Palm Beach Tan

Palm Beach Tan is great. The front counter attendant was very kind and knowledgable and offered me discounts on lotion.
I moved here from Pensacola, Florida and was a member at another PBT there. I can certainly say that I will continue to be a member. PBT is great.
I was concerned about the parking garage fee in Atlanta but was offered a validation ticket with no hassle.

The beds and the spray booths are great! However, the parking situation is a nightmare! They used to validate parking, but now they only validate for platinum members. The parking deck is $ 15 an hour. So, if you have to wait or purchase something you could end up paying that. Even though I am now a platinum member, somedays I go in and they are out of validation tickets… So, what is the perk of that then… Again, nice tanning salon, but the parking situation is a huge turn off.

I love Palm Beach Tan in general, however, I recently moved and have to go to this location and I’m very frustrated. The actual beds are great and the staff is good as well, however, the parking on the other hand is RIDICULOUS!
I pay $ 70.00 a month for a membership, yet they will not validate my parking in the garage because I am not a Platnium member. I usually park on the street, however, they were paving the street today and signs were posted if you parked there you would be towed and a policeman told me I had to park in the garage. The garage states $ 5.00 parking for 0 – 20 min. I was there for 15 minutes and at the pay station told I needed to pay $ 10.00. Are you kidding me?! So basically I just paid $ 10 to park, $ 2.33 for a booster in my spray tan and my $ 70 a month I pay all for 1 spray tan. WTF. LIVID does not even begin to describe how I’m feeling right now. Way to make your customers feel valued that you only pay parking if they are a Platnim member, I guess my $ 70.00 a month isn’t enough.
Total crap. Don’t go here if you plan to park in their garage — you will be ripped off.

This salon has the absolute best beds I have ever laid in. After three sessions I had incredible color. The staff is very knowledgeable (with the exception of a girl that had no idea what i was talking about when I mentioned the promo fliers that were in every room).
I do agree with the other reviewer about parking. Thr majority of the time, the garage validation works, but I have had to pay $ 3 and $ 15 even with my validation ticket.
I wish they had red light therepy and formostar like all of the solar dimensions. Palm beach is just a tanning salon. Lotions, extenders, and twilight teeth are a bit more expensive than at other tanning salons that sell the same products.

When I signed up I was told Palm Beach Tan would validate parking which was very important since parking in the area is expensive. Today, after I tanned, I asked for a validation ticket and was told they didn’t have any. There is a dispute going on between PBT and either another tenant or the landlord I was told. I had to pay $ 10 for parking which is more than one tanning session! I will not be going tanning with confirming they have a validation card upfront.
Also it’s annoying how much they try to up sell with tanning products. They products for sunless tanning are not needed and have actually made my sprays worse.
