Wouldn’t it be cool if they had a website that showed the in store performances and kept current with what they were into, had in stock, wanted… mostly its annoying that one can’t find times and dates of the in-stores. Other than my whining, these guys are doing a good job! Fun store, small but open, not a huge selection but they are all super knowledgeable and will help you out!

This store is not for everyone, but if you’re the kind of person that would be excited to find a Real Kids record or some old Rip Off stuff, you can’t get much better. The selection is small, but the quality is high – a plus in my book. I hate browsing through the same old dull Talking Heads records at places like Wuxtry. If you’re looking for punk, especially old punk, this should be your first stop in Atlanta. Owner is a great guy with good taste and recommendations. Honestly, this is the only place a real«collector» should go. No other store in town has any real«finds» like this place. If I had one complaint it would be that they don’t exactly abide by their hours. But if you catch them, it’s well worth it.

Reactionary Records is a small record store near the heart of East Atlanta. They don’t have a huge selection of vinyl — and CDs are almost nonexistant — but most of what they have is of pretty good quality. The emphasis is on rock and they give special attention to local acts, past and present. The reggae/dub section is noteworthy too — again, not a ton to choose from, but it’s all really good stuff. It’s worth checking out for any record collector.
