The service here has really gone down hill. I will stick with going to Buffalo Wild Wings. The wings I got were burnt. The burger I ordered was event remotely done. Maybe they can’t handle the large crowd they had for the NBAGAME7 finals game

Honestly the worst dining experience of my life. I love taco Mac and brought my girlfriend from England here. We waited 45 minutes for food, which was cold when it arrived… also 45 minutes for a drink refill. Serving staff were rude. There was no apology until we asked to speak to a manager. There will be no return visit to this location

This place sucks. I try to highlight the better aspects of a business, but I’m so consistently let down by this location. Every staff person here acts like you’re a total pain in their a$$. Food takes over 45 minutes and drinks take over 25 minutes. We have had to walk to the bar ourselves and ask for water or various drinks AFTER we order them from a waiter or waitress. I live .3 miles from here so I give it chance after chance after chance, and it is always awful.

This particular taco mac needs some operational work. The service is bringing down the great food. I went recently at 10:30 at night after getting in from out of town so the place was not that crowded. We ordered a couple beers and chips and queso. The food came out quickly although half the chips were stale. The beers took a good ten minutes. I thought she had gone home to brew it herself. With the bar so big and it not being crowded, I did not understand the delay. She offered us more chips and salsa as we waited but it never came out which is probably okay since the first batch were subpar. Our food came out and the order was correct but it seemed as if the waitress had a rule where she would not bus the table. Our queso was finished and she never cleared the plates even when the food came out and we scrambled to move the dirty plates for her so she could put the food down. She never refilled the water. My boyfriend ordered another beer and I was ready for one too and she never asked me so I shouted after her! Well, I probably didn’t need it since it took another 15 minutes to get the beer. As we still were eating, had the dirty plates on the tables, were waiting for the beers, and no water, the waitress comes by and asks if we want to see the dessert menu. Wait, what? At the end of the night, we were convinced there is a rule that the waitress can’t pick up dirty plates. Check out the photo of the pile of plates, bones, and napkins– it actually was impressive. Even the amount of Tvs in the place couldn’t distract us from the stack of crap on our table. I think the staff needs to not hang out in the kitchen for social hour and pay attention to the patrons at their tables. I typically go to the original Taco Mac in the highlands and NEVER had a bad experience. Taco Mac gods please help this location!

I don’t EVEN want to know what they feed those chickens… the wings were wings on steroids to say the least! Both the food and atmosphere were great. My server was awesome. He actually high-fived me at one point during the conversation. He made the meal that much more enjoyable. I would’ve given five stars, but for the fact that I ordered my wings mild + honey bbq. He misunderstood and thought I was doing a split order, but I actually wanted them to mix the two sauces together. No biggie. I didn’t complain and just ate them as they were. I will definitely go back again!

Roasted wings initially were not cooked all the way. But Jazz too one look and took care of me. The new drink Victory Dirtwolf was the best this time around. Coming back as usual.

So this is the first«new and improved» T. Mac that I’ve been to, and I’m definitely impressed with the atmosphere. It’s definitely an upscale Sports Bar now. There is a TV in every possible place in the restaurant(including the bathrooms), and there is A LOT of seating. There is also a Patio area for large groups, etc. When it comes to food, the menu holds up well and it’s always consistently good, except the oven baked Macaroni & Cheese… that was not good at all, but it’s hard for any restaurant to have really good Mac N Cheese. The lemon pepper wings are my favorite. I’m hoping they will upgrade the midtown location(where I frequent). Otherwise I’ll be going to this one more often!!!

First time visiting a Taco Mac. Overall the wait was short, service was quick, and food was good… Great watching the games on ample supplies of tvs… I saw a sign that said free 6 piece wings if the Hawks win… They lost again the Celtics … I’ll be back again. Overall great experience!

Raw wing. I love taco mac but come on. I will go back to give them a chance because the are the closet to me… but I might end up having to find another location. My tacos were great! Service was slow. Server kind of blah. It was only the one wing raw but I ate all my wings and saved the biggest for last and couldn’t even eat it. Hope this issue gets resolved.

