I’ve been to Park’s Edge a number of times before they closed — mainly for the bottomless mimosas, to be honest. There’s a shortage of brunch restaurants with bottomless mimosas in Atlanta, so Park’s Edge doesn’t have much competition. I would’ve probably given 3 – 4 stars if the service were better. The food is ok, sometimes a notch above ok, but nothing that’s ever blown me away. The parking is typically a(minor) headache. But the service is really what takes this place down to 2 stars. They’re typically busy on the weekends, but it seems that they always use being busy as an excuse to provide poor service. This poor level of service extends all the way to the owner, might I add. You’re likely to experience ong waits to get a table, water, to order food, and to receive your food. I’ve also personally experience having to ask around for our server who just passed us off to the busboy or runner because what we wanted did not involve a food or drink order. And don’t even think about asking for a manager, because he will just tell you(the customer) that you’re wrong, in so many words. In the service industry, GOODSERVICE is a must(surprise, surprise). Park’s Edge just doesn’t offer it. But hey, bottomless mimosas will make me put up with a lot! :)

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food! The calamari appetizer was exceptional, and our main course was equally delicious. The bone-in pork and the lobster Mac & cheese were particularly good. For dessert the bread pudding is a must-order! Definitely try this restaurant

I saw the restaurant on Kitchen Nightmares, and when my baby sister and her friend came to Atlanta for the weekend and suggested we have brunch, I chose Parks Edge. The total party size was 4 adults and 2 children. Baby sis got there at about 12:45 and was told there’d be a 1 hour wait. Older sis and I were on our way. They had a reservation cancellation and gave my sis the table within 15 minutes. THEWAIT: Although we didn’t have to wait, if you decide to go, please make a reservation. The wait was so insane that by the time we arrived, ordered, ate, and chit-chatted, the people who were standing outside waiting when we got there were JUST being seated(about 2:30). That’s crazy. THENOISELEVEL: The noise level in this place is INSANE. Every single sound bounces off the walls and reverberates. I literally could not hear my sisters sitting directly across from me because all I could hear were all the conversations at the other tables. It was ridiculously noisy. Just unbearable. I assume there’s nothing they can do about that, but it’s worth noting. If noise bothers you, this is not the restaurant for you. THEFOOD: I ordered a waffle, shelled eggs well done, and bacon extra crispy. It came with a side of fresh fruit. My waffle was good. My eggs were egg-beaters and they were not well done. My bacon was okay. All in all, the food was decent. THEPROBLEM: I started eating my fruit, which came in a soufflé dish. I got almost down to the bottom and saw a lot of brown juice covering the remaining fruit. I assumed it must have been some sort of a brandy or maybe cinnamon sauce or something. I couldn’t remember what the menu said about it, so I flagged down a server to ask her. She immediately took the dish from me and started apologizing. When she brought me a new one, I dumped it on a clean plate and noticed that there was no brown juice. So I asked her what the brown stuff was and she said she didn’t know but she was really sorry about that. So basically, I ate an entire dish of rotten fruit and unidentified liquid. Before the fruit issue, I kept saying that I would have to try back during the week and see if the noise level is better. But rotten fruit? No thanks.

Glad I had a reservation. Place is crowded on Saturdays. I came here on a first date for brunch in Aug. My first impression of this place is that is TINY. I mean, it’s the hold-in-your-stomach as you walk down the rows type of tiny. The type of place that would make a claustrophobe hyperventilate. Luckily, management understands and is in the process of relocating the restaurant to another location. 1 star for that. The other two stars are for this restaurant’s ambience and food. It was my choice, and I’m glad that it provided the romantic-yet-laid-back atmosphere that I wanted. We ordered the bottomless mimosas for the two of us. He ordered the Chilaquiles & Fried Egg; I ordered the shrimp and grits. My order was FANTASTIC. DELICIOUS. IMPECCABLE. His meal, well … not so much. He spent the entire rest of our afternoon wishing he had ordered my meal instead of what he had. The server was very friendly. Very accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. Our meal came to about $ 50, which would put this on the moderate spender’s list. All in all, three stars for an A-OK restaurant.

