Great British fare. Felt like almost being there. Fish and Chips were excellent. The house tartar sauce was superb. MacnCheese bowl with Pork was almost magical. England Pot Roast was also excellent. We will be back.

Stumbled upon The Pub Perimeter while in the area looking for a quick place to grab lunch with friends in Atlanta. They didn’t have a wait as the other restaurants did, so we decided to drop in for lunch and few drinks. It’s a very standard bar with a bit of a pub feel. It has a slight British pub vibe on the inside, which makes for a cool atmosphere. They also have nice seating outside in a covered patio area. I had an order of sweet chili wings and a cranberry salad. The salad was very average from a taste standpoint, and frankly it was very heavy on the lettuce and light on everything else. The wings were just ok as I found them to be kind bland. Service and drinks were good though. There definitely wasn’t anything memorable about The Pub. If you’re in mall and want to grab a quick meal with a shorter line than neighboring restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, this is a convenient option. Food wise however, I would definitely try elsewhere.

The service from the front door was excellent! We were seated promptly & given a choice of seating due to my moms disability. We were served by James & Janessa! They were great! They gave us awesome advice on food & drinks. We ordered the spring rolls for appetizer & wow so great! My mom & friend got burgers & were pleased as they were seasoned well with plenty of topping choices! I ordered the Mac & Cheese with Gouda! Lordy one of the best things I’ve tasted. Overall the service is some of the best I’ve ever had & will return just off this fact! Thanks for the great southern hospitality!

2 ladies and myself found ourselves at The Pub for a quick bite to eat and drinks since we had a date to see the Property brothers later that evening. It was such a nice day that we decided on the covered patio. Service was prompt, even though each of our dinning mates came in separately. Since we didn’t want to waste time on deciding who gets what on who’s tab, we ordered everything off the happy hour menu(all listed happy hour appetizers are $ 3.95 each). As the food started pouring out from the kitchen, we realized that we should have gotten a bigger table! In all, we ordered: –Young bbq crisps: chips loaded with cheddar, bacon & a sweet bbq sauce. So yum! –Beer battered onion rings and mushrooms: I really liked these, the oil was fresh as the batter was just a nice golden color, and not icky brown. The mushroom caps were huge as were the onion rings. –Spicy cheese dip: this is their take on pimento cheese, and although served with pita chips, these paired much better with the pretzels! –pub pretzels: these were thick, hot pretzels with 2 accompanying mustards –buffalo chicken: these were delicious and very well prepared –loaded nachos: very nicely layered! All of this food + 3 cocktails came out to an astounding $ 28 – 30 ticket, which is quite nice! The food did not take long to come out and everything was pretty delicious. However, what I did not appreciate is every single server giving us a raised eyebrow on our order. Despite what you may have been taught when you were a child, there is no rule that states you MUST finish your plate. A group who dines together would be better off ordering a variety of things to pick and choose from so the looks were just unnecessary and unprofessional. A server should not worry about what their customer’s order unless they can’t pay for their tab and if I were not out with friends, I would have immediately called the manager over because this was something that happened repeatedly and was quite uncomfortable.

So this review is under special circumstances. We came here for St. Patricks Day. We expected a lot from this place, but they fell short of our expectations. The service was rude and they weren’t crazy busy so we didn’t have any benefit of the doubt for them. Food wise, we tried many different things, but the only things that stood out for us was the bread pudding. It did feel nice to sit outside on the patio and I can’t really say anything about the green beer, it was pretty standard. They were taking down the St. Patricks day décor way before they were closing which was kind of weird to me if they were doing something special for St. Patricks Day. Music wasn’t live, which I guess we expected it to be from our past St. Patricks Day places. But that part I can see past. Meh.

A friend and I wanted to grab inexpensive cocktails and just shoot the breeze. Of course once we got a menu, the quick cocktails turned into a meal and drinks! I ordered a turkey burger, side salad and a G&T(or maybe 2). One of the best seasoned turkey burgers I have had in a while. Our server was wonderful and never rushed us, but checked in at times to see if we needed anything. A great place to hang out and grab an inexpensive bite or catch some games on the tube and chat with other patrons.

