When I first moved to Atlanta, this was my FAVORITE place to go to on a regular basis. Lately, when I have been going, the service isn’t as great and the food isn’t that great either. I don’t know what happened to the great atmosphere that I’m used to but it just seems as if it just went downhill. after my second bad experience with both service and food, I’m honestly not going to come back anymore. Thanks guys.

According to the words, eyes and ears of my fellow Atlantans, this Copeland’s location off Cumberland Bl. and Cobb Pkwy is THE premier place for brunch on Sundays. But the happy hour, especially with the ½ off appetizers and the cheap drinks are a REAL value compared to most places like it. The atmosphere was pleasant and the people here were friendly. There is plenty of parking available since it is attached to the Cobb Galleria. The spinach dip here is a must even though they give you more of the bowtie pasta and the dip runs out quickly. The server did her best to keep everyone happy even though she did not have much help. This Copeland’s location is a great place to spend time with friends as well as your significant other.

My family and I came here for brunch on a Sunday. We were a party of 7 so I thought that the wait would be really really long, however it wasn’t bad at around 35 minutes. I really really enjoyed it. Usually I loathe buffets but everything was fresh and they frequently replenished the food. All of the dishes were of great quality and there was plenty of variety from peel and eat shrimp, omelet station with a ton of ingredients, mac and cheese, chicken and prime rib. I will definitely return the next time that I am in the area.

Haven’t been here in a while but love the food, and the live jazz music was a nice touch. I enjoyed the music so much I kept in touch with the artist and even bought a few of his albums. I am a sucker of Cajun food in general so it’s always tough to not rate high when the food is on point. Making a day trip to the ATL soon and this will be on the eat list for sure.

Had Thanksgiving dinner buffet. Food was really, really good. I’m not a big stuffing person, but I had to go back for seconds. The turkey, ham was very moist. The fried turkey lacked the typical Cajun spiciness. Sweet potatoes needed the secret ingredient: orange juice. A must try is the Bloody Mary. Other than the pecan pralines, the desert table was not all that noteworthy. Would I go again? Sure! Doesn’t even need to be a holiday.

Consistently does it right! The happy hr ½ off apps and drinks are a value and AB& Wayne are excellent bartenders. There’s a lady bartender(Brittany I think) — she’s ok too. The Sunday brunch is superb with a great good selection and atmosphere of New Orleans dining in the French Quarters. The gentlemen with the black and grey beard needs to never work behind a bar ever. I can tell he was biased when serving me-not even shaking my martini, gave me a dirty menu, drinks were not made to spec and was very inattentive to my needs as a customer. However, he served the busty blondes and their male companions next to me like they were the president and First Lady. Then he did the Ultimate sign of disrespect when he brought me my check and slid it in front on me– Not in a check/credit card holder, Not in the glass, but flat on the surface. That’s pretty much equivalent to a service industry eff you. I’m a awesome tripper always 20% or better– but on this day I gave what I received 2%. In addition, if I ever come in again and he’s bartending– I guess I’ll grab a table or leave.

I finally got to try out their brunch buffet. I had a brunch date with one of my friends. The wait was about 45 minutes which I did not expect. I was hungry and wanted to cross this place off of my foodie list so leaving was not an option lol. I’m not sure if it was a football Sunday that added to the number of people or not. Once we were seated, we wasted no time in grabbing a plate to hit the buffet. The buffet was a very nice size with fixings ranging from breakfast to lunch type foods. I went for the breakfast food. I tried the cheese grits which were pretty tasty, bacon, linked sausage, and breakfast potatoes as my fist plate. I enjoyed everything. The options at the buffet also included peel and eat shrimp, fried fish, chicken tenders, jambalaya, and many other items. I had a made to order omelette that was filled with spinach, onions, mushrooms, and crawfish.

