We have all been to a Smoothie King at one point or another and it is usually a pretty standard experience. Kelly and I went here after attending a workout class Sunday morning. There were two young ladies working when we went. I used to go to this place a lot, so when we walked in, I knew exactly what I wanted. Kelly took some time to order. Let me point out that we were the ONLY people in the store at the time. If I could have taken a picture of these girls faces while Kelly was trying to decide what she wanted. They offered no help and looked disgusted. Well, it made me disgusted. We won’t be going back to this location. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it.

Yuck. Bad smoothies, Bad service. This is the Smoothie King off Monroe– I would suggest running FAR away. The same owner runs the other one off Piedmont and the one off Ponce. I would RUN far from these locations as they all have the same unfortunate problems. WHAT –and– WHY? Food poisoning. You may get sick. PLUS management is bad. The owner is rude and treats customers horribly… I’ve seen it time and time again. The owners bad attitude has trickled down to some of the management. I had to stop coming here from sickness– both from food and terrible customer service. PARKING: Parking here is a mess. Very small lot, very awkward in shape. I’ve seen accidents happen. (There’s lots more locations nearby– Northside &10th for example, and places like Starbucks and Panera Bread(across the street in Ansley Mall) have delicious smoothies too).

Not only did my smoothie taste very off(SUPER sweet, and I ordered a greek yogurt smoothie) but YOUWILLGETBOOTED. Whoever owns that parking lot is a total asshole. And they are watching you from their car, and if you try to call and explain yourself you WILLBEYELLEDAT. Went to smoothie king and bought a medium smoothie and my boyfriend went in to flying biscuit. Realized I had his card and ran in to give it to him. Less than a minute in another store after making a purchase at smoothie king and I had $ 75 boot on my car. I paid for my smoothie BEFORE it was made and my receipt was still only 7 min old when I found a boot on my car! Not worth the risk, just go to the Ponce De Leon location.

Perfect location to go after a run in piedmont park. Look at the menu, customize your drink and walla you got magic! Customize your protien, calories and suppliments. Parking is limited and tricky so make sure you look both ways before exiting the lot. Forgot to mention staff is super friendly and nice.

Terrible service! I ordered a Angel Food which is the smoothie I ALWAYS order. It was clearly way too much protein in my smoothie. I let the worker know and he argued me up and down about how it’s the normal amount, etc. I couldn’t even drink the it. PLUS. They don’t take the scan cards at this location. I will NOT be going back!

I love smoothie king, especially after a run at the park. I went here today and got the usual — angel cake smoothie with soy powder(delicious)! This is the first time I went to this location. Really fast, considering I was the only person in the store, but the cashier was a little bit stand offish… especially after I asked about the Smoothie King app(she didn’t say anything and just pointed to this paper about it). A little rude, but whatever. At the end of the day, my smoothie was delicious! –CDC

I just went to the store on 1572 Piedmont Ave. NE Atlanta GA because my wife who is 23 weeks pregnant would not keep anything down and only wanted Smoothie King at 8:30pm. So I drove 20 minutes to this location and arrived 10 minutes before 9pm. I went into the store and the two ladies in the store told me they were closed. I asked why they were closed when the business hour says they open til 9pm. One lady said«It has been 9 pm and I don’t know how you got in cause I locked the door». I said it is 10 til 9pm, and the other lady said their register shows it was 9pm and she has already done her cup count. I explained to them I had to drive 20 minutes and try to get something for my pregnant wife, but they didn’t care. In the mean time, other people came and had to turn away too. I can’t believe this type of customer service!!! They need to fix their clock on the register and improve their attitude.

This is a blend of my and my daughter’s opinion. 3 from me as it is a healthy product, but I don’t get $ 5 for a shake — definitely a head shaker. 5 from her; she loves them. Now that she earns money($ 8 an hour babysitting), I have walked her through the analysis — «Do you really want to have spent ~40 minutes wiping asses and watching brats to pay for a smoothie?» «Yep.»

My sister was driving home tonight and I was starving but she didn’t want to sit down somewhere to eat. So coming down Piedmont I saw the Smoothie King. We passed it– I made her take a U-turn and head back. Thankfully we had made it with 10 minutes to spare. I have not been in a Smoothie King for years(because the one near my house closed down), so I was excited to go in. Very clean, and the lady who helped us was very friendly. Large menu on the wall, order(I got the muscle punch king sized, like the good old days), and get a receipt. Look around at the products for sale and wait until they call yoru name– pay at the next register and voila! The prices have gone up over the years(i guess expected), but it tasted just as great as I remembered. It was definitely a healthy meal replacement! I am glad we stopped by, I will be sure to come back more often!