In a search for places that serves fish and chips, The Pub appeared in the results and I made a recent journey. Flags of the U.K. as well as images of The Sovereign are among the decorations. I walked in an took a seat at the bar, as no one was at the front of the house. I ordered a Bass Pale Ale and the fish and chips. The fish served with the fish and chips is haddock; it was good. The dish is accompanied with coleslaw and tartare sauce. I did not use much of the tartare sauce and the coleslaw okay, but not good enough for me to finish. I requested malt vinegar and was a condiment caddy with brown sauce, ketchup, etc… 3.75, if I could rate incrementally.

We loved it! We were in town for the weekend, staying at a hotel across the street from the Perimeter Mall, and went here on the recommendation of a local friend. We went with another couple, and in addition to the food being great, the beer selection was even better. I’m not usually much of a beer drinker, but I like it when a restaurant offers a flight of 6 or 8 beer samples, so this was my choice. All were good, but the amber was exceptional. They guys each tried a couple different beers, one on draft and one in a can, and said they were all great. My husband made notes so he can try to find them at home. Our server was charming, and didn’t rush us at all when we sat and talked for an hour.(It probably helped that we were there mid-afternoon on a Saturday and they weren’t very crowded.) When we’re back in the area, I can already feel that there will be a return trip.

You can find The Pub at 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA30346 attached to the main entrance of Perimeter Mall — it’s right behind the valet drive-up and nestled between the grotto leading to the lower level on the left and what used to be Goldfish on the right(this will soon be a new concept restaurant). There’s plenty of parking but since it’s a mall things can get rather filled up. I like the lot to the right that’s to one side of the Cheesecake Factory. I’m not sure where to begin with this place — it’s a really impressive, fantasy version of an ideal English Pub, only blown out to about 4x the size. Not that this is a bad thing, but it can be hard to find your party as there’s lots of places where your friends can be hiding. I especially like the patio in nice weather — if it’s a bit chilly there’s an open seating pit that has gas flames, although it’s been a while since I’ve seen them lit — there’s also a covered area outside for when the weather isn’t cooperating. The interior is made up of a massive bar — the first thing you see when you walk through the short waiting area by the hostess stand. Check out all the taps — plenty to try here. There are various levels with stairs and ramps for access, so the sight-lines change quite a bit. There’s also Brit-pop paraphernalia and artifacts lining all the walls and even the ceiling has large mural flags and iconography of favorite local UK teams. The staff for the most part are adorned in kilts, even some of the guys(when they first opened they all were but I guess some have demurred). My team from work started sampling this place soon after it opened and it’s become a regular haunt so I’ve sampled just about everything on the menu, both food and drink(well at least from the draft beer menu, which is quite impressive). I’ve hosted a couple of UYEs and technology MeetUps here also — this place is uniquely situated to make this very easy to do — the management is also very accommodating. When you’re seated you’ll see a leather folio of their most commonly asked-for drafts, whiskeys and snacks. The Pub has a fantastic happy hour that lasts from about 4:00PM to 7PM — most of the drafts listed in this menu are $ 3(instead of $ 3.50−3.95) for a 16 oz glass — the includes the new Guinness Nitro IPA which is delicious. There’s 10 or so appetizers that are also value priced — I’ll get to those in more detail later. I find that I can sit, have several pints and snacks and make it out of here for $ 20 which makes this a fantastic deal. The other great service that The Pub provides is the upstairs room with the free-pour taps. You basically have them set you up on a card and you pay for your beer by the ounce. Someone comes up, taps the card and pours. That easy — it’s also a good deal when to look at what’s tapped — they frequently have local craft by Monday Night and others on these taps — there’s also one Nitro tap per bank(three banks so 3 different nitro brews). What can be better than self-serve? My favorite happy hour snacks are the Nachos, the Fried Onion Ring/Mushroom combo and the Buffalo Chicken. For dinner, I like the sandwiches, the Cranberry Pecan Salad(add grilled chicken), the Bangers and Mash(although I wish they would put a bit more grill on the sausages), the Buttermilk Fried Chicken, and the Fish and Chips(it’s haddock instead of cod but it’s not a bad substitution — at least it’s not tilapia!). Service here had been consistently very good — last night I attended a get together of about a dozen people and Tiffany, our server was really fantastic. We thought so much of her that we pulled a manager over(Lydia) and told her so. Anyway, if you haven’t tried The Pub, what are you waiting for?

Great meet up place. They have a good happy hour, good drinks and food. The waitress was really friendly and nice. And if you are interested in doing some shopping as well the mall is right next door.

