as well as the mixed drinks and their personal brews. I got a bacon pimento cheese burger and it was so good that I went back the next weekend. Yum! They also refrigerated my cupcakes for me. A little pricey but the flavor is worth it, in my opinion. And the patio is lovely. Nutshell: wonderful, nice, accommodating staff. Delicious food. Well crafted alcoholic beverages. They also fulfilled my pregnant friend’s request for a virgin margarita.

We came here just wanting to grab a beer. I wanted to try the pretzel, that was a bad idea. I’m pretty sure the pretzel was old, it was hard. The sauce couldn’t even save it, we didn’t finish it. We got a flight of all their beers, nothing really stood out to us. The beers weren’t bad but, I think I expected more. One of the tasters cups were dirty with lips stains, pretty disgusting. Thanks for the beer, we won’t be coming back though.

Just had a wonderful Beef Bourguignon Soup, amazing Fried Okra(both off the brunch menu today) and Cornmeal Dusted Alligator for lunch/early dinner that I shared with my husband. The food was delicious! Ohhh, and I can’t forget the tasty beers here! We both tried the Seven Sisters Münchner, Ale to the Queen, Munich Helles, and Hopgasm IPA. All were tasty and good! Will be back for sure!

Had a great lunch here today complete with a gluten free pizza crust that while very different, was delicious. Made from blue corn, it was thin and crispy tasting similar to blue corn tortilla chips… yummie. The club salad was literally covered with various tasty meats and included plump tomatoes and vinegar marinated cucumbers that I found myself digging anxiously for. There are many gluten free options from appetizers to the dessert menu, ½ price wine on Monday and ½ price appetizers during Happy Hour from 4 – 6 during the week. Only negative was there is not a single gluten free beer or cider on the premises… for an establishment that has perfected the food without gluten, buy a case of cider or beer to go perfectly with the pizza for those of us who can’t drink your, most certainly awesome, options.

Dined here for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. I knew I should have taken the hint of the low number of diners on a Saturday night that my first experience at 5 Seasons Brewing was going to be mediocre. There is a lot of parking available in the Prado shopping center. There’s free WIFI at 5 Seasons Brewing. There’s a spacious outdoor and covered seating patio. Food: — Crispy Calamari & Red Onions || ordered this appetizer with the 50% off appetizer check-in deal(Thanks Unilocal!). Even though the discount was great, the appetizer wasn’t. The ratio of the body-to-tentacle were off — more tentacles than body. Also, the sauce, lemongrass chili dipping sauce, that accompanied the appetizer was not a great combination with the calamari. There was also fried red onion strings mixed in with the calamari. — Spaetzle || I ordered this as an extra side item. Best item of the night as everyone agreed as well when they tried it. It’s like Mac & Cheese, but also cooked with onions. It was cheesy as well. It also only costs $ 5 and well worth the portion size as well. It didn’t look like a side, but instead, a small entrée. — Cheddar Stone Ground Grit Cakes || My friend ordered this and I was able to try the grit cakes. For $ 5, you get three pieces placed on top of some lettuce. The grit cakes look like fried tofu. There was nothing special about these grit cakes — I don’t think it’s worth your money. — GA Organic Grass Fed Hanger Steak || You could never go wrong with steak, especially if it is cooked medium rare to medium. My boyfriend ordered the 10 oz. portion for $ 34, The sides, fingerling potatoes and sauteed kale, accompanied the steak well. I would say it’s the best entrée of the night. Yum, steak! — Sweet Tea Brined Southern Fried Organic Chicken || You literally get an entire(small) chicken without the head of course. The stars of the dish are really the sides, mashed potatoes with ham gravy and sauteed kale. I only ate barely ¼ of the chicken as it was nothing special. I was highly disappointed in the chicken. Service: Service was okay. We had two servers for our table of fifteen. The chef did come visit our table twice. The funny thing was — the entire table got their orders at the same time, while the Birthday Girl got her meal like 15 minutes later. She was highly upset and when it did come, she did not enjoy her meal. She didn’t even finish it. The servers and chef did try to mediate the problem by providing her with a salad(which she doesn’t eat), and by offering her a dessert of her choice(which we didn’t order). In the end, the restaurant paid for one of her drink orders. I was glad that the restaurant did try to mediate the situation which I do applause them for. Overall, I would not dine at 5 Seasons Brewing again. Like my rating, I have experienced way better in food. The service was not the issue, just the food. It could have been better.

