The Hookah Hideaway

Sooooo I’m just leaving here and I’m quite disappointed. They turn the lights on an hour before close and put the chairs up and have the nerve to charge us for the extra coal we got a minute before the light goes on the manager says she can’t take off the coal cause we can stay so As a business woman it’s the principal I told her it’s only $ 1 but the fact that you charge us (for a self lighting coal at that) and you turn the lights and put on chairs well that kills the vibe I explained I’m not being cheap I don’t mind tipping the waitress 20percent plus that $ 1 coal but as a business we’ve been there 45min and you are supposed to close an hour from now and your stacking chairs around me… I’m a business owner so I know your not supposed to stack chairs around the customers and turn the lights on while your still open. So my bills $ 42 and change I left $ 50 cause clearly it’s not the waitress fault but the attitude I received from management who said they can’t take off the coal cause we can stay as long as we need (with lights on and chairs up next to me was an absolute insult to not only my intelligence, but my business standpoint and my pockets. 45 minutes ago I was smoking an amazing hookah at home I really don’t see why I spent $ 50 on a subpar experience I’m insulted… And had the situation been handled right I would go there again. FYI our word of mouth has brought quite a bit of dinero there.

So I went to this hookah lounge about 4 times, I’m new to Atl from Cali looking for something chill to do on a Saturday, went here the server was cool food was ok and it had a fee patrons there. The other 2 times no one was there we stayed anyway… This last time again on a Tuesday the lounge was full of no one being there the food was bland but good presentation, I ordered a salad the «waiter» said they didn’t have any lettuce but he could go around the corner and get some if I still wanted the salad. you cant be serious? The soda was 2 dollars and it came from a flat bottle no carbonation at all. This place needs more attention and a revamp. Even Though I did hear this place had very good reviews I went 4 times and disappointed every time.

Service here is HORRIBLE! We visited on a rainy Friday night & there were a total of 8 guest in the building. We placed one order of chicken wings (12 wings & side of fries=$ 12) and two adult drinks (6ounce cups @$ 12 EACH!!). It took 45(+) minutes to get our food. We then asked for water and was charged $ 2per bottle for a Kroger brand water. (You can buy a case of 12 for that cost). Our server was too busy checking her phone behind the bar to check on us. When she finally came to the table, she said «I have to go do something. I’m leaving. One of the other girls can help you if you need something» and walked out the door! Who does that!!! She left us there to fend for ourselves and literally beg for assistance. It took another 45 minutes to get our check from someone else. There is so much more I can say but I’ll leave it at… I won’t be going back!!! TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE!

Visited hookah hideaway on a Saturday for the promo of ladies smoke for free from 8pm-​11pm. I arrived about 8:30 the place was dead and very very small. The food menu, if you want to call it that was very selective. The drinks were too small for $ 12 as well, better off getting a fishbowl. I asked for some water with my drink and the young lady probably forgot since her shift was about over. Once the next person arrived I asked for some water again. He looked down at my receipt to see if I have already spent money. Very rude and unprofessional! Not sure if I’ll visit the establishment again really wasn’t impressed.

Will never come here again!!! I ordered chicken and waffles. The waffles were good but the chicken you totally get 3 chicken strips that were completely unseasoned. And my friend ordered 12 piece wings and fries. The fries were delicious :) I ordered the blue mist drink which was pretty good but it comes in a small cup smaller than the red solo cups and it was 11.00. Completely overpriced for what you get. And my friend ordered sprite. But get this they charge for refills on sprite in the little bitty cups!!! We also got a hookah. When we got our check I was appalled!!! 71.00!!! For overpriced drinks, bad food and not to mention the AC wasn’t even working. My poor friend was sweating profusely! We clearly could’ve gone to Houston’s or something more fancier for that price. Then the place was so small and nasty I was afraid to ask where the restroom was so I just held it. Lastly, the service was bad. Needless, to say I won’t be back.

2 people, 2 drinks each (no hookah, no food)…total $ 70. Uh, no. You would think it was the St. Regis, not an empty dive bar in the middle of nowhere. And they pat you down as if the president is inside. Weird and unnecessary. Waste of a beautiful evening.

Small, overcrowded, filthy bathrooms, strong stench of burning chicken grease made my eyes burn. Check tab carefully, multiple fraudulent charges.

Love this spot! Staff was great and very friendly. When we first arrived around 10:45pm on a Thursday night, the place was empty but shortly after that the partying began. The DJ played Hip Hop and had people up dancing. We had Hookah and their signature Fishbowl drink. Yes, I would go back to this spot…

Worst service ever!!! Two dollars for a bottle of Kroger water?! My friend got shoved because it’s so small in there and his plate fell and shattered. The waitress charges us ten dollars for the broken plate. They also automatically put the tip onto your ticket. So so so disappointed.

Only come for hookah and drinks. The service sucks! Be prepared to wait a hour or longer for food.

Just went for the first time. Bad food, bad service. They don’t have water, so they charge you $ 2 for bottle water. Smh. I support black businesses, so hopefully they get it together, but I won’t be going back.

First time here. I love it. I ordered a fish bowl, hookah, and wings. I will definitely be coming back.

If you haven’t been there then you’re most def missing out! Great hookahs. Awesome flavored. Not to forget about those loaded cheese fries!!! I’ll be back of course

Super chill spot. Drinks and service were on point! Bartenders are gorgeous and fish bowls are yum. All I would want for this to be 5 stars is a bit more space to move around. Great atmosphere. Arrive early for seating. This would be nice for a first date or pre-​gaming before heading to a few other spots.

Great vibes! Very cool local like spot! The drinks and food are good and very affordable! The DJ is fire! You can chill inside or outside. The venue is very small but I like it and would return for a weeknight turn up because the crowd is live in the kinda way thay makes for an enjoyable experience.

Typical, regular, basic hookah spot. Don’t bother making table reservations for this teeny tiny establishment (just go enjoy yourself somewhere else). I texted a good. hmm, 9 hours before we arrived «Can I reserve a table for 6 for 11pm» my friends weren’t pressed for any place in particular & me being me I love to try new places… so I said we’d give em a try. (What I do that for?) My girls and I arrived at 11 in good spirits, ready for a good night. We go to the bar, and I ask the bartender is the table for 6 I reserved for 11 ready: D? He explains they only have a table for 10 available & my four friends and I cannot sit there, because somebody Reserved the table. Tf? I did too. «Sooo where do we sit?» I inquire… he responds by saying «uhh you just have to make it work, sit at the bar or ask somebody can u sit wit them»…No thanks, we don’t want to squeeze into anybody’s space when we already in this teeny tiny ass «bar». We order drinks at the bar and find a way to «make it work» bc we came out to have a fun night. Meanwhile, I am lowkey pissed that they couldn’t reserve a table for 5 but they could hold a table for 10 of their friends, who arrived an hour later. However, I don’t make a scene, I make a mental note to never come back. Why would I? .it is At Best a tinsy weensy bar, with average drink prices, mediocre wings ($ 8 for 6 wings), overpriced hookah (25+) and a wack DJ. I can get that anywhereee, no point of me ever coming back. It helps to reserve a table for groups (because it’s limited space and tables) but don’t bother it is not like they will honor it in the first place. I won’t be back, that’s a guarantee. Tuh. You can get what they offer, which isn’t much, anywhere in Atlanta.

Visited the establishment last night and guess who has a food menu?! Call me fat if you will, but I was excited. I had the lemon pepper wings and loaded fries… Hold the swine bits. Lol
The food was good. Kudos to the cook. Go girl! My only critique is that I wish my wings had been crispier.