I’m not sure how I haven’t noticed this place but it’s been open since Aug 2014. It’s next to the Cheesecake Factory and across from Urban Outfitters. I came on a Sat night around 7. I thought it would be a lot busier but maybe everyone was still out finishing up their holiday shopping. They have a huge bar. Also, there’s two levels. You could probably have a small gathering on the top floor. I love Sidecars and I usually only order them at Irish Pubs because they know how to make them correctly. It came in a small martini glass. The drink was tasty– I was just expecting it to be slightly bigger. My friend ordered a Hurricane. Hers came in a regular glass and it was good. I couldn’t decide between a burger or the Cuban Sandwich. I did eenie meanie miney moe and ended up picking the Cuban. The sandwich was very good. The fries were too. On the menu Chips are fries– FYI. They have Happy Hour M-F from 3 – 7. I plan to go back and check it out. They have drink and food specials ranging from $ 3 – 6. Parking is free because it’s at the mall.

In the midst of moving i was starving and randomly craving scotch eggs… how weird. I had wanted to try this place out so i drove 15 mins out of my way and found parking close by. Its located by the valet beside Urban Outfitters and Maggianos where another restaurant used to be. I waited about 5 mins for my order at the bar which wasnt packed at all. I ordered 2 scotch eggs and 1 fish and chips. The scotch egg(only ate 1) was good definitely what i needed! the fish was HUGE and i ate most of it. Now i have had scotch eggs in London and fish n chips in Dublin soooooo its not comparable so its just ok sorry! I notice American restaurants have very thick layer of sausage on the egg compared to the one i had in 2 other countries. I prefer the thinner layer. Its crispier. Still on the hunt for a place that has fish n chips with mushy peas! Might return to try out their beer menu would love a glass or Guinness extra stout!

The bartender made the night!!! Very courteous, attentive, and fast… She sure to keep and eye on our orders to ensure that they were served to us!!! My food was a little slow coming out and she explained it was because my burger was burned and needed to be remade. With a full bar, she was very professional!!!

Went here last night with one of my best friends. It was Friday night and we wanted something to do so we an über and came to see this place after I read some reviews. It’s located at Perimeter mall near Cheesecake Factory. We walked in and the hostess was friendly and offered us a table but we decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender was cool. She wasn’t the most attentive but she wasn’t the least so overall we were happy with her. We both ordered a drink. Not big on beer so we ordered some of the mixed drinks options they had on the menu. Mine was okay she said hers was watered down. We decided to order the burger and the macaroni bowl and split it. Ittook quite some time to come out. The burger was pretty good. The fries were tasty. My first macaroni bowl was a little cold so I sent it back for them to heat it up and they said they would make me a new one. It was very flavorful and cheesey just like I like it. My friend thought it was a little too salty. The buffalo chicken was very powerful and flavor. Overall it was good to me but she couldn’t eat it. There was a live DJ there. There wasn’t much of a crowd but overall we had a good time.

This pub is located in the shopping plaza with cheesecake factory and other shops. My friends and I came here for drinks and to hangout. The server was very sweet. My friend and I were craving dessert and ordered the cookie sundae. The cookie part was very melted and didn’t really taste like cookies, and it was very sweet overall. I didn’t order any alcoholic drinks but got to try some of my friends’ drinks — they were not bad. Overall, it was a good place for us to sit, hangout, and drink. Unfortunately, we had a stranger that kept trying to take selfies with a friend of ours and was very touchy. He was just drunk out of his mind so we were trying not to give him too much difficulty. He eventually left and the server later came to apologize about this. Even though he wasn’t being that much of a bother to us, it was a bit uncomfortable and disrupted our conversations. Hopefully this isn’t something that normally happens at this pub.