5 Season’s Brewing is located at 5600 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs GA30342 at the Prado(this is right off I285 at Roswell Rd, inside the perimeter). This is an active brewery with a good handful of lagers, Belgian ales and seasonal brews, along with above-average food. I don’t remember much about Phoenix back when it was in business — I ate there twice from what I recall, both times meeting people for lunch and apparently it wasn’t very memorable. 5 Season’s basically took things to the next level and included a much better menu. I’ve since eaten there about a dozen times, most often for various Technology Association of Georgia events(they have a great private room that they section off — it has it’s own bar and a pool table) and other technology group meet-ups. The location is fantastic, even with the horrendous Roswell Rd traffic(mostly since it’s only 2 blocks from I285). The service here is very good and while I’ve had much better beer, they have some selections that are more than palatable — my favorite is their hoppy IPA — «Hopgasm» which even the most discriminating beer snob will find above average. Of course with all things, since Dennis left it’s gone down hill a bit. Parking has been fixed with the addition of a new parking deck so now there’s parking everywhere. It still doesn’t appear to get as crowded as it did in the past — also, I think the food is of less or cheaper quality than before. I think it’s still good and above average — it’s certainly better than Gorden Biersch(for some reason all the lagers GB is famous for taste flat and lifeless to me). I’ve had a bevy of snacky foods at various events — here’s a mess of photos from several. BBQ Chicken Sliders Buffalo Wings House Made Pretzels Fried Wontons Cocktail Shrimp Individually, I’ve had the following… Spanish Grass Fed Meatballs — very meaty and if you’re into ground meat(which I am) very good! Beer cheese soup — good but not the best I’ve had. That being said, it’s not drowned by something stronger as many places tend to do. I’d call it above average and a good way to start dinner. Lamb Curry Tacos — good but not great — I think they need to be spiced up a bit or served with something more acidic to offset the some of the other flavors. Organic Brisket Reuben — This is a good Reuben — order a side of spicy mustard instead of the Russian dressing and you can thank me later. Georgia Organic Grass Fed Beef Burger with fries — a good standby if you can’t find anything else on the menu enticing. Ropa vieja — A bit disappointing — maybe because I’ve had this dish in some great Miami restaurants. But don’t take my word for this one — as the tomato isn’t my favorite(I tend to go with the Vaca Frita if it’s available). In general, the is a fun place to meet with friends or for events as it can accommodate very large groups. The beer is good and they have ales on the menu which fit into what beer drinkers seem to want these days. (much longer review on my food blog)

This place has been on my want-to-try list for a bit because it’s next to my nail spot I go to every month. It’s located in the Prado shopping center next to the new Japanese steakhouse Fukijama. We went around 8:30−9 on a Saturday night, and surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. They had a private wedding going on in a separate section. The menu leaves me wanting more. I couldn’t really decide what to get because nothing really caught my eye. The small plates sounds more appetizing than their entrees. We checked in on Unilocal and received 50% off any appetizer, so we opted for the fried alligator. It was delish! It was crispy fried and tossed in a sweet chili sauce and atop a slaw-like salad. For the entrée I ordered the hangar steak accompanied with sweet potato fries and sautéed kale with shiitake mushrooms. I liked everything except for the steak. It was extremely chewy, and I absolutely hate chewy steaks. We also ordered the beet salad, and that was fine. Service was great! He was very friendly and helped us with suggestions for the menu. Overall, the food was okay. I’m not sure that I would come back unless we couldn’t decide on a place to eat when in the area. The reason for 3 stars is mainly for the food although the service was great.

I actually come here once a year for my company’s happy hour for our staff associated members. I should really come by more often, I like it here. Esp, with the good space/parking/food. I have not been disappointed! Parking — I find it awesome we can just find a spot almost anywhere. There’s regular parking + parking deck! Eek! Excitement. I love a good place with excellent parking situations. Why? Tbh, 1⁄3 of my mood goes dead if I can’t find a spot near the place I have to go :(But luckily, Prado is great! :) Staff — so I’ve only really met the bar/people who help host parties staff. Very nice people. Even when the party has been super busy and cramped, the ladies here always made an effort to get everyone served with their designed drinks. Almost everyone I’ve talked to praised the staff. Way to go ladies! Space — I’ve only used the room to the left but I’ve seen some outline of the other tables, not bad. Bar seems decent & up to date. Seating shouldn’t be a problem, BUT like I said, I’ve only really been to the room on the left. Drinks — I’ve heard from my colleagues, they love the drinks here. I mean, it’s a brewery! They gotta be good. I unfortunately can’t drink b/c of my low tolerance so I’ve only had a sip. But every person I saw at my company party had a decent cup or 2 of the beer here. Must be good right? Food — another confession: I’ve only really tried the finger foods. But their kabobs + wings+ mini pizzas. NOMNOM. I had like 2 plates of them. But head’s up: their wings are spicyyyyyy. My mouth was on fire. I also liked their regular fried chicken. I thought it was tofu at first, but was happily surprised with chicken nom nom. Oh btw, their egg rolls were rockin’. :D Go shop and eat in this area. Won’t be disappointed!
