Good music, great drinks, love the set up. Dance floor is perfect size. My wife enjoyed herself all night. Needs to stay open longer.

Empty, and they played a Rihanna playlist from an iPod on a Saturday night. The hookah was cool, though…

Great amazing music. West African, Arabian, Techno, Trance, whatever it is the DJ will play it. Actually got the DJ to come out to the dance floor with us! Great time, good hookahs. The owner actually let me bellydance here after I told her I was here and it was just amazing. Party was still going strong at 5:30am when we left.

Very nice place. Real chill, low key. Good variety of music. The hookah was really good. They also were generous enough to some friends of mine shoot a music video.

Ive been to Mix twice so far– first time at 4AM and then again at 10PM. Even at 4AM there was a small group of lively dancers, some people sitting/chilling/passed-out/smoking hookahs on the booths surrounding the dance floor, and the DJ spinning energetic music(Hip Hop & Ethiopian-classics – according to those familiar with the music – they were getting down!). This was my third stop for the night and a friend was introducing me and my bf to the place. They have a small menu with 5 – 6 items. We tried the Beef Tibs and they were AMAZINGLY good. So amazing, in fact, that’s specifically what we went for the second time, at 10PM, last night. At 10PM it was much quieter, the music was almost entirely Ethiopian in origin and I’d say the environment was more soothing, allowing for conversation– over BEEFTIBS! Can you tell how excited I am about that? Basically this is a nice, casual lounge spot with an added bonus of flavor, both in culture and food. It’s become a lounge/staple and has me interested in trying more Ethiopian dishes.
