Cute shop in the heart of East Atlanta Village. Items inside are a bit hit or miss. Prices can be crazy sometimes as in ridiculously overpriced. What’s really bananas is that the store carries some of the same things as the store next door and will carry very different prices. I still stop by every now and again, even though I think it’s odd that in this lovely SOUTHERN city, in the heart of what it is still an African American community, you can rarely find a size above 4, maybe six in this store. Who knows maybe the girls with curves arrived RIGHT before I did, EACHANDEVERYTIME. :-)

This place seemed cool from the outside, and when I first walked in but, after really sifting through everything, there weren’t any pieces that were really all that cute to me. Everything is expensive, but you’ll just end up looking like you shopped at Wet Seal. I’m a bargain shopper, unless it’s to die for, or if it’s something of high quality and/or classic that will last me for years to come. None of the expensive pieces there fit that description. This place primarily sells clothes that will be out of style next year. I did buy a dress there once because I was in a rush looking for something to wear to a wedding. I didn’t think it was that cute when I bought it, which is totally my fault. But I couldn’t even find anything! I just don’t see a justification for such high prices, when none of the stuff is original looking, nor high quality(maybe the jeans are?).

While sitting outside eating dunch at the EARL, this ridiculously drunk girl took about three steps out of the EARL and bit it so hard on the sidewalk we all rushed over to see if she was okay. And it was one of those terrible wipeouts where your skirt goes up and you flash your big gramma panties to a large crowd. I have never seen someone so wasted at 3 pm in the afternoon that they cannot even walk unaided. OKAY, the whole reason I am telling you this story is because it directed my eyes to a cluster of stores across the street I haven’t been in. So after we ate my sister and I walked over to Sugar Britches. The window display had the cutest little dresses in it so we had to take a peek inside. The store is teeny tiny, but the clothes are pretty darned cute. The dresses ranged from totally affordable, to ugh, that is ALMOST too much, but yeah, I’m just going to get it because it’s that cute! They also sell jeans, jewelry, and they have a small corner of clothes for guys. I’m glad that drunk girl wiped out or I wouldn’t have a cute new dress right now! Thanks, drunky!
