Really great space. I’ve been here a few times for events, but also, just to hang out and the DJ is great, more often than not, not to mention there’s an additional upstairs area as well. I havent gotten the chance to eat here yet, but I’ve heard the food is good.

It was OK. I must have come on the wrong night. Drinks were reasonable. Food was mediocre.

Went to SaBor on 5⁄23&6⁄3. On my first visit, my friend and I sat for 30 mins… since the watress paid us no attention. I was mainly there to see my friend that was Dj’ing that night. My food, 4 small chicken skewers and white rice took an hour to come out of the kitchen. There was only about 15 people in the whole place that night, most of which were not even eating. I was hightly dissapointed in the service. Thank goodness the DJ saved me with his song. This place does have potential, so I went back the next week… didn’t eat though.

I went to SaBor on a Saturday. The DJ was decent, but I want a DJ to blow me away with his/her musical selections, obscure blends, etc… There are two levels, but it’s a tad bit small… at least downstairs. You’ll definitely be rubbing elbows near the bar. Nice crowd. Seemed like everyone was over 21… but fresh out of college. 25 and up spots tickle my fancy a little more, but it definitely beats 18 and up. All in all it’s not a bad place to party if you’re with a group, but I wouldn’t just drop by on the spontaneous tip.

SaBor — Can’t wait to see your personality evolve in what I call Atlanta’s «secret pocket.» Places either Thrive(literally around the corner) or get put to «Bed»(remember that spot?) over here. Located across from Centennial Park SaBor is finding it’s niche and so far doing a good job at it. Hosting parties and private events almost regularly now on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, it’s emerging as an alternative to places like Verve, Sutra and the Peters Street traffic jam. Two levels to lounge and parlay. I went to a Diageo«after party» here enjoying some lovely Ciroc Vodka and to the transplanted Friday night happy hour from Rare(I am so sad it’s closed) where I watched Game 6 of the Hawks vs Celtics series. The bartenders were attentive on both occasions and the DJ on point, which made it worthwhile as the crowd was a little thin both nights. Who likes that wall to wall ambiance anyway? I don’t. I took a self guided tour my first time there and found some private areas with flat screens that made me think of nearby Stats Sports Bar and also a small outdoor 2nd floor patio. The décor is original and doesn’t seem to mimic any existing club. I couldn’t get a read on the patrons other than they were as hype about the DJ as I was! I’ve heard rumblings about a food menu emerging soon so we’ll have to see what that’s all about and update later.

I loved this spot!!! It really shouldn’t be slept on. I had an AMAZING time. It wasn’t too crowded. Great vibe… the place was nicely mixed with a late 20’s early 30’s crowd.(God, I can’t believe I’m part of the late 20’s crowd now) The bartenders were very attentive. The DJ was wonderful and to me that is was really makes or breaks a spot. Apparently its fairly new but I’m going to keep going unitl everybody else figures out about it.
