Deeply disappointed to have to give the following review. This salon always seems to have the same 3 women working there and they are all incredibly friendly. The polish selection is so-so, a lot of the regular polishes seem very old and need to be thinned out, the gel selection is not the best I’ve ever seen. The provide the«usual suspects» of services that you can expect at a neighborhood nail salon. My biggest issue is going to have to be cleanliness, since my last visit there I have contracted a FUNGUS on my feet. Always be cautious of where you go. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

«Someone in desperate need of a pedicure. I’d be happy to give you a referral.» — Teen Wolf: Season 3 | Episode 12 I have to say that the time has come for me to find a new place for pedicures. My previous place(Spa Sydell) has been too ridden with drama(management and ownership) and stress sitting in the chair because the staff can’t pay their bills working there. The fact that I know this and I pay a fortune to get a pedicure and feel the need to tip another fortune, means I can no longer stand to go there. I have been on the search for a new place and thanks to Samantha H., I found that home at Minerva Nails 2. These ladies are great — I walked in with no appointment on a Thursday late afternoon and they took me right away. My lady’s name was Mimi and she was very nice. Usually I bring my own color with me(in case I chip it between appointments, I can fix it myself) and they were cool with that. She turned on the massage chair — I had to mess with it as it was pretty fierce. Once she took off my previous color and had my feet soaking, Mimi handed me a menu card to pick from. Decisions, decisions. I opted for the $ 28 massage(6 minutes) and pedicure. It was perfect. Foot and calf massage and perfectly done toes. They left me to dry with no word until Sam showed up(as we had plans to do something after). They were super nice before and then found I was a friend of Sam’s and were even happier to know she had referred to me. Maybe she will get something for that? I’ll definitely be back for a regular appointment as they did a great job for me and I appreciate the lack of drama!

This is my absolute favorite place to get pedicures and gel nails. The ladies are so fun and sweet. My gel manicures always stay perfect for almost two weeks. They even indulge my 7 year old daughter and let her get a spa pedicure. The salon is neat and clean and there are always great color options, especially for gel. They use led light instead of uv, which I have heard is harmful to your hands. Anyway, I can walk her from my house so I am so very lucky that a great nail salon is right around the corner. They always say to me «thank you for come back!».

I had been going to a close-by nail salon(near the Publix and Stooges…) for a few years but recent visits felt like the service was going down and the nail techs were inattentive/checked their phones too much/distracted. So, I Unilocaled and saw that Minerva’s Nails had a few good reviews and decided to check it out. I had a really great experience. The nail techs were all friendly and welcoming. They did ask my name and we chatted briefly about things. The selection of different pedicures gave room for a basic to luxury experience. I got something in the middle. I liked that they timed the massage part — at least you know you are getting what you pay for. And the tech offered to extend the massage for 10 mins for $ 12. So I did. While at the previous place I didnt feel like they did a good job at softening the feet and toes, at Minerva’s they did. And it was done in a way that I could still relax and not have to hold my leg up to have the work done. I will definitely go back and for others in the area looking for an alternative — check out Minerva’s.

Minerva Nails is ok. I lived right around the corner so we headed up here, before going to Buckhead for lunch. The pedicure was somewhat rough. She almost clipped my toenail down a little too low(almost to the skin). Their polish selection was ok, but I’m used to nail salons having a ton of colors, it’s almost as though they specialize in pinks and neutrals. Not too much variety. It’s convenient, but I’ve been to better nail places. Parking is very tight as it’s next to a chinese restaurant, a pasta spot(Figo), and a laundromat.

The best service by far, I travel almost 30 minutes to get my nails done. I love the lady’s over at Minerva nail salon. Best nail salon in all of midtown.

I must confess I wasn’t sure about this place in the beginning the window is loud and looks a bit dim inside but it didn’t long to figure out this place is a little gem . The staff is super friendly, remembers their clients names, the chairs are comfy and work. The air of the room is relaxed women seem happy to walk in the door . Lynn is the tech who works on me she is a sweetheart and thorough she makes a point to be extra Gentle with my left foot knowing it was broken appreciate it. Other services are offered Acrylic, Waxing and Gels .
If Mani-Pedi’s are your thing and your in the area stop by.

The experience I had at this place is the reason I would rather do my own nails at home. Not only did they cut my fingernails too short without asking me first about the length I wanted, the girl doing my pedicure cut my big toe with the cuticle cutters and it bled for 2 hours after I left. She was very apologetic, but it’s still unacceptable and unpleasant. While the paint job was great, the service was awful, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and I left in pain and bleeding. And I paid for it. Hmmm, never again.

I’ve been going to Minerva Nails for a few years and LOVE the experience. I bring all of my friends and family in there when they are in town. The girls that work there are so dedicated to making sure I am confortable and enjoy my visit. They make an effort to learn everyone’s name and greet you when you walk in and leave. Although they do occasionally speak korean I never feel like they are speaking negative about customers. They sanitize very well and never use a razor or unsafe exfoliation methods on my feet, which is my pet peeve. That is so dangerous and nail salons still do it all of the time! If you are in the neighborhood check out Minerva! They are located right next to Figo Pasta.

Please save yourself the agony. This place really is quite horrible. The polish job is terrible, and so is the customer service and atmosphere. The place looks old and doesn’t feel very clean. I’ve only been here once but the experience was bad enough to never bring me back again!

I visited here only twice before switching to another salon. When having my extensions applied to my finger nails, the technician who spoke little English used a nail file up against my skin and ripped my skin until it bled. She obviously was very new and still learning on the job. While I was there several other women came in who were obviously repeat customers and seemed overall pleased with the service they were getting. In this business you only get one chance to make a good impression. I gave them two and then left.
