Came here on a Friday night. Really good spot to watch the game. Nice beer list and crispy chicken wings. Staff are friendly and do a good job at handling big crowds of people. I don’t know all the details about it but it was cool seeing that some people could pour their own draft beer at their tables. The rooftop space was nice in the evening. Would definitely come back!

Oh Stats… the only reason we went was because it was within walking distance from our hotel and kid friendly… it’s your typical bar food. I had the dirty bird and was a tad disappointed in the sandwich many because it’s just a Luke warm hot chicken. Being from Nashville I don’t look to eat hot chicken when I go to other states lol. So that was disappointing especially since I asked our waiter if it was hot chicken… he apparently doesn’t know what hot chicken is. The upside to that sandwich was I ordered the orzo salad which was light and fresh which was a perfect side to such a heavy sandwich. If you go get the orzo! My husband and dad had the heavy weight and they shared it. They enjoyed it ok but my husband said the food was nothing to write home about and he wouldn’t go back. The smashed potatoes or whatever were mediocre as well. We definitely wouldn’t go back for food. The server was really nice but said he was super busy and crazy… which is weird seeing as it was a Sunday night and the place was almost completely empty. We had to ask another waiter for our bill and to take the payment because ours disappeared. The server that took our bill definitely looked annoyed which led me to believe that our server was often missing and this guy had to cover his tables. My dad said at one time he was pretty sure he saw our server watching the game at the bar… real busy. Anyway if you wanna go for drinks I’m sure it’s a great place. They have a rooftop bar that looks nice too. But save money and eat elsewhere.

Went to Stats to get a quick bite to eat while in Atlanta. It’s not your typical sports bar. It has tons of Televisions to watch your favorite game but it’s not too loud where you can’t have a conversation. We decided to go with wings to gauge the food. The wings came out fast, hot and crispy. Also ordered a Moscow Mule and a Stella which was on point. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to hang out or watch a game in Atlanta!

Pretty cool sports bar. I loved the rooftop seating. The roasted red mashed potatoes were amazing! I had a burger with pepper jack cheese, pico de gallo, and jalapeños — spicy but tasty! The Dirty Bird is a must try — it’s a perfectly fried chicken breast sandwich paired with Sriracha mayo. It’s a good spot for groups and American bar food — wings, nachos, burgers, and beer. Gotta get the 120 ounce beer thing too!

For a sports bar so close to the Hall of Fame and to Philips… it’s pretty bad. Wings were pretty good, other than that, I probably won’t come back. The Hawks were playing and neither of our beer taps worked at our table, waitress was bad and food was blah.

. Great food. The bartender made us a specialty Sangria made with Kettle One which was OFFTHECHAIN!!! My salmon was cooked to perfection topping my flavorful Ceasar Salad. My co worker enjoyed the Chicken Nachos. Also, great place for game nights. Nice décor, Very spacious and there are plenty of flat screens everywhere.

Absolutely ridiculous. I came in this bar to watch Kobe play his final game with my jersey on and am absolutely disgusted by the customer service at this place. Unilocal informed me that the bar closed at 11pm so I inquired with the hostess about whether the restaurant would stay open for the game. She informed me that they would. We then sat in the restaurant for over 20 minutes just to have the waitress to tell us that we wouldn’t be able to watch the game because the restaurant was closing!!! The manager comes over and WITHOUT apologizing confirms that the restaurant is closing. I explained that the hostess informed us that they were staying open for the late games. Still no apology. WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. I won’t be back. There is a Taco Mac and a Hudson Grill just blocks away. Don’t waste your time or über on this place.

The food was good but the service was terrible. The food runners were rude, slamming plates down at our table. The waitress forgot to give us silverware and napkins. We never received our appetizer. To sum it all up I would just order my food carry out!

Great atmosphere at Stats and the food is always good. Love the old rustic, industrial good that has been exceptionally preserved. Tons of TVs with games on all the time. The roof top is beautiful as well.

Three stars for a great place to share a drink with a few friends. Do you like beer?! Enjoy the beer garden with your friends and frenemies! I came for the wings and I left fairly disappointed. I so wanted to indulge in some of Atlanta’s best BBQ, so I ordered the hot wings, and my friend ordered the kung fu wings. Both entrees were flavored well enough, but the wings were fairly dry and not especially meaty. It was extremely underwhelming. The worst part was the service. When we arrived it was kinda slow and our waiter wasn’t great. But he wasn’t bad. Once it got busy we were left waiting for quite some time. It took 20 minutes to get our check after we asked. We almost forgot we had a waiter. That being said, the hostess was extremely nice. Also, the specialty cocktails we ordered were delicious. Overpriced? Yes. Alcoholic? Mildly.