This is our third time here and food is always delicious. I came in on Thursday evening and this place was empty. I was not all that hungry but craving for Mussels. I order from the appetizer for $ 10 and I tell you… This was one of the BEST mussel dish. My hubby ordered Chicken dish which he liked. I had salmon the last time and it was great also. Food is five stars, service is good, atmosphere is okay and parking is questionable. Just doesn’t feel all that safe… But maybe it’s just me…

We love this place… white chocolate chip pancakes are the BOMB! Great staff/fab service!!! Bottomless mimosas are sooooo good! Small bar but totally works for the space. The bartender was also awesome and this includes very friendly! I will continue to go there and look forward to celebrating my b-day there with brunch!

I enjoyed a late dinner at Park’s Edge this past weekend with my mom, sister, and good friend from graduate school(and an Atlanta native). Overall, we had a great experience and had an awesome server, Jay(he was very personable, attentive, and knowledge about the dishes and the local area). We order the Fried Calamari with green goddess sauce and Fried Green Tomato with buttermilk dressing appetizers. Both dishes were fresh, hot, and tasty. I ordered the Pan Seared Rainbow Trout entrée that came with sweet potato purée and fermented cabbage toppings. Our server sold me on the choice after raving about their local source(aka the fisherman) that personally delivers his catch of the day to the restaurant. Overall, my entrée was delicious and flavorful! The rest of my table ordered the following entrees:(1) the Honey Marinated Flank Steak with garlic mashed potatoes, corn relish, green beans, chimmi churri sauce,(2) Pan Seared Salmon with cauliflower purée, caper raisin relish, green beans, and(3) Roasted Chicken Breast with Israeli couscous, cranberries, butternut squash, pecans. Everyone was impressed the presentation of the dishes and taste of each selection. I also ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese with herbed breadcrumbs to go. The dish was great and I felt like I had a party in my tummy(Lol!) once I enjoyed the dish later in the wee hours of the night at the hotel during a movie marathon with the girls. I will definitely return to Park’s End the next time I make it to Atlanta!

Great brunch spot! Parking is hard to find sometimes, especially Sundays. I try to find parking on N. Highland as the parking lot is almost always full(and is one way, yet people seem to not see the signs!) The little walk way when you first walk in is very narrow. And if you ever have to wait for a table, there’s not much space to stand to the side so you’re awkwardly in servers’ way. Most of the time service is good. I’ve only encountered one slow waiter, but it was also a busy day. I just love the blueberry and white chocolate pancakes! Also, I would recommend not coming in a large group as this place is very small in general and has limited seating.

I’ve been to Park’s Edge a few times over the past year. The patio dining is very nice, the brunch experience is cool but the overall ambiance is always right on par for a romantic experience. The food on the other hand can be hit or miss. The Spicy Wings are very good, the Mango Margarita is delicious, the Honey Flank steak, the Salmon and Burger are also very good. I just ordered the Snapper special last night, simply put, not good. It tasted like the fish was under cooked and also had a very strong fishy smell that was unappealing. Overall, still a good night and a very nice place to dine. Grouponers beware, review your bill carefully. The following items should be covered when using the latest voucher: appetizer(up to $ 12) and 2 entrees(up to $ 27).

