This was an awesome way to get introduced to the Unilocal Elite community!
Fado’s was an excellent spot because we had our own separate space to mingle, eat and drink and Kathleen was super enthusiastic about meeting the new people — she even recognized me as I entered from my Unilocal photo.
Service was prompt, the appetizers and snacks (which included hummus, cheese burger sliders and some of the best fresh, battered chicken tenders I’ve had were great and the beer /​wine /​ale selection was very impressive!
I had a very positive first experience and I’m really looking forward to more Unilocal events in the future.

This event was such a great time, and it was the perfect way to kick off being an Elite (although I do hear that we’re not usually so polite about getting at the food)! Thanks for Kathleen for organizing such a fun night out.
The space at Fado, as Paige mentioned, was perfect — just the right blend of separate space for our group, while we didn’t feel isolated from the energy of the bar. Kind of makes me want to have my own party there in the future.
Of course, the food was a knockout. I found myself ordering hummus & pita again last night, but sadly it didn’t measure up to the Fado version. And learning how to pour the perfect Guinness? That might have been the highlight of the evening. I must say, I feel like a total pro now.
Can’t wait till next time!

Had a great time! Met some cool people and ate good! The location itself was nice and in a safe area… It was spacious, well organized and filled with friendly people! Although I’m not a beer drinker, the free beer was str8! The food was AMAZING… well, at least the Chicken Tenders were! LOL! The sliders were good and so were the Pita Chips n Hummus dip… but the Chicken Tenders were OFF THA CHAIN!!! I’ll go back just for the Chicken Tenders! I have NO clue what type of batter they use, but it’s DAMN SURE GOOD! Well worth the 27 minute drive from my house!
Good job Kathleen! Keep em’ coming!

What a fun event! Kathleen picked a great venue– Fados is a great bar and the service is solid. They have lots of semi-​separate spaces which make it really great for group/​corporate events. The highlights for me were the chicken tenders, which seemed to have a tempura-​style batter, as opposed to regular breading, making them awesomely crunchy but lighter than the regular variety. The beer selection was great (Leffe on tap!), the swag was top notch (love the sunglasses!) and the company was fun. Hope to go to many other events. Thanks Kathleen!
