If you have a choice, go to Palisades East off of Harris Trail. The west side does not have nearly enough trail markers. I was following what was supposed to be a circular route, but lost the trail completely. Ended up walking about three times as far — dog loved it! The park is not as clean as it should/could be. Maybe because the entrance is nestled among apartment complexes, which leads to greater usage. Whatever, I will not be in a rush to come to this side of the park again. I normally take the dog to the east side, and that is where I will return.