I still come back to Taco Mac for the wings, the beer selection, and the TVs, but our visit there tonight was an operational dumpster fire. We were seated as a party of 5 — my wife and 3 kids under 7 years old. I showed them my «Brewniversity» membership card — another perk of coming to Taco Mac for over 10 years is that I have enough credits in that program that every pint of beer gets automatically upgraded to a 20 oz pour. We quickly ordered a large queso(plain cheese dip, comes with chips), and drinks. After a somewhat long wait, they bring out their chili con queso(not the queso we ordered — it has meat, peppers, and other stuff my kids don’t prefer). I guess this is better than the time last year when I ordered queso and they brought guacamole, but that’s not saying much. The server understood our concern and fixed it. My beer came out much later than everyone else’s drinks. In a 16 oz glass. If I’m coming back for the loyalty program, I want my 20 oz free upgrade. I tell the server, she leaves the smaller beer on the table and works on fixing it, eventually brings back a 20 oz pour. Except it’s a different color from the first, and I didn’t change my order. So somehow, ordering the same beer twice from the bar can get you different beers. Even my wife, who doesn’t like beer, tasted both and agreed they were different. That shouldn’t even be possible. Our food arrives — well, most of it. The kids’ food is spot on. My wife ordered a burger and sweet potato fries. They bring out regular fries instead, and then set about making that right. They tell me mine will be out in a few minutes — the roasted wings take longer. To their credit, 15 minutes later, the chef comes out, personally apologizes that he dropped the first plating of my meal and had to make it again, and tells us my meal is on him. Solid, honest move, and almost enough to earn a 3rd star. My food does come out and it’s good. It always is. 3 Mile and Buffalo Hot roasted wings with onion rings. My wife’s bacon burger is solid, and both kinds of fries are good. One reason we went there tonight was that it is the 2nd round of the NCAA basketball tournament. When we arrived, there was only 1 game being played, so I wasn’t surprised to see it everywhere with a bit of golf and tennis here and there. When the second game came on, they were asleep at the wheel. I stared at a wall of 5 TVs, where one was showing tennis and the other 4 showing the same game. When a 3rd simultaneous game came on, nothing changed. There are SO many TVs in the place, and it is obviously a sports bar, so it blows my mind that during a huge sports weekend, nobody is paying attention to shuffle the TVs and give everyone the view of March Madness that they came for. I used to LOVE Taco Mac. Now, I long for it, but with a mild dread. Something is clearly and horribly wrong with their operations and processes, in ways that cost customers and their servers time, and costs them money in serving people the wrong food. It’s been clearly downhill since 2012 when they took on a private equity partner to help them grow. This is when the bizarre and ill-advised name change to «T.MAC» happened(which sounds like the cool nickname you try and give yourself and your friends don’t bite). That apparently went badly enough that they added a bunch of tacos to the menu and have mostly changed the name back. The food quality is still good. The processes aren’t. The disconnect between what customers order and what shows up at the table is utterly bizarre. I hope they can fix it, but after 3.5 years under this ownership, I am quite skeptical.

I really hate doing bad reviews but this experience worthy of noting– The owner of this place needs to regroup and start over. Horrible, horrible, horrible service and no food after 2 hours tonight. Not to mention the manager, who acknowledged the error and offered to comp the meal, said our food order was in and after another 30 min we still had no food and the manager would not come back out to the table. We ended up leaving after waiting another 10 for the manager. This is not my first bad experience here, last time I came they had no silverware available. The time before that I waited for 1.5 hrs to receive our food, for which the server offered to comp one of the plates. I should have never come back after those experiences, but I did bc I happen to like their food so I’ve been giving them the benefit of the doubt. I really really hope they get it together they are not a good representation of the franchise.