REVIEWFORSUNDAYJAZZBRUNCH: I’ll break this one down into categories… FOOD: A truly impressive spread with a variety of options for all tastes. Options included: waffles, french toast, made-to-order omelettes, chicken tenders(multiple flavors), gumbo, peel-n-eat shrimp, grits, eggs benedict, scrambled eggs, cajun scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, white chocolate bread pudding, bananas foster bread pudding, brownies, cookies, petit fours, and twenty other things I’ve forgotten. Everything was decent– I didn’t have anything I didn’t like, but there was only one thing that I «Mmmmm”-ed over, and that was the spicy peel n eat shrimp. Such great flavoring! ATMOSPHERE: What you’d expect from any higher-end chain restaurant: well decorated, nice lighting, but because of the crowd for Sunday brunch, it was a tight maze to get to the food. Every trip to the line took a few minutes of maneuvering. SERVICE: From the second we were seated, I felt that our waiter was ticked-off. And it showed in the way he took our food and drink orders(some people opted for menu options rather than buffet.) and in the end, the checks were a disaster on many accounts: one person’s was doubled(for no reason we could come up with), two people had drinks added that were not ordered, and one lady received no bill whatsoever. I’m sure the poor guy was just frazzled, but what a mess. PRICE: With tax and tip, you’re looking at a $ 30 brunch price tag(and that’s WITHOUT drinks of any kind.)

I love the Copeland’s on Cobb Parkway. If you go there ask for Donna. She knows the menu, sweet and courteous. The food mmmmm. My favorite is shrimp Po-boy. With the hurricane. Atmosphere is casual. And if you’re a Saints fan look out on the weekend that place is packed. They have a Saturday brunch for $ 15 and build your own bloody Mary. Enough said place speaks for itself!

This location served as a spot for a large graduation dinner. We had to wait a long time because it was the weekend and it was graduation weekend for many. Once we got settled, we had a nice setup of tables and place settings and we had our own room. The servers came to introduce themselves and immediately took drink and appetizer orders. From then on, service continued to be excellent. They took our entrée orders and got everything in very quickly and the service flowed well. For that large of a group, I think they did a great job. They even split checks in the end. The food was delicious and everyone seemed to enjoy their choices whether it was a seafood platter or steak. I will definitely go back.

Seating and service was timely. Not a large crowd to compete with on a Monday evening. The Corn & Crab bisque gets 5 stars while the burger entrée gets 1.5 stars. Since I’ve dined at Copelands before, I will say that this restaurant is good at cajun dishes and seafood, but more American-styled dishes such as the burger was a no-go. I asked for medium-well but it was cooked well and there was no flavor to the burger. The bisque made up for it!

This location is much better than the location in Atlantic station. The décor, the service, the cleanliness. It’s just better. I believe the food is New Orleans style so you have alot of seafood and alot of blackened dishes. They also have bread pudding, a New Orleans staple. My friend and I split the sampler platter appetizer that includes buffalo spring rolls, spinach dip, and bayou broccoli(fried broccoli). For dinner I had blackened chicken with the seasonal vegetables and a side of spicy mashed potatoes. My friend had the Jambalaya pasta. The buffalo spring rolls were waaay to crunchy and had way to much breading. I peeled one layer of fried crispiness off and found another layer of fried crispiness. It was tasty after that. The spinach dip was ok, it came with fried bowtie pasta stuffed with mozzarella cheese. Wasn’t expecting that. I didn’t try the broccoli but my friend said it was really good. I was shocked when my chicken came out and it was cut into pieces as if it were a child’s plate. I was also surprised that the seasonal vegetable was cubed sweet potato and potatoes with onion. If I had known that I wouldn’t have ordered the extra potatoes. Plus it comes with a biscuit. I’m a potato fanatic so I wasn’t too mad but geeeezz. Although I was hesitant, it was a delicious meal. I couldn’t eat half of it. We both had a to go box. Our server was super honest and helped us choose great options for dinner. Wish I remembered her name. Anyway, we were too stuffed for dessert but I will try that bread pudding one day!

Fathers Day; it was super busy! :-) Overall it was good, I’m just huge on hospitality and maintaining service, even if you’re swamped. LIKED — LIKED — LIKED — LIKED — LIKED Food was great Consistent Food Refills Warm Plates DISLIKED –DISLIKED — DISLIKED –DISLIKED The floor next to our table was soaking wet the entire time. I guess it was near the kitchen or soda area. They just put up a don’t fall sign but never moped it up . Lackluster service; no team work, not much hospitality.

