Much more than a standard tanning salon. I try to tan as little as possible but still want some color. I LOVE the«Hydration Station» for weight loss and they can put additives into the service to help you tan darker and quicker. There is also a «Red light facial» that helps with breakouts, discoloration, and reduces fine lines/wrinkles. I saw instant results in under-eye puffiness/darkness & pore size. I get the best results spending about an hour and a half and doing Hydration Station + UV tan + red light facial. I tried all the services without products at first then got the product pair for each service. I now get immediate and long-lasting results from every session! Tons of great skincare products at reasonable prices, too. They always have deals and sales on retail and memberships

Beds are hot, staff is friendly. Hours, however… stink! Especially when Unilocal says they open at 10am but their door says 11am… Annoying!

I bought a living social voucher for three Luminous Facials, three Hydro Massages, and three Hydro-Derma Fusion Treatments. The voucher costs $ 49. I actually really like this kind of automatic salons. I think the business idea is brilliant. I like Luminous Facial the best. Red light helps to reduce my nasolabial folds. Hydro-Derma Fusion Treatments is similar to a steam capsule, and I found it very relaxing. Hydro Massages is so-so compared to the other two. The girl at the counter was very friendly. She tried to sell some products that go with the sessions but she was not pushy or cold. I bought a product that go with the Luminous Facial, although it did improve the result, I found using a serum I brought from elsewhere works the same. Also I suggest bringing some aroma oil and a bottle of water when having Hydro-Derma Fusion Treatments session. Planet beach does sells some oils that go with this session, but it costs $ 20+ for one bottle. I did notice that some reviewer on said that the monthly membership was difficult to cancel. So I would say if the place sells punchcards, like 10 session for $ 50-$ 100, I could come back; but I would never buy their monthly membership or leave them my credit card information. I do notice that this place offers vouchers on livingsocial often. The location is also a big big plus, it is right next to wholefoods and home depot. Note: Since I am Asian, I do not need tanning services, so I am only rating the three treatments I have had.

Did a monthly membership over the winter. Went in late March to inquire about canceling. Girl behind the counter said she’ll leave a note for the owner to process which I went back in a few days later and signed on 4÷2÷12. The girl working the spa said April would be my last month, this was clearly discussed. They charged $ 52 again in May, after 2 messages left over a course of 4 days the owner finally called back and said well, no my cancellation was for May and she made a note so she just knew she discussed this with me. I’ve never spoken to her in person and she had no conversation with me. She’s a dishonest person who will squeak an extra month of fees from you and lie to keep it. Make sure you use a credit card and not debit.

I went to this location for the first time. I think based on feel and look(a little cramped), I would give it three stars. It is nice enough, but definitely a tan spa/salon rather than a salon where people give you facials and massages. All the little rooms are separated by walls, but not ceilings, so you can hear everything. However, I give it an additional star for service. I have a LivingSocial deal, and called to make an appointment for the Luminous facial. When I arrived, I filled out all the paperwork and decided to try their product during the facial. It turned out that the person before me was still in her facial, so the people working there gave me ten minutes in the hydromassage for free, which was awesome. I can’t wait to have a full session in that thing. I was so blissed out. The Luminous facial was a little weird, I admit. I sat in a massage chair that was too big for me(my arms kept falling out… I’m too short…), and the red light made me nervous, because this was my first time. I was wearing protective goggles provided by the location, and it was really relaxing. I’m looking forward to using the other services as well.

Never had any issues at this location. The employees are usually sweet and not too ditzy as can be the problem with a lot of people who work in these places. The Buckhead location does offer more services, but this one is a lot closer to my house. Usually do a triple threat: hydration station, tanning, and Mystic. Try it: you will feel spoiled ;)

I’ve been a member of this location for about 3−½ years now and have had a pretty good experiences with most of the people who work there. There has been the occasional associate who can’t read the information on my account correctly and announces to the entire store that my credit card has declined by other than that, everyone has been friendly and professional. It seems that the mean ones don’t last too long anyway; I never see them more than twice. Other than that they have really nice tanning beds, a good selection of tanning butters, and a pleasant waiting room. I guess not much else is required of a tanning bed.