Ok so I gav this place a 2nd try & hav vowed 2 never go bak. I sat @ the bar this time. Lauren presented me w/a pop-tent piece of paper w/her name & Evelyn stating they were the bartenders. While Evelyn took care of EVERY male patron @ my end of the bar Lauren disappeared 2 the other end. Never once did either ask how my food was or if I needed anything. I ordered a Ceasar salad & it was really good believe it or not! Looks like they changed the menu since I was there last so I had a hard time deciding what 2 order. I settled on a Buffalo Burger w/a black bean patty instead of beef. Not that hard, right? There was a dab of buffalo sauce on the bun, no blue cheese crumbles & once again cold fries. I’m convinced they cook fries every 15 mins or so & n between cooking they sit under a heat lamp. The black bean patty was so thin & dry. The worst that I’ve ever had. There r tons of other quality eateries n the area & I suggest u go spend yr coins elsewhere. I want 2 thank corporate tho 4 reading the reviews & trying 2 right the wrongs of their frontline employees! Yr the ONLY reason I went bak. Thanks 4 the gift card!

We stopped on our way out of town for the holidays. Although it was crowded, we were seated much quicker than I thought we would on a Friday night. Our server was very attentive, and made sure we were well-stocked with drinks. My wings were cooked just right. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

I am a Taco Mac regular as they generally do the bar foods great and never any complaints from me. Services at this particular location was a little below average for the other taco macs I have been too. Although will give them credit was a play off game and the were swamped and doing their best. I would recommend but maybe not if you are starving and looking to get your food fast with a packed house. Overall tho a ok experience.

Friends that live in Atlanta brought me here the night I arrived. The facility is very nice and is located in a modern shopping district. The interior is modern, with televisions everywhere so you don’t miss a play. It was Monday night, early, and we were seated immediately as the restaurant was not full. The waitress brought two glasses of water and the menus and promised to return with a third glass for me. Ten minutes later she showed up with the third glass. We ordered and the food arrived after a while and it was good. I especially liked the Mexican Street Corn that was served on the side. The different tacos I ordered were also good in an American-Mexican way, not the authentic Mexican way. But hey, we were a long way from Mexico so I was cool with that. After we received our food, it was a long long while until we saw the waitress again, and we were definitely ready to leave. I am not sure if it was because we all ordered water and no alcoholic beverages or another reason, but the waitress should know to check on us shortly after we receive our orders to make sure the food was ok and then periodically after that.

I have no issues with the service a this location. My issue is with the quality of the food served. We(my wife, my daughter and I) visited this location after a good evening at the Cobb Energy Centre. The place was quite empty. We were seated quickly and our server took our order quite promptly ad the food was served in reasonable time. All well and we came out happy and content. The issue was the day after when we all woke up sick. I had the same issue with the other location of Taco Mac in Dunwoody and thought it was just me but not after this incident.

The hardest decision was to give this place 1 star or 2 stars. I rarely give 1 stars, but T. Mac comes pretty close. This T. Mac is same as any other T.Macs. They have a huge, mediocre menu. I don’t think they have one good item on their menu. I have no idea how people can eat here. Most of the items on the menu is inedible in my opinion. But I did find something that was edible. It was their fried calamari. Maybe it’s because I love squid that they have to screw it up big time for me to hate it. I liked the sauce it came with. It had a nice, popcorn-shrimp like flavor to it. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill. The service was pretty crappy. We came with a big group and the server acted pretty intense and aggressive. I think he was stressed to serve a huge table. He wasn’t friendly at all. He worked hard but wasn’t pleasant. He also didn’t pay attention who ordered what and forgot a bunch of stuff. I ordered their steak fajita. I finished it, barely. It tasted so bad. The meat was tough as cardboard. The tortilla it came was cold. I don’t know why they even wrapped it in foil. I’m sure they meant it to be toasty. But it was cold. The fajitas came with guacamole that had a weird, sour flavor to it. Its pico had a sour taste to it too. When I say sour, it had a bad, citrus like flavor to it. It sucked. Their beans was also crappy. It tasted like it came right out of the can. Maybe they microwaved it for a few seconds. I don’t know. Since I actually enjoyed their calamari, I’ll give it an extra star. But I would avoid this place at all costs. Do not go here. It’s probably the worst food I had in a long time.

