Slice Downtown

I am a GSU music student and Slice is conveniently located on the same block as my building. I’m glad because they offer great pizza and casual eat-​in. Slice also offers GSU students a $ 10 special for a large with one topping. The food itself seems to always fresh cooked and I have yet to experience a mistake or badly prepared pizza. You will wait longer here, don’t expect a quick in-​and-​out like you would at Rosa’s. I believe this is due to making pizzas fresh and not keeping tons of precooked slices sitting around. Would recommend, especially if you are a GSU music student.

Stumbled across this during the «snow storm» while in town and we are so glad we did. The ambiance was soothing, the staff comforting and the food, Devine. We loved it so much we ordered another to go.

Actually did a to-​go order from the brand new location that just opened at 75 Piedmont Ave. Unfortunately that location is not on Unilocal yet. Anywho, the chicken parm is amazing!!! As a Native New Yorker, I take my Chicken Parm very seriously and they definitely have done it justice!
The multiple chunks of fresh garlic in the sauce are guaranteed to keep vampires away from me for weeks!
So glad today is Sunday and none of my coworkers can see the mess I made on my desk and the sauce dripping down my arm.

My girlfriend works across the street from Slice, and I heard good things. Last night, I asked her to pick some up and bring it home for dinner!
I enjoyed my pizza. We ordered a 16″ with light cheese, extra sauce, and tomatoes on half of the pizza. For the most part, the followed these instructions. There was less cheese than usual but the pizza did need a little more sauce. The tomatoes were good and I wished I had requested them on the whole pizza.
The crust was good, but there was a little bit too much better that gave it a sharper taste than I’m used to. It wasn’t bad, but I usually like the crust to be a little less done. Still, I liekd the crust and thought that it was pretty good overall.
I think this would be a great place to get lunch or a few slices. They are probably a little bit overpriced for the size of the pizza you get, though. I would eat here again, but I think there may be better options for a full pizza. Still, I would definitely check this place out for lunch sometime. I’m sure the slices are excellent!

This place is great.
I work across the street, so Slice is one of my go-​to lunch spots, especially in inclement weather. I have never dined in, but have ordered a dozen of pick up orders through Eatstreet. This location is popular and has nice ambiance and a few outdoor tables.
I usually get custom pizza slices — light cheese, extra sauce, and sliced tomatoes and a side salad with their balsamic. Slice makes my pizza perfect, which is hard to find! I love their crust, and their chef is nice and accommodating.
I’ve also had the Honey Bee sandwich, which I would not order again because I didn’t care for the flavor of the chicken and it was heavier than I expected.
Everyone that works here is friendly and my orders have never been delayed — always ready within 20 minutes.
You can’t go wrong ordering a slice from Slice!

Grass caprese salad! 46 degrees it’s chilly in Atlanta lol. Wine was great and pizza was very fresh.

Not the best place to get pizza but if you are drunk and looking for a «slice» of pizza near by, the supreme pizza is mouth watering. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. There are tables, a couch to lounge on, and a fully stocked bar. Service is great, they just need to work on their pizza making skills a little more.

Was down from Nashville for a show at the Tabernacle. Ordered a mushroom pizza. Canned mushrooms Really? Sauce tasted like it was from a can. Cheese had really no flavor. Crust was good and the pizza was hot. maybe I should have ordered bread.
Red Hare beer was great. Service was great. The place is called Slice… slice of what?

While in the area I wanted pizza and beer. This was the location that caught my eye. Few blocks walk from my hotel. Was glad I stopped in. Service was quick. Server was nice. Was a pleasant experience. Nice atmosphere.

I had the pesto chicken spinach sundried tomato pie. It was perfect! Crust was just right! I’ll definitely be back!

Great little happy spot where the girls are running the show with smiles and good attitudes. Wanna bar bar? Go next door to Sidebar. Come here for simple food and drink with a fun crowd. And since there are only two places downtown that allow smoking, stop complaining about it here. Don’t lower your rating because of it, just check it off as a place you don’t go.

Really enjoyed going here last night! The food was really good! The atmosphere is very fun and new. Our waiter was very personable and very nice. My only complaint is they forgot my friends drink. Nothing horrible though. I would definitely return! I also love the location :)

Nous avions repéré ce charmant restaurant la veille qui est situé non loin de la grande roué près du parc central dans un quartier paisible et fort agréable.
Nous y sommes finalement allés hier soir le 4 juillet 2015 pour y souper.
Nous avons pu avoir une table à l’extérieur. Nous sommes assis dans une petite rue étroite sans circulation automobile où seulement quelques piétons passent près de nous de temps en temps. Ambiance romantique par excellence. Ça nous a semblé pas mal bruyant à l’intérieur mais cette atmosphère pourrait vous plaire tout dépendant de vos goûts. Nous préférons le calme dans notre cas et avons été comblés à ce niveau.
Christy T. était notre serveur et a été correct et fort aimable avec nous.
Nous avons arrêté notre choix sur une pizza suprême 12 pouces de 6 pointes à $ 16.95. Si vous avez très faim, une plus grande de 8 pointes saurait vous convenir.
Une pizza de style toute garnie et bien apprêtée qui nous a donné grande satisfaction.