[TL;DR] 37 draught beers, selections of gin, scotch, and bourbon on flights. Big, covered patio. Ample room upstairs. /ATMOSPHERE This place is a lot like a cartoon igloo which looks tiny from the outside. It’s quite massive inside. Nothing says British like girls AND guys running around in kilts. Well, I might concede that point only to the gigantic ceiling with the Union Jack displayed. Warm woods and tall lines give the space a unique feel in this the perimeter area. The bar is quite profound. Seating around it plentiful. There are areas to sit upstairs as well as a in the back and are a bit more secluded and less social. The covered patio outdoors is roomy as well and includes some lounge seats with what appears to be a tabletop fireplace. /FOOD I was only there during happy hour so I can’t attest for the full menu. The happy hour appetizers were average. Nothing special and nothing stood out. Portions are pretty small, too. I did manage to sample some warm goat cheese and pita. It was awesome. /SERVICE Friendly wait staff and greeters. They accommodated a party of 10 even when we asked for different seating arrangements on arrival. Service can get a little slow when the place picks up. I’m sure things must be running like a tight British naval ship with what I assume to be the restaurant manager pacing the floor with an impressively pensive look on her face. ;-) You know who you are. PRO-TIP: From 5 – 7, you can get a $ 3 schooner(14 oz) of beer from their draught selection. Ask about the right ones. The higher ABVs are excluded. HOWTOREADMYREVIEWS: 1 Star — Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars — If I’m in the area, I’d pick something else. 3 Stars — I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars — I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars — I would go out of my way to dine here.

This was the last place I thought I would find myself in, but my friend suggested to meet here for drinks after work so I found myself here at this busy bar around 8pm on a Friday night. And I was in for a pleasant surprise. After shopping at Perimeter Mall, I walked outside the mall to the adjoining Pub. A server/hostess waited outside and opened the door for me, dressed in her cute little kilt outfit. Since I told her I was still waiting on someone, I seated myself at the bar to wait, and ordered a beer. The draft beers are moderately priced, which is always a plus. When my friend arrived, I took my tab and my beer further down the bar to a seat away from the door that carried the brisk wind inside. Our new bartender handed us food menus per our request, and made some recommendations: Flash Fried Calamari — Our bartender highly recommended the calamari, which was amazing. Probably the best food of the night. Comes with two dipping sauces, a curry sauce and the Asian chili sauce, which I found to be more satisfying with the crispy salty goodness. Spinach & Artichoke Dip — Hearty but nothing mind blowing. and our bartender automatically put in an extra order of the pita bread. Whisky Bread Pudding — A MUSTORDER. Comes a la mode, bread pudding drenched in whisky, we couldn’t stop eating, even though we were so full. To top off the night, we ordered a shot that the bartender made for us, which I cannot remember what it was for the life of me. When we got our individual tabs, I was shocked to see a reasonable total. This is not the«Hooters» or «Tilted Kilt» spin off I thought it was going to be. It’s a good time in a chill or classy way, whichever way you want it to be. Cheers!

I was so bummed when I couldn’t attend the Unilocal event that was held here, earlier this year. I’m all about pubs even though I don’t drink beer but for some reason, I wasn’t able to attend. My first visit was just to take a sneak peek at their menu with friends after having a lovely lunch next door at the Cheesecake Factory. They are located next to the fountain park at Perimeter Mall and right next door to Goldfish. You can’t miss them. They offer valet parking and have a wonderful team of hostesses that will greet you and sometimes even open the door for you or when you exits. My first visit here was with my dear friend Hameeda B. We haven’t gotten a chance to catch up in months so I suggested we meet here so she can check it out. She’s from the UK and has family there so I thought a British/Scottish themed pub would be right up her ally! She ordered the Scottish eggs and had a car bomb or two. She said that her Scottish eggs were awesome and enjoyed her drinks as well. I typically order the Montevito wine and enjoyed their goat cheese appetizer. On other visits, I was able to try items off their Happy Hour menu and Three Olives Well drinks. If you order the Vodka Lemonade, the lemonade is freshly squeezed so it tastes wonderful! Sweet but just the way I like it. Visited here several times and has become our weekly or bi-weekly happy hour spot. During my last visit, I took my buddy, Tom E. for his 30th birthday dinner and we had a blast! He enjoyed his sandwich and my burger was AMAZING! If you order any of their burgers, you must add the Young’s BBQ sauce. Our server highly recommended it and I’m so glad I took his advice! The caramelized onions with a touch Guinness makes the sauce sweet and flavorful. If you like turkey burgers, fear not, their patties are not salty at all and super moist. It almost tastes like a «turkey meatloaf!» My two favorite servers are Jasmine and Matt. They are both solid and get the job done. Their customer service is spot on and their high energy and positivity is infectious. My friends and I always appreciate their attentiveness and eager to make sure each visit is enjoyable! Kudos to both of you for doing a rockin’ job!(thumbs up)