Well where do I begin? This T. Mac location spent too much money on the snazzy inside instead of hiring people with excellent customer service skills! The hostess greeted us immediately and took us right to our booth. The waiter came quickly but kind of rushed us to order. We ordered two tacos and a 10 piece. The food came out pretty quick. The tacos umm what can I say??? My 14 yr old daughter could have made tacos with better flavor. The buffalo chicken taco had lots of flavor BUT extremely too much celery and barely any hot sauce. The mango shrimp taco was completely raw. It was gross, I sent it back and ordered the steak fajita taco. It was brought out by a women I believed to be a manager. she dropped the new taco, picked up the old one and left. I took one bite and pushed it away. It was soggy, dripping everywhere, piled high with onions BUT no seasoning and no flavor! The waiter nor the manager ever came back to see if the remake was better. Our waiter showed more interest and attention to the table behind us which was full of younger women. He didn’t even ask if we needed anything else. Instead he slapped the check on the table while chit chatting with the booth behind us about doing whatever he could to make their food right. He even came to clear our table saw I hadn’t touched the 2nd taco but never asked about it. I gave 2 stars bc the wings were on point! The hostess were attentive and polite. We will try the location again maybe idk probably a to go order.

GOTOTHEPRADALOCATIONINSTEAD. This Taco Mac REALLY let us down this time … Therefore, this will be our last visit to this store… We have been TMac fans for many years… We have visited so many of their establishments and this location is THEWORST Taco Mac we have ever gone to. SERVICEISHORRIBLE — we went for 30 minutes without any drinks, not even water. I asked for a supervisor, and he offers us chips and cheese dips for our trouble– I kindly said no, and he STILLBROUGHTITOVER… We ate a couple of chips cuz our Food took another 30 minutes to come out, and when it did came out, ITWASCOLD at that point. My chicken tenders were also cooked in some old oil it seemed like. The best part of our plate was the blue cheese dip and the honey mustard dip. Also, they were out of the first beer we requested, and the other beers we ordered, which was the beer of the month, took 25 minutes to get to us. We requested to change the channel, which took 20 minutes for them to do, and when we asked for our check, it also took 15+ minutes … All in all, it took 2 hours for our whole meal. This is our second visit in this establishment, and the first visit was also terrible on the account they served us raw wings– the comp offered then was a side item which we didn’t care for. This time, the best way to compensate us for their several lists of mishaps is a basket of frakkin chips and quest dip. When I declined, and they still brought it over, they decided that was enough and charged us for the full bill. I had never in my life demanded compensation, but for the first time in my life, I had to go out of my way and demand for them to comp as better than a basket of chips we didn’t even eat. What a damn fiasco. We are absolutely beyond disappointed. The manager that came over was soft spoken and seemed apologetic enough, but obviously not sincere, and you guys have got to get your act together. I will definitely have to email corporate on such a terrible experience … Not just once, but TWICE in a row.

I stopped by with some friends after a late night movie. This was the only place that was really open by the time we got out of the theater. I’m not sure why I continue to subject myself to Taco Macs, but I do. This is a very new location. I hope that the service issues had more to do with the fact that they are new and not an indication of how things will be going forward. I ordered lemon pepper boneless wings with a side of mushrooms. I actually am not a fan of wings because they have bones in them. I have weird issues with food items that contain bones. I really like that they offer the option of wings without bones. Yes, I am fully aware that they are essentially chicken fingers with wing sauce on them. I am a-ok with that. I’ve found that the service is always bad at any Taco Mac location I visit. It never fails. Since we were there so late, the place wasn’t especially busy. There were tons of servers working that night. Yet, ours never ever seemed to walk by. It took a good 20 minutes to place our order. When the food arrived, we had no silverware. We had to ask another server to bring us utensils so we could actually eat our food. My water was never refilled. I had to get up and go to the bar to ask for a refill on my water twice. It took another 30 minutes to get our checks after we finished eating. All I wanted was a quick late night dinner after a movie. I ended up with a mediocre food experience that took almost 2 hours.