First time at Park’s Edge, last time as well… While it’s located in Inman Park area, and right by the Beltline, it’s quite quaint and nice. My friend and I sat outside, it was a small but nice patio right under a tree — waiter said there were no birds to poop on me :) There were however, ants and other fly bugs, but it is spring and good weather out. Our waiter… gosh our waiter, a bumbling man of later 40s/50s who was friendly but mumbled and fumbled, maybe he was new? He definitely memorized all the specials and things on the menu, but was difficult to understand… he could’ve been nervous. Anyhows, we first ordered two cocktails, then one appetizer then two entrees [the latter portion: 1 appetizer and 2 entrees covered by Groupon]. We got our bread in a bit of slow time, I always like bread to arrive by the time we get our drinks… The bread was soft inside and crispy on the outside, but only 3 slices/pieces for 2 people. Strange. The food didnt take too long to arrive, and it seemed fresh and hot, and the appetizer Fried Green Tomatoes were good but also in 3 slices for 2 people. WTH is with restaurants these days… can you make 4 small slices or 2 big slices instead of 3 equal slices? Most people go out in even numbers, not odd and so you should make your menus that way! The two appetizers were a New York Steak and Lobster Mac N’Cheese, both were pretty good and flavorful, we shared with each other. Large portions, enough to fill one person each. Service was decent, our water was refilled [not by the waiter] and plates got taken away promptly when we finished eating. We were too full for dessert, so we just got the bill to pay. This is where the problem happened! Since I bought the Groupon, I handed the waiter the printout, he left and came back with a bill. I usually never double-check the bill, since I assume restaurants know what they are doing, but apparently not — at least not our waiter! I got a bill back with a pen scrawled«Original bill was $ 80, now is less», even though I saw the price of the bill total was almost $ 55 dollars [rounding up], I always tip 20% on Groupons, so I tipped $ 16 thinking it was $ 80 right — that’s what the waiter wrote! But then I got home and was suspicious of the math, I looked at the bill, if the Groupon covered the 1 appetizer and 2 entrees, then it was just the 2 cocktails plus tax. Of course, that did not equal $ 80 at ALL!!! So I have no idea where the waiter got that figure, I even added the original prices back of the appetizer/entrees and tax and etc and did not get that number, I did get $ 55 [but then Groupon was of no value???]. So what happened is still a mystery, and basically I got charged $ 55 for 2 $ 10 cocktails, and paid the waiter a 80% tip. Basically I didn’t save any money with the Groupon, just goes to show you… don’t buy them anymore, always check your bill, and don’t go to Park’s Edge. YIKES! ;(

I came here with a friend and we both had steak. I had the New York Strip Steak and it was pretty appetizing. My medium steak could have been prepared a little bit better but overall a moderate place to dine, I wasn’t a fan of the noise level.

Bottomless Mimosas & Bellini’s, great food, and good service make this a great brunch destination! BEWARE that parking can be difficult. Ladies DONOT wear heels(or carry flip flops) just in case you have to walk as the restaurant is located on a steep hill. The crowd can get rowdy, but in a good way… people talking, laughing and having a good time. Seating is available both inside and outside. I ordered the shrimp & grits which was OK, but I sampled my friend’s peach french toast & sausage and it was delectable, so I will be having that on my next visit. Will definitely be back!

I was expecting this place to be awful… only because I heard bad things. So when my friend told me we were going here for dinner AND she had a Groupon I must admit I was dragging my feet. To my surprise and to silence the rumors the service was excellent and the food was delicious! The owners as seen on Hell’s Kitchen were out front and were very friendly. The waitstaff were prompt and replaced silverware, kept waters filled, quickly cleaned the area, brought food and spirits out lightening fast. So, I’m not sure why this place gets the bad rep… We ordered two appetizers — Fried Calamari and Ricotta/Goat Cheese/Truffle Dip. The fried calamari was great and comes with what I guess is a wasabi dip. Crispy and well seasoned! The truffle dip was to die for. How can I eat that every day without getting fat? There are vegetable chips(my fave) served with it. I recommend the truffle dip. I think I’m going there asap now that I think of it. Drinks — I was less adventurous and had a simple glass of Riesling, my friend ordered the Brazilian Wax. She loved it but said there was a bit too much ice. So she ordered a second one. Dinner — Honey Marinated Flank Steak and Chicken Cutlets. My friend devoured her plate so I can only assume great things. As for the chicken cutlet plate it was heavenly. I finished maybe 30% of it and it was just as awesome for breakfast. The chicken was season perfectly and the spinach was fresh sauteed then topped with a gravy or something. The mashed potatoes were yummy as well but a little salty. I would order it again though. Overall, I had a really good experience and would recommend Park’s Edge. When I return to update this review I hope it will be just as awesome.

