Taco Mac 790 Zone Hawks

Dont go! Spend your money somewhere else. The waiter was trying to give good service but everyone else on the team was awful. Surly bartenders 4 of them and it took 20 minutes to get 2 martinis a beer and a glass of wine. Not to mention the bartender was using bare hands to put the olives in the martinis and she took the liberty of making them dirty. The hostess escorted us to a table with no condiments and 2 chairs. We were a party of 4. When I questioned her she got all full of attitude. So bottom line is Management needs to step up their game and set some standards, treat your customers like guests and work on your sanitation practices and staff training. The food was barely average. I don’t ever need to come back.

When we arrived at 1015pm there were 5 parties waiting to be sat. there were about 8 open tables in the dining area, all visible from the lobby.
We were told 15 minute wait? Really?!?
We grabbed a seat at a side table, and watched as all the tables sat empty for at least 15 minutes.
I walked to bar to get 2 glasses of water, the only glimmer of service by Charlene who was friendly and apologetic.
I will NEVER go back and will be sure to tell all I can not to go either.

Very disappointed with my experience here! Came in on the night before the Peach Bowl and was told I couldn’t have food because they were understaffed. Hard to believe they were understaffed on the night before a big bowl game with tons of fans in town!

This place has the worst service I’ve ever had. We were there 20 minutes before we got a glass of wine and water. And to get that we had to call a manager. They got our food order wrong twice. We had to ask for cutlery. Worst thing was the managers. Clueless, which is probably why the service was bad. We had two managers come over… neither apologized for the terrible service we received. They never got our food right but we had to ask that the erroneous items be removed from our check. They never have enough servers there… even on game night. It’s crazy that they are at Philips arena with such ignorant service. I’ve written the parent company because this isn’t the first time we’ve been here with this terrible service. Just go to Dantannas.

Terrible service. We waited for about half an hour for a small order. Food never came so we left the place and had nothing but just water and one soda. AVOID going to this Taco Mac because you will be disappointed.

HORRIBLE. Stay away. Visiting from Michigan to Atlanta, I went here with my husband and my best friend who I hadn’t seen in over a year expecting great food and service. Hey I’m in a major city that’s not much to ask for, as she told me T. M has an excellent vibe. Initially walking in there were 3 booths available yet had the previous customers trash still sitting on the table. That table trash remained on those tables for the entire time we were present. No one ever cleaned them, it was a turn off immediately. My server was Cody and he never did bring us the soup or salads appetizers we ordered, at least not till well after our entrees were served. When we brought it to his attention he mumbled something to himself, never apologized and went back to the kitchen for over 15 minutes. When he came back we asked for simple things like a napkins, straws and silverware because he never gave us anything. He looked puzzled and just grabbed a napkin dispenser from another table and slammed it on our table. The silverware he brought us was in a cup, unrolled looking like it had just come out of the dishwasher. Upon receiving our entrees, my bff had requested no tomatoes as she is allergic, of course her sandwich came with the tomatoes. She never did get the salad she ordered, my macaroni was literally liquid. My husband’s broccoli casserole was also liquid. Disgusting. We notified the server. After waiting another 20 minutes for Cody to return I actually called the restaurant to get a manager to come to my table because there were only like 2 people working on the floor and no managers in sight. Finally «managers» Steven and Kyle came over to talk to us and offered NO comps at all to us. He told me he would remove the watery macaroni and cheese from my bill yet low and behold I had a .50¢ charge for it! Horrible customer service silks. Then this so called other manager offered to refill our cokes, took our glasses that had straws in them and returned with no straws or replacements! Wtf. I work in client services and all of theses people would be fired if I were their boss! This letter will also be going to corporate. An hour and a half of my time wasted and $ 45 dollars worth of crap food and service! Not impressed.

Recently went to this taco mac. We were staying at the Omni and went to have some pre dinner drinks at about 6 pm. We were finally seated at a high top since the bar was full. We waited almost 15 minutes before our waitress came. When she finally arrived we ordered our drinks. She came back 5 minutes later to verify what my husband had ordered. He is a member of their brew University club and had given her his card to get points for his drink. When she served us our drinks my husband tasted his beer and it was not what he had ordered. After going to the bartender and explaining he was given the, wrong drink, since our waitress could not be found they started to give him a hard time. They said they were out of the drink he had ordered so they had given him another. It became a huge pain just to get a drink he wanted. The waitress had no knowledge of the beer they were serving.
It was a very frustrating experience and we ended up leaving soon after. They need to train their waitresses better if they are going to be known for serving such a wide variety and amount of different beers. They could also be a little better with their customer service skills at this location.

They were super busy die to two concerts but the service was good. The good came out cold but they were happy to reheat.

Buffalo chicken tacos… hangover cure. Very tasty and filling after a day of watching the falcons beat up on the giants. The tacos came with big chunks of blue cheese, which was awesome.

This Location is part of Philips Arena. The location have two entrances to the arena. One Upstairs and down. You can go in and out During events, and games. Food can be allowed in. Its a great hang out spot for Football fans and Basketball fans during halftime. Pros: Easy access to Phillips arena, great food,. Cons: High beer prices!
