I always order the mushrooms cheesesteak, my favorite. The Philly cheesesteak is a good portion. The food is consistently tasty. I’m a regular.

I love this place. The two times I’ve visited have been excellent. The owners(husband and wife) run the shop on their own. About hygiene, personally, I haven’t noticed anything wrong. And to be honest, if you think people are wearing gloves to prepare your food in «top notch» restaurants, you’re mistaken. These are honest people who do their cooking and prep right in front of you. Anyways… The food: So far I’ve had the original cheese steak and the mushroom cheese steak. LAWWWWD When you split the two halves it’s like a cheese commercial. Meat and veggies held together by gooooey cheese. It gets even better as you eat it. The wait: Both waits were approx six minutes. The menu: They’ve got a lot of options, personally can’t vouch for anything but the cheese steak yet. The price: after tax a large cheese steak runs about $ 9. Worth it. The ambience: It’s your average deli décor, good if you want to get some work done, they have a couple tvs running usually. This place is exactly as it should be.

Been eating here since their days in Ansley Mall. Their cheesesteaks are so good that I followed them here to their new location and come at least once a week. The steaks are made from scratch, so yes it takes a few minutes. But totally worth it– love everything about them– great bread, great steak. Yummmm!

Pretty good Philly cheese steaks. Used to live in Philadelphia and we went here as part of a Saturday shopping trip. Not really close to much, but it is great Philly Steaks. The place is low-key and the menu is limited. Nonetheless a pretty good place for a steak sandwich.

My roommates and their friends visit this philly cheesesteak joint often and told me how good it was. They convinced me to come with them last time they wanted to come. This place was manned by one-person(from ordering to making the food to calling out for customers when food is ready) which seems very understaffed. The man, which I’m assuming is the owner, is super friendly and greeted us warmly. My roommate and I shared a large cheesesteak sandwich because we weren’t that hungry and got onion rings as the side(extra charge for onion rings). The food took a while because he was the only taking orders and cooking, but it wasn’t a terrible wait. I feel like customers are more understanding too since you can just see him running back and forth from the cashier to the grill trying his best to satisfy everyone’s needs. I will say the cheesesteak is alright — nothing exceptional but does the job if you’re feeling the cheesy meaty cravings. I definitely give kudos for this man who works very hard to run this place by himself and still providing good customer service. My only complaint is that he should wear gloves when handling cooked food, especially if he’s running back and worth between germ filled money/credit cards and food preparation, or at least practice good hand hygiene.

First of all, the person handling your food(raw meat, bread, cheese, etc.) is the SAME person handling money and WIPINGHISNOSEWITHOUT washing his hands or wearing gloves! You have got to be kidding me. That should have been my first sign to walk out. Their service is incredibly slow yet 4 customers got their sandwich orders before my order was ready. The mushroom cheese steak was edible at best however I kept praying that the heat from the grill killed anything that was on his bacteria-filled hands. Fries were clearly deep fried from frozen with no flavor. Probably would have given them a rating of 3IFHEWASHEDHISHANDS or, at least, wore gloves — DISGUSTING. Never eating here again.

Great cheesesteaks! This place is awesome. You’d miss it if you weren’t looking for it. Look for it!

Pretty disappointing, since the majority of reviews here are positive and the strikes seem to stem from the service. I went at lunch time and 12 minutes elapsed between the card swipe and food delivery — which is totally reasonable. $ 8.39 for a large sandwich, $ 2.19 for fries and drink combo. Let’s cut to the chase — a good cheesesteak rests on a solid bread foundation. If the bread isn’t good, the sandwich won’t be. And I hate to say it, but PCP kind of falls flat at their core business of Philly cheese steaks. I think you could compress the entire roll into a half-dollar-sized sphere. That’s how lacking it was in actual flour content. And it was stupid soft, which is just plain unappetizing. I bought a regular-sized hoagie steak, basically a standard cheesesteak plus some tomato and lettuce.(It’s Friday. I decided to get a little crazy). In addition to the bread — flimsy and thin — the thing was loaded up with butter. I don’t mean a little, but a LOT. And it wasn’t even goldened into the bread, which is the entire point of using butter — just melted in there. Let’s do some math — factory farmed meat + Sysco cheese = 0.5 points for flavoring already, and the butter *overpowered* everything in the sandwich. The tomato was actually bright and red, and tasty, but the whole cheesesteak was only appetizing for the first few bites. The fries were pretty good. Evenly cooked and well-seasoned. I also appreciated that the iced tea was delicious. The atmosphere was a mixed bag. Clean and light enough, with an out-of-place ecology poster on the wall. But the noise level was annoying. It made reading my book a chore. Ketchup for your fries? Sure, they have that. But there’s nowhere to put it. No room in the basket, no mini cups. Overlooking some pretty basic stuff there. Take it from a native Philadelphian — it just wasn’t close to what I expected it to be. Can’t recommend this place; I’ll be going back to Woody’s next time.

