Mint Ultra Lounge

I absolutely love love this place ! It’s so nice and the atmosphere is sexy. I have been here several times the drinks and good and the music is always the new stuff. They have sections you can sit at and order a hookah and they also have VIP sections so you can really turn up with your crew. The waitresses are usually pretty fast with ordering. The food is really good and the prices aren’t to bad either. Over all 5 stars.

This place is right up the street from me, I have tried it three times, I don’t recommend anyone come here customer service is horrible and it is not consistent.
First time I went my friend got pushed into some table she knocked over another guests hookah and they made her pay for it… after we argued she was pushed due to a fight. They didn’t care
Second time I was going for a birthday party, we were meeting up with friends already there, we were going to buy 2 additional bottles and they still were charging us for a cover charge of $ 15 each. There was 5 of us…$ 15 each even if we are getting 2 bottles and are friend are there with 3 bottles… um bye
Third time I went for another birthday party, the birthday girl came to the door and let us in. They had four bottles, 3 hookahs, a few people in the group people buying their own drinks and food. They then said we need to buy 3 more bottles to stay in this section. After the birthday girl argued saying they had spent over $ 1000 all together… they kicked us out of the section. Remind you
they wanted us to buy three bottles and there was only 45 minutes left until they closed

To SMALL to accommodate everybody. I mean back to back, side to side. $ 25 hookah and they only give you 2 tips. Additional ones are $ 5. I came here this past Saturday night with my homegirls and we weren’t amused. If you don’t get $ 20 VIP parking you will literally be parking behind hell! Drinks are fairly high… my first and last time partying there.

I typically only come if I’m eating at Desta next door. They have had some renovations and it looks much better than in the past. Their drinks are strong and the hookah is average. I’ve had great service at the bar and awful service too. They serve your alcohol in plastic cups… that sucks! The crowd can be a bit immature at times. The lounge area isn’t huge but it’s not crammed either. The DJ is typically on point. I prefer less of a crowd and tend to show up before 11pm. Overall it’s worth trying but not going out of the way for.

Zero stars! The worst customer service the btch at the door collecting money is rude and refused to give me back 10 $. I had just stepped inside, never even took a seat and my friend outside informed me he could not get in because itss 21+. I tur ed around and asked foe the money so we could leave because we did not know and she did not hesitate to be rude and tell me no. The next 20 minutes consisted of rude a** security telling me it was JUST 10 $. If it was just 10 $ why was it not given back to me. I would NEVER recommend.

If you want to smoke Huka and get a slight buzz from a drink or 2, kinda boring especially for a Friday.

I came here a couple of months ago and didn’t have the best service. Can’t remember who the waitress was, but her service wasn’t the best. She only came to check on me and my party once. And we were there for 4 hours! A few weeks later my sister convinced me to come back and that time we were served by Breanna. By far, she’s the best server there! I remember Natasha was the bartender at the time and the drinks were better than they were from my previous visit. Breanna made sure that we were well taken care of! She’s a sweetheart and she’s my new favorite at this establishment! Way to go Breanna!!! Thank you for your amazing service. I’ll be sure to refer all my friends to her whenever they go!

I’ve been to this place twice since I’ve moved to Atlanta 2 months ago and have had great experiences both times. Never tried the food but the drinks and hookah are A1. In the back the have a different section similar to a club and its a nice atmosphere! No fighting good vibes I highly recommend trying this place out!

It was OK but I will never visit again. Here’s why: the DJ played the same songs over & over then switched the playlist once it became packed with thug & thots. I ordered a hookah which lasted for about 5mins, the drinks were over priced & tasteless, I also ordered pasta which was served on a dusty red tray, my waitress didn’t ever come back by to offer more hookah, drinks, or anything. It was the worse, never again. The place is small, and after a while you’ll notice you’re only breathing in vapors. Someone is bound to pass out here…

On 1÷11÷2015 the lights went out in the lounge and the club owner held all license and debit cards for those who had a section and was refusing to give back cards at a no charge rate for the inconvenience. So therefore he held plenty of license and debit cards as a refuse to pay. In my opinion if the lights go out in an establishment there should be a backup generator to conduct business. Instead he refused to give back cards, the remainder of the night was a disaster I would not recommend this lounge.