I was super excited to try this place for brunch for a friend’s 25th birthday. I love the locale, Inman Park is one of my favorite neighborhoods. However, once we served our drinks we waited forever to order our food. Isn’t that always the kiss of death for a restaurant experience? I ordered their take on the breakfast burrito. It was supposed to be served with chicken, eggs, potatoes; it seemed standard and it looked awesome on someone else’s plate. After waiting for our food for about 35 minutes, it finally came. Everyone else’s food looked fine but I was already unimpressed by the lack of concern by our server. Not once did he say«Hey, sorry about the wait, your food is coming.» I am a server so I guess I can be particularly critical. But, hey! It only takes a second to check on a table! Well, my food came alright, with just chicken in it. I had to send it back and wait for another, complete burrito. When it came the eggs and chicken were dry and it was still missing ingredients. At this point I cut my losses and ate it. Although I found the food to be bland, I must say there was a Dining Room Attendant who was FANTASTIC. I don’t know his name but he was so polite and helpful. I wish he was our server. If management sees this: Promote the kid or give him a pat on the back, he’s working really hard and he deserves a high-five. I don’t think Park’s Edge will be the place for me and I feel there are way better brunch options in town. Maybe their dinner fare is better. As a side note: My friends were charged a $.50 surcharge for getting a sandwich without tomato. I thought it was really weird, and no where on the menu does it say that they charge for modifications. Just a heads up!

After visiting Atlanta from DC(where bottomless mimosa’s are as common as peaches in ATL) we searched Unilocal for a place with good reviews, bottomless mimosas, and a place that would accept reservations. I stumbled across Park’s Edge and would recommend it to anybody going to Atlanta looking for a great brunch place. Before even arriving in ATL, the service was great! While making the reservation the host told me to schedule it for 12(you can’t start drinking alcohol till 12:30). The food was AMAZING and the best part is, is that on the menu they list every ingredient they use in the meal, such as cilantro. I personally HATE cilantro but its usually not listed on many menus as a main part of the meal, which can honestly ruin a whole dish for me. The only mistake in the meal was that the chef accidentally added cheese to my friend’s omelet and she can’t indulge in cheese. They took the omelet back, he came out and personally apologized for his mistake, and then gave her a to-go box of the delicious biscuits that they made for the table. Thanks again Jorge! I would 100% recommend this place to any brunch lover in the Atlanta area!

My BF bought the $ 30 Groupon for this place — one appetizer(up to $ 12) and two entrees(up to $ 28 each). We made a reservation for 7:30 Thursday night, thinking it would be relatively empty. We were right — we ended up finishing up errands early and I changed the reservation to 6:45 with no problem. The restaurant is located in a small house off the beaten path(or small paved road, rather?) The area does look a bit sketch. Inside, there is no host stand. The layout is a bit awkward because you enter into a hallway that runs horizontally, so you are essentially facing a wall. To the right is the bar area and to the left is the dining area. It’s pretty small and cozy. Service was EXCELLENT. Very attentive, yet not overbearing. We ordered the fried green tomatoes for our appetizer as well as the soup of the day, chicken velouté. This was a creamy chicken soup with carrots, onion and celery. Very good but it kind of reminded me of an upscale version of Campbell’s Cream of Chicken. The fried green tomatoes were OK. The tomatoes were extremely tart and would have done well with a dollop of goat cheese. Instead, it came with a drizzle of buttermilk ranch and arugula plus a corn and pepper relish. For my entrée, I HAD to get the lobster mac and cheese. I am a mac and cheese fanatic. I received a heaping portion of mac with small pieces of lobster sprinkled throughout. I loved the crispy herbed breadcrumbs interspersed throughout the dish. The mac was surprisingly light — almost like a creamy white pasta, just with macaroni. Do I think it is worth the regular price of $ 19? Definitely not, but I don’t regret ordering it. The BF raved about his pork chop. It came with sweet potato purée, spinach and a relish of apricot and pistachio. I am not the biggest pork fan but the chop was nice and juicy. It was a thick cut, too. Of course, we had to get dessert. I already knew I wanted the white chocolate macadamia nut bread pudding with raspberry compote. I have only had bread pudding a couple times in my life, but PE’s version is quite dense. I think I would have liked it a bit«fluffier», if that makes any sense. I did not taste much white chocolate in the pudding, but I liked the raspberry drizzle and the finely minced nuts. Would love to come back here for brunch! That peaches and cream French toast sure does sound tempting…

Park’s Edge has a great vibe-perfect for brunch with friends. I ordered soup of the day: crab bisque… delicious:) priced well. Major downfalls: 1-when it crowded(due to LARGE parties) it’s LOUD! 2-Not very accommodating –small in space. No waiting area for those walking in the door I’m sure anything you order will give you happy eats!