Les gens qui sortaient du restaurant avaient tous de bons commentaires et semblaient satisfaits de leur visite.

Great little restaurant near our hotel. Nothing fancy but great food at a very reasonable price. Very nice, warm, cool place to hang out. If I worked in the area, it would be my place to have a beer after a long day at work. Breadsticks were fresh hot and the sauce was great traditional style. Very good service.

The pizza is excellent, cheesy and tasty. The crust was delightful! I usually leave behind the edges, but not this time. Laura and Mallory and the kitchen boys made the time spent here time well spent. Lots of beer and drink options too! Laura makes a mean mule :)

The food here was very good, and everything that me and my roommate ordered was delicious. I found out about this place on Groupon, although my roommate had been there before. I’m not one for dining in the same places children… Because I find them to be a nuisance at times, but they were all outside because there was smoking allowed inside. Not enough seating indoor so we were forced to sit outside. The weather was nice and the atmosphere was very chill but again with the children… Not something I want to be around.

I had a Groupon that I paid $ 12.00 for for $ 20.00. Due to what I received I overpaid! The pictures of the pizza on this site aren’t anything like the one I received. I’m unhappy A couple of the slices were partially empty; just pizza sauce!!! The slices in the middle’s dough was so thin you can’t even pick up the slice without falling apart. Please note: there is no parking for this place. You have to park on another street and feed the meter! I also taste something spicy when my pizza was suppose to be meatballs, pineapple & chicken. I’m allergic to spicyI would strongly recommend a different establishment. Usually with the Groupon’s discount I’m good but this was just to wrong! I admit I have not talked to management.

Pretty good pizza. Not amazing, not terrible, but just right.
Unfortunately, i had a pretty annoying mishap with a Groupon deal. Our waitress seemed to be a bit daft, and the manager had to come and help.
We had the pepperoni pizza and the bruschetta which was pretty good
You won’t lose anything by going here. Definitely go and you might discover something you love.

This location is right next to my «regular bar.» I picked up a voucher and a couple friends and I ate here before hitting the bar for a UFC fight. Of course, given the name, you can order by the slice.
I decided to try out two slices: pepperoni and loaded baked potato. Honestly, the pepperoni was just average. But the loaded baked potato was really something! Yum! I really would like to get that again. The slices were quite big and I could not finish off both of them. Another friend could only finish one of his slices.

Open late. Super cheap. Nice pizzas. Some decent beers.
This pizza joint is a quintessential student pub. Although full grown adults (they could have been students? Definitely not undergraduate students) were taking shots at the bar.
Our larger group of 8 were seated at a table near the bar. Our server took our drink and pizza orders before leaving us alone for the next 15 minutes or so when our pizza finally came out. In the meantime she was busy tidying up outside, and we didn’t see her around our table much.
We ordered two pizzas to share, although I only got the chance to try the one closest to me. I believe we ordered the baked potato pizza, which was quite delicious to the late night munching belly. I was grabbing my slice when all of a sudden the platter tilted over and slid three slices straight to the floor, taking my friends pants and another friends shoes as casualties. I think the server failed to place the the tin pizza tray properly over the pizza tin holder. My friend joked that we didn’t need to be eating so much pizza this late at night anyway, but it didn’t decrease our sense of disappointment…

While out with a friend, we decided to stop for pizza before heading back to Marietta. I Unilocaled «pizza» and this place was around the corner from where we were kicking it.
I’m more than sure we were not parked legally on the very narrow one way street (poplar street) but I parked there anyways. Lol, can’t tow us all right? Being the designated driver I only ordered a beverage and a slice of pizza (no beer for me :(), the waitress suggested the loaded potato pizza, I promised her that I will try the next time and went ahead and selected the supreme. The slices were huge the toppings were fresh, but to be honest, I have had better. My friend only ordered a few beers which annoyed me (we all should be eating-​lol)
I really like the ambience, very laid back feeling… dark, relaxing
Will we return??? Yes, if only to people watch-​some very interesting characters were headed to the bar next door. Lol