From what this restaurant claims on their website, I was led to believe I would experience a premier sports bar experience, but after visiting this restaurant for dinner, I came to the conclusion that I can get a much better sports bar experience at many sports bars in the suburbs or even at some other downtown Atlanta locations I have been to. They advertise five bars on their website, but when I went on a Sunday evening I only found one bar, and all the seats were taken. The upstairs was reserved for a private event and the lower level was closed. I asked about sitting at some high tables around the bar but were told they were reserved. I therefore had to get a seat in the main dining area(not around the bar). There were several screens around. One near me was playing a basketball game, but it switched to local news shortly after. I thought this was a sports bar. I think the channel was just set to the local CBS affiliate and they didn’t change it when the news came on. The other screens were all playing the same game, except for one that had a hockey game. For a diner in the main restaurant, therefore, there is not much variety of viewing experiences. There was no audio playing from any game. I didn’t see that the food or drink redeemed the restaurant much. I had the dirty bird sandwich, which I have no complaints about, but there was nothing exceptional about it compared to other similar chicken sandwiches I have had elsewhere. It had a fairly large deep fried chicken breast with a very crunchy breading on it. For a side, there are a few choices other than fries, and I asked for the orzo salad, which is a cold type of rice salad that was a little on the creamy side. A big disappointment, though, was the beer selection. There weren’t any craft beers of note in their menu. The highlights were Terrapin Hopsecutioner, Goose Island IPA, and Sweetwater 420. The remainder of the draft beer options were standard beers like Bud Light. There were not any unusual or out of the ordinary craft beers as I have ordered at many other sports bars(or if there were, they were not posted on the menu or disclosed by the server). They advertise taps at the table, but I didn’t see many tables with this option. I noticed that the table near me with taps had a bud light tap and a shock top tap, neither of which is a beer I would want. The taps on the table seems to me a little bit of a gimmick — who needs it if you have prompt service in refilling your pints?

Stats has been around for ages, but it’s one of those places that I’d never bothered to visit before. Ten times out of ten, whenever I’m on Marietta St on foot with company, we inexplicably end up going a little bit further down and to Der Biergarten. But on this particular afternoon, a das boot of beer didn’t sound that appealing, and the want for some more sustenance other than a ridiculously large pretzel made Der Biergarten not necessarily the logical choice. So, to Stats we went. Allow me to paint the picture of the time in which I visited Stats for the very first time: * Sunday afternoon * Before post-church crowd * In late-January, the presumed«slow period» for tourism * Not football season * NBA doesn’t play until evenings * No notable events at Georgia Dome, GWCC or Centennial Olympic Park * Did not drink any booze I wanted to disclose such criteria, because knowing the area, absolutely no promises can be made to anyone else who visits Stats under differing criteria will get the same positive result that I received, because given the area, businesses and the surrounding area are subject to such fluctuation(s) as: * Hellacious traffic * Inaccessibility * Gauged parking * Monumental wait times * Happy hour crowds, sports fan crowds, tourist crowds * Fixed menus * Slammed and overwhelmed restaurant staff None of this should be that much of a surprise, so if you find yourself in a similar situation in which I visited, you might have as equally of a relaxed and well-serviced lunch, but if you decide to come in the midst of college bowl/NFL season, or some major conference/convention, then I make no promises that you will have as pleasing of an experience. Stats is located at the corner of Marietta and Baker streets, which puts them a stone’s throw away from such notable city landmarks such as the Georgia World Congress Center, the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke and the Civil Rights Museum, as well as Centennial Olympic Park. Slightly further, but still in the right vein are Philips Arena and the Georgia Dome. Needless to say, their business comes primarily from sports fans, tourists, conventioneers, surrounding businesses, or all of the above. There is absolutely nowhere nearby where parking is free, and depending on when you come, it can range from anywhere from $ 5−20+ based on what events may or may not be occurring in any of the surrounding landmarks. Unlike lots of places in the city, Stats is somewhat reasonably close to MARTA accessibility, be it on the Philips Arena/GWCC stop, or 3 – 4 city blocks down from Peachtree Center, following Baker Street towards the Aquarium. Anyway, being a relaxed Sunday afternoon, my group and I walked into Stats an hour after they had opened. Given how empty the place was, I almost thought they weren’t open, but there was still a hostess up front, and we were seated immediately. The emptiness shouldn’t be indicative of the quality of the food and service, so much as it was the time and criteria in which I visited; frankly, I prefer beating rushes and getting into places early, as opposed to having to wait egregious times just to be seated. Service was polite and attentive throughout the entire experience, and I guess I’ve been having a bad string of service lately, because I found myself especially impressed by the service staff’s ability to anticipate refill needs and bringing them; without having to flag anyone down. Being a sports bar, I was pleased to find out that the staff, at least the server I had, understood the Joe Namath«guarantee» reference, in relation to the Joe Namath-namesake wrap they have on the menu. I’d most certainly have judged them with disdain had they not. I ordered their club sandwich, and what they brought me, for $ 11, seemed like an absolute steal. It’s a fairly standard club, so it’s got the usual goodness, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, a little bit of mayo on toasted sandwich bread. It’s generously sized, and they’re graciously not stingy on the turkey. The sandwich alone is more than filling, but with a side of fries, it’s a very hefty portion of food, which I’d rather have instead of something leaving me jonesing for more. Overall, I had zero complaints about my Stats experience, but again, I know that the circumstances in which I visited aren’t the most commonly available, given the fact that outside of January, there are usually lots of things going on in the surrounding landmarks that could have increased the traffic. The atmosphere is pretty modern, and full of televisions for watching sports, and not as overly trendy as I thought it was going to be. The service was friendly and attentive, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The menu is small, but full of decent options, and the club sandwich I had was a fantastic bang for the buck. Personally, I can’t say that I’d come during a game/convention time, but under this visit’s circumstances, most certainly would consider.