Food is decent but it took 45 minutes to get 2 sandwiches, even though there was no wait to order. Only 2 workers and they are more interested in taking more orders than making the food.

I liked it slightly better than Roy’s. I’m from upstate, NY, and while it isn’t philly, there are a ton of Italian Americans running these kinds of shops there. This one is good and affordable.

I am amazed by the positive reviews of this place. I can assume people have never had a real steak sandwich before or they were really hungry. Ordered an original cheese-steak to go the other day. I should have known when saw the woman take a frozen hunk of something out of a box and throw it on the grill. I heard a thud and should have just cut my losses and walked out. It took almost 10 minutes to cook, because it was frozen! when you use frozen meat, it doesnt allow the meat to sear and you are basically steaming the meat in its own water. then, they put a huge amount of cheese and instead of laying on cheese, letting it melt for 30 seconds or so and putting it into the bread they stir it into the meat, horrible. I knew driving home 10 minutes away would only make it worse, so I ate it on the ride home. It was just awful, 3 bites and I was done. Bottle water was chugged to wash it down and get rid of the pepper they must douse on there. I am not from Philly, but I know when something taste terrible. Learned my lesson from this place.

Friday night after an exciting trip of watching my girlfriend get pierced, I was craving a philly. I did some googling and we settled upon Philly Cheesesteak Place. It isn’t fancy, but the food is hot and definitely hit the spot. I ordered the small philly, mozzarella sticks, a small fry, and a drink. My girlfriend ordered the large philly and a large fry. When our food came out, her philly was definitely larger, but we had about the same amount of fries on our plate. We both agreed that the sandwiches were delicious, moist, and well seasoned. I guess my only issue with my food that night was the frying oil needed some changing because my mozzarella sticks tasted of cheese and everything else that gets fried in the joint.

I was torn between 4&5 stars, as this really isn’t anything at all fancy. But, when I thought about it, there’s nothing at all to dislike, either! So, if you’re looking for delicious, hot, fresh cheesesteak sandwhiches, this is the place to be. They have great bread, and delicious grilled chessesteak. And when I say fresh, I mean, you better have a 10 minute drive home before you crack into that thing, because it’s still plasma hot when you get there! I keep coming back to the mushroom cheesesteak, but everything else I have tried was very satisfying, including a few of the cold-cut sandwhiches. The owner is usually running the grill, and his(I assume) wife is bustling about cleaning. Considering this is a $ 10 meal kind of place, it’s amazingly clean inside too. Really nice folks, and worth a stop in. I only wish they were open at 3am so I could get some incredible drunk food when I leave the local pubs nearby :)

This spot is cool. They serve a pretty decent sandwich with good flavor. I got the small mushroom steak combo. When I first got it looked dry but when I bit into it, it was moist and you got a feel for the flavor immediately. I thought the small was going to be too small but it was just the right size when you get the fries. If you like cheesesteaks I don’t think you will have any complaints.

KC: Owner is a hard worker and his Philly cheesesteak is the outcome! Tender sirloin served on a steaming, hot hoagie… With fresh toppings. You have your choice of 4 white cheeses and I chose mozzarella! Great parking and location! Amazingly clean… Fries are crispy! May be open later than hours posted.

Yummy Yummy! The place is clean and the staff is helpful, but not necessarily friendly. The cheesesteaks were yummy, flavorful and I’ll definitely be back.

As others have said, this place is THE place to go! This is the same place that used to be in Ansley Plaza, and I’m glad they stayed in the neighborhood. The mushroom philly cheesesteak is amazing with the right ratio of meat to cheese and onions. The fries are just perfect! So far, this one is the place to beat in ATL.

I’m surprised there is only one review for this place. It is absolutely delicious. I got the philly cheesesteak obviously and i loved it. Completely flavorful, big, and nice and delicious. Their fires are awesome too. They arent the crinkley, soggy type of fries. They are the straight, beefy, crunchy kind… my favorite. It is difficult to find and see from the road though. Its off Cheshire Bridge and i just happened to look to my right as i was driving home one day and i saw it out of the corner of my eye. I turned around as i am always on the lookout for the perfect cheesesteak sandwich and i am glad i did turn around and go here as i think i may have found one of the best cheesesteak places in Atlanta. Will definitely be going back.

This is the Philly connection that used to be in Ansley mall. Its not quite Philly connection though, has a lot of the same stuff but more options. Vienna Beef hot dogs, burgers, wings, and various sandwiches and salads. Its like bootleg Philly connection. Better quality than Philly connection. It was good, I’ll probably go again. I really liked the bread. Ranch dressing was Ken’s steak house, eh. The guy working there was nice. They stay open late, but I guess they get business late in that area. The only reason I will not return often is the price.(Other than its totally unhealthy) It was around $ 10.00 for a chicken philly, fries, and a drink. I expect fresh, not cubed chicken for that price.