Uhhhhh. Trying to get dinner in this area during the weekend without reservations is not fun. We waited 20 minutes for a table. Let me start by saying the $ 5.00 martinis were pretty good, and excellent value, because the food was not good and the service was barely acceptable. We started with the COPELAND’S FAVORITESSAMPLERPLATTER A sampling of our Artichoke and Spinach Dip, Bayou Broccoli®, and Buffalo Spring Rolls= $ 12.95 It was bland and unremarkable… akin to a TGIFriday’s or Appleby’s with less seasoning. The RIBEYE… Since 1983 Finest hand selected, 12 oz. Certified Angus Beef ®ribeye steak, 28 day aged, served sizzling witha complimentary side. $ 31.95…it was expensive and not yummy. Frankly, it was the worst steak I have eaten in a restaurant in over 2 years… it was oversalted/seasoned to the point where I could barely stomach it. There was an unacceptable amount of fat and gristle on the meat, it was overcooked and not tender… really quite flummoxed by how a «good» piece of steak can be prepared so poorly. Our server was attentive when she was around, I think she must have had many tables to take care of that evening… and that my West Coast brand of humor was probably too much for her. Won’t be back… ever.

I want to personally thank the staff at Copeland’s for their exceptional service and hospitality. We came her for my aunts 50th birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, they even joked about having us host their birthday party and events. We were provided of every necessity. I have been here for an individual setting as well, and they did the same. Great food, great atmosphere. This is a must in Georgia!

Great brunch!!! The French toast went fast & furiously… Many at the bar were complaining when they were all gone!!! I totally enjoyed a seafood omelet freshly prepared… Great salads, hot foods, and drinks! I had a crash and burn… Let’s just say I did that afterwards!!!

This review is only based on their brunch. I’ve been here twice for brunch on Sunday. First, they have $ 3 mimosas. Okay. now, on Sunday the wait is EXTENSIVE as ever. The first time my boyfriend and I came, we waited about a half hour. The next time I came here, it was a group of us(5) and while we were quoted a wait time of an hour and fifteen minutes, we weren’t seated for an hour and forty minutes. The wait time was CRAZY but after waiting so long. leaving seems like a waste. The food is great, though. Louisiana style buffet with all of the fixings! You have a personal omelet station with everything you could ever want in an omelet, a fresh ham, whole prime rib being cut in front of you, waffles, potatoes, chicken, a desert table, fruit, everything you can desire. All the while, your waitress is there bringing everything else. from drinks to oil and vinegar for your salad. Come early or prepare to wait for Sunday brunch but it’s well worth the $ 25/person(or around there).

This review is for their Sunday Brunch — COMEHUNGRY! I’ve visited this place quite often on a Sunday. It’s probably one of my favorite breakfast spots to come to when I feel like over indulging or really just to have good breakfast food. They usually have a Jazz band playing which I love. During football season, the place gets pretty crowded with New Orleans Saints fans as they have a projector to show the game on in the bar area. I don’t stay long enough for the game to come on, so I’m not sure if they get rowdy. It can get pretty crowded, so I would probably come before the Church crowd gets out. And during Football season it gets really crowded. Usually there’s not much wait before 1130 am. The buffet has all your typical breakfast items: eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. All the food in this section is prepared pretty well and you can tell they’re not using cheap ingredients. They have french toast sticks which are sooo good. I think the first couple times I came here, I didn’t bother with them b/c I thought they were the frozen kind, but no… you have to get these things. They have syrup, strawberries, and a banana foster topping; the banana foster is straight diabetes but so good. And they do have a Belgian waffle station which is great too. They also have an omelette bar with normal toppings and a couple of other goodies such as crayfish and shrimp. Every time I’ve gotten an omelette it was cooked just right. For those healthy people, you have the option to get egg whites only. The other half of the buffet are your Cajun lunch/dinner items such as fried catfish, Jambalaya, red beans & rice, and various other delicious carbs. All of it is great. There’s roasted prime rib and ham carving station also. You can get your prime rib at your desired temperature which is nice. You’ll also find a shrimp cocktail station right next to the omelettes. Finally there’s dessert and fruit station. I honestly haven’t spent anytime over here, but they have it. $ 24 per adult is a lot. It’s definitely overpriced, but honestly not by much in my opinion. The food is really good. Service has always been pretty decent whenever I come.
