The place is under new management but their work is still consistently excellent, and the guy at the register is friendly and helpful. I’ve trusted them with cashmere sweaters, silk blouses, and even my down comforter – everything always comes back pristine. Turn-around time is FAST and prices are competitive. So glad to have this place in the neighborhood!

It. Caught. On. Fire. With my most important clothes in it… and never got a call from anyone. It’s been almost two months and have heard nothing about what has happened with my stuff!!!

This business currently has a Better Business Bureau complaint pending against it for damaging clients’ clothes and failing to reimburse them for the damage. Always be sure to ask your dry cleaner about their reimbursement policy regarding damaged or lost goods. This particular dry cleaner prefers to refer issues to the International Fabricare Institute, a trade association funded by US dry cleaners that takes months to issue a finding — which usually favors the cleaners over the clients. It’s much better to take your case directly to the Better Business Bureau and small claims court.

I’ve been using this place for years but never asked anything too challenging. Dry cleaning was fine, service was friendly. Things were ready on time. But their alterations service is stinky! I just asked for a pair of pants to be hemmed to a particular length and they messed it up. By half an inch. While they have never bungled my dry cleaning, I may be too pissed off about the alteration to go back. Especially since they are kinda pricey. I suggest you look elsewhere.

If in L5 for your dry cleaning, take the time to walk one block over to Oxford cleaners next to Starbucks. When I used this place, the dry cleaning was frequently not ready when they said it would be(which was especially frustrating when I would bike there from downtown). The killer for me was when they asked me if I wanted them to sew up a half inch tear in a sweater I was getting cleaned. I said sure and, like an idiot, didn’t ask for an estimate. Still, they charged me $ 12(!!!) to sew that up, which made me a non-customer for life. I now use the one in Inman Park, which isn’t listed in Unilocal yet. I’ll add it soon.