I’ve ventured out to Stats many times downtown, always for work functions. This marks my 5th trip here. It’s a semi easy walk from the Dome, Philips Arena, CNN Center, College Football Hall of Fame or Ga Aquarium. It’s not necessarily a place I’d take my son but it doesn’t seem non kid-friendly. The atmosphere here is really cool and the music on this occasion was 80s(that’s a plus). With the tvs going, surprised they had music playing since this is a sports bar. This bar is a few steps above your typical sports bars, thanks to the metered beer taps on the tables(no need to ask for a refill). They do have a bonus room downstairs that my company has rented out before(pool table, darts) but not sure if it’s still there. Pardon me for not checking again. We sat down and got queso dip for the appetizer. The queso was great but the chips were semi greasy and the salsa was not anything spectacular. My food, Jorge’s Nachos, was massive. For the price, you get a ton! However, I was not thrilled with the taste. Lackluster and average for nachos. Our service was stellar, especially for a group of 15. Can’t say I’ve had bad service yet here so that’s a huge plus. Parking is tricky, as you will have to utilize the parking deck across the street and I don’t think they validate since this is smack downtown. Overall, great place for beer and atmosphere but the food isn’t the greatest. In fact, I’ve yet to come on my own outside of work.

Sports bar meets a trendy restaurant. A fun place to hang out for any crowd. Whether you are having a boys/girls night out or wanna watch a game while enjoying good food then this is surely your place to be. The service is efficient and the servers were very friendly. The menu has a lot of options, and that’s where it’s more than just a sports bar. They do have friend chicken but they surely add a twist to the southern favorite. It’s the Dirtybird sandwich, friend chicken coated with spicy and flavorful crust. The portion sizes are quite adequate so leaving hungry isn’t a possibility. They have lots of salad options. As for another entrée recommendation, do try the Trophy Chicken; it’s grilled chicken with sweet & tangy sauce. They have a full bar along with a nice wine list. The bar is the main highlight with countless tv screens showcasing different games. They also have Tvs around the dining area so if you don’t wanna be close to the bar yet want to enjoy your game you surely can. Back to the food; for the side options I tried the Orzo salad, the French fries and the sweet potato fries, but I have to say the French fries were the best. Though if you are trying to eat healthy the orzo cold salad is quite scrumptious as well. The place is perfect for work lunch as its close to downtown area but yet a bit further from the crazy traffic. Parking is right across and they validate.
