So there might be some guys here to comment on your selection or also for some spare change(bring a card if that concerns you) but it’s atlanta and that happens almost everywhere. Its small and might not have thay new one and only liqour(whoever drinks that stuff) but really decent selection for your drinking standards, everything besides beer and wine are behind a glass so just ask Attendant if you’re looking for anything. They also are nice, they remember me after a few times and look out for you as well. Good prices especially for being downtown. Happy this place is near by, same bottle of Jameson 31 $ up the street and changes from 25 $-28 $ here. Always have special tags too with included shot glasses and other features. All and all happy with this place

I went in here last night with my boyfriend after he decided it was time to hit up the shady looking liquor store just minutes from our house. There are bars on the window and I think a guy was already drunk when he walked out of the shop, but it was decent on the inside. Don’t expect a cornucopia of booze. The selection is small but all right for those who don’t want to fight traffic getting into Tower a few miles down the street.

«I’m a born-again hooligan!» That is one of the many colorful proclamations hollered during my brief visit to Southeast Package Store last night. I was at a house show and had been sent to fetch more beer. «Girl, you got the good taste in beer,» a second patron commented on my Yuengling 12-pack. «You lookin’ nice tonight.» «Ooo, can I drink with you tonight?» a third man yelled while I flung myself into my car. Southeast Package Store carries the beverage I needed and luckily also staffs an in-house police officer.

As the 3 stars suggest SE Package Store is pretty typical for a Moreland liquor store. The store is relatively small, but they have made pretty good use of the available space. Their inventory, which includes wine, liquor, beer, mixers, and soft drinks wouldn’t impress even a casual drinker, but they do have a little bit of everything. On the downside, most of their bottles are on the smaller side(200ml, 375ml) — because no one likes to walk aimlessly down Moreland with a 750 or a 1.75 I guess. I don’t mind stopping by here if I need something basic but I usually get my beer at the Edgewood Kroger(excellent selection) and my liquor at either Tower(Moreland and Memorial) or Green’s in Midtown. The only reason I shop at SE is its geographic proximity to my house — always helps when you can walk to your neighborhood liquor store.