Wow this experience was bad. The only reason it got 1 star was because we were seated quickly. What was wrong with this experience?
1) $ 10 cover for what? The seated area was a MESS! Trash all on the floor and old drinks on the table… What am I paying cover for?
2) The waitress appeared to not have time for us and rushed us the whole time. I know it was busy, but don’t «check on us» and then tell us you don’t have time to take our orders. When it was time to pay she took forever to split our check. Is splitting a check that hard?
3) The drinks were small and not well poured. Considering they were $ 9 I would expect more than I got.
4) Décor: Looked like an outdated strip club. Also please pay for Pandora service as blasting ads in the lounge isn’t the business.
I hope management reviews all the poor reviews and adjusts accordingly. This place could be nice, however, it seems as all they care about is money.

I went here on a week night and the place was pretty empty (which is fine with me) the cook came out to have a chat with my sister and I and the staff was very social with us the drinks were also good I loved the wings and garlic fries yummy! My one thing though was that while I sat enjoying the music a cock roach decided to sidadle next to me and that’s when I decided it was time to go! Nasty! Also they need to remodel this place inside jmo.

Came here last weekend with some friends had a good time. Music got better as the night went on, it got pretty crowded too, we were seated in the back in a section. Section prices were decent for 2 bottles. Food was ok, we had wings and fries, everyone was drunk so we would’ve eaten anything to tide us over. The hookah was pretty good they kept the coals coming so it never went out. Yes the place can get pretty ratchet but not too ratchet where you don’t feel safe or like a fight will start.

Very small. If you want to sit down even for a second, the ripped and torn booths are $ 1,000. The night we went they had run out of bottles so you still have to pay $ 1,000 for a booth but don’t get all of the bottles that its supposed to come with.
Not coming back here.

I’m giving this place 2 stars because of the service staff. They have an amazing service staff but that’s where the «amazing» ends. Depending on who’s making your drink, that can go either way. Some of the bartenders are better than others. The hookah is great and inexpensive but… the food??? Yuck.
First of all, the food is overpriced and for what? You get four medium sized shrimp and partially cooked french fries for $ 12! FOUR SHRIMP FOR 12!!! I can get all you can eat at Red Lobster and lame service for $ 12. It took over 40mins for my friend to get 10 chicken wings fried. I mean come on. My other friend’s meal (shrimp) took well over 20 mins. As a chef I know that shrimp is the quickest cooking protein and it took 25 mins for it to be over cooked, under seasoned and pr — cooked french fries.
Do yourself a favor… come here for the music, ambience, drinks and hookah. Eat before you come. Trust me.

Mint Lounge was cool! I had a great time. Got a hookah, few drinks, nice little section and hung out with my friends. The music was good. Bouncers and security seemed legit. I’ll definitely come again and have a great time.

Get there early if you’re not looking to stand the entire time. Mint has two areas available. one thats more for those who want to «lounge» and another for those looking to dance/​get crunk. I rarely visit the latter cuz you know… chill.
Food is decent but you have to really watch them b/​c they WILL try to stiff you on your shrimp or fries.
Other than that… good hookah, good atmosphere, strong drinks.

Went here to celebrate the marriage of one of my favorite couples. The music was super super loud but the drinks were strong and they flowed consistently. The only thing I didn’t like was the parking (jeeeesh) and the fact that they only let two people share a hookah at a time… smh.

Does this place want to be a club/​lounge or a hookah lounge? I wish they’d figure it out because I DON’T like it. It’s small, but they try to put a dance floor in the back room which is completely in the way. They have sections you can buy, but if you’re not in a section then you sit in an area with several other people, 2 rows of seating facing each other. So you’re probably going to bump into their arms a few times. I don’t want to smoke my hookah while touching arms with a stranger! It’s so crammed and then you have people not wanting to scoot down because they’re trying to save seats. SMDH
I went on NYE and we actually were kicked from our seats. What if we wanted new coals or something for our hookah? Oh well, too bad. Because instead of asking us if we were done, the rude waitress came over and told us we HAD to get up because someone who purchased a bottle needed to sit there. And she definitely was very rude about it. I guess the waitresses were trying to cram people in and make as much as possible in this little place.
At Sahara Hookah Lounge, you get your own seating area (you and your date or party) and aren’t rushed to leave.
NEVER going back!

What’s the first place I went to visit on my trip back to my hometown? Mint lol! I needed to go to a hookah bar since there was no way in heck I was putting mine in my suitcase. You walk in Mint and there are people smoking in the front, but the back where the DJ, bar, dance floor, vibe and room full of hookah smokers is where the magic happens! The DJ played some southern hip hop, which I had been missing living out in the west, and it was A-​OK in my book. The hookahs are typical hookahs with what I assume to be inexpensive ones and they give disposable mouth tips to each person in your group so that no germs are being passed around. The only thing that I did not care for was their use of the quick light charcoals — yeah, no thanks to those. Other than that, I liked this place and will return!