Park’s edge is a fine-dining restaurant with multiple personalities. I first came to know about this restaurant from Groupon — they were running a deal for dinner for two with drinks. The restaurant itself is in a nice neighborhood but the parking can be difficult on busy days(but that doesn’t happen much) and I should note that parking area is not well lit. Service was Just an OK. We had to call servers for refilling water or for drinks, they were not very attentive. And boy, appetizers came some 50 minutes after we ordered. We didn’t appreciate that. Later when we received the check, they have charged extra for two items which was supposed to be part of our deal. When asked, we were told lamb racks were premium items and isn’t part of Groupon deal — we immediately pulled out fine print of the deal and asked where it was mentioned. They were speechless for a minute then the manager(also co-owner) was called, who talked for 20 minutes(albeit, politely) and refused to honor the deal. At the end we paid the extra but called Groupon who promptly apologized for our experience and refunded whole deal price. Instead of haggling with us for 20 minutes manager could have just honored the deal — not a good way to earn customer’s trust. That’s a shame because food here in Park’s edge is good — really, really good. We just didn’t feel like service justified the premium price. Having said that, we went back several times with consistent experience — An ok service and very good food. I took away two stars because of their service. I just couldn’t overlook it given the price range. It’s overall experience that I rate here.

Brunch was great! $ 11 unlimited mimosas or bellini. What a great deal. :) The staff was very friendly. No one rushed us as our party took our time dining, chatting, and enjoying our bottomless beverages. The food was delicious as well. I ordered the strawberry and chocolate pancakes, which included three giant pancakes. After the delicious biscuits(first basket is free, and about 50 cents per biscuit after that), I was so full that I could barely finish one pancake. Other people at our table ordered the peaches and crème French toast, omlet, and grits. Everyone enjoyed their food. I’d recommend.

Reading the mixed reviews, I never had a big interest in checking this place out — even when there was a 50% Scoutmob offer. But my friend had a Groupon that was expiring and well, I rarely turn down an opportunity to try a new place :) The food was just ok, however service was very good and I did like the ambiance a lot. Very cozy, warm, intimate — I felt like I was dining at someone’s house … only 2 other tables were occupied. I hear it’s completely different during brunch when the ambiance esp. on the patio is loud and packed with people — probably due in part to the $ 10 bottomless mimosas and bellini’s :) Meal started with complimentary bread and a whole roasted garlic — I’m a garlic fan and my friend isn’t so I ate the whole garlic myself :) Other things I tried: PARK’S EDGEHOUSESALAD — $ 7 Tried my friend’s salad which she orders all the time. It had field greens, roasted corn, black beans, corn tortillas(but looked like fried wontons), pumpkin seeds, and cilantro vinaigrette. Good but nothing special — sorry but couldn’t help comparing it to Empire State South’s Superfood Salad which I had earlier that day where the salad was also deconstructed. My friend also got the«Jumbo Lump Corn Crab Cakes w/Cilantro Aioli»($ 8) but I forgot to ask for a bite :(She gets that all the time, too. HONEYMARINATEDFLANKSTEAK — $ 19 This wasn’t one of our server’s recommendations but I ordered it anyway b/c I was craving red meat. Regretted my decision as the meat was extremely chewy … like one of the chewiest meats I’d ever eaten. Everything else was good though — garlic mashed potatoes(very good and I liked that it wasn’t the creamy kind), broccolini(very good), Cascabel onion rings(good), and chimichurri sauce(but a little too vinegary). FYI — our server said her favorites are … — Salads — Grilled Caesar Salad, Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese Salad — Apps — Crispy Chevre Wontons, Roasted PEI Mussels, Ahi Tuna Crudo — Entrees — Salmon, Scallops, Grilled Filet Monte Carlo Overall 3 stars. Not sure if I’d make a return trip just b/c it’s far from where I live. FYI — free parking is available in the lot next door, and along the street.
