TOTALSCAM. 15% «restocking fee» on unopened/unused items. Do yourself a favor and avoid buying from these people. I’m filing a complaint with the Georgia Department of Law’s Consumer Protection Unit to get my money back. Totally unethical business practices and they should be put out of business. UPDATE: They used eBay’s own convoluted policies to get rid of the negative feedback I left them. No wonder they only have 61 bad reviews, otherwise they’d have hundreds!

Scamsquared, they tried to ship me a junk korg krome 61 blue and I called korg, and they told me that the keybeds are fragile and it will break. And once the keys are broken, they are not replaceable. So I refused the package. I paid $ 720, and Ripoffsquared gave me refund of only around $ 620. I file dispute with the credit card, and now today 4÷27÷15 after a month, they charged another $ 720. Uniquesquare will bound to scam or rip you off. They are bunch of heartless and careless people. It’s illegal and uncivilized for charging $ 720 on my credit card without permission and I have not received anything from you. Uniquesquared are bunch of scam artist. Please people, report to better business bureau to stop these scam artist of our people shoppers !

I purchased four Mackie MR5mk3 powered monitor speakers from this outfit through Amazon. The listing stated that these were used or refurbished, and the price was terrific. I was delighted to receive what appeared to be four brand new cabinets in their original sealed packaging. Certainly not DOA. They sound terrific, there was no damage anywhere, and I am totally delighted! I wrote this review in response to seeing all of the less than glowing reviews here. Like anywhere, you sometimes get what you pay for, especially when you purchase at a deep discount, but I am quite pleased with the transaction I had with this company, and will shop here again.

Shipped me a defective product… Wants me to pay return it… and fine print says I am subject to a 15% fee. I made a big mistake buying from them.

This company sells open boxed DOA items as new. They then pass the buck for return shipping for DOA items on to their customers. By the time you have had enough and choose a refund, they will charge you a fifteen percent restocking fee for your defective or DOA item. Why are they restocking defective items? They could tell you anything on the phone, but do you really want to take that chance? The whole experience was like a bad scene from a bad movie. Even the acting was terrible…

Purchased a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 combo package complete with microphones and cables. One mike cable was dead on arrival. Since I didn’t notify them within 30 days, they were completely uninterested in addressing the non-functional cable, even though a) it is stated on the cable packaging that the cable has a «limited lifetime warranty» and b) for support, the manufacture’s web site says, «Please contact your nearest [mfg name] dealer.» Next time I will shop elsewhere.

Before my review; just some info: I sometimes DJ(Hip-Hop/R&B/ some Pop/Top 40) for house parties, but my main focus is music production and recording. My personal DJ gear is meant to be portable, so I don’t invest in the top/high end of components that are meant to be stored/used in clubs. One party foul from someone tipsy and that just might end the life of your equipment. Now on to the review; They are mainly an internet based company and do primarily all sales through their store site. I have asked countless times but they do not offer store front pick up even if you bought the item online. I was advised from one of their managers/sales rep by the name of Paul(also) when I made that mistake of going to the actual location the first time since it’s nearby the drive to work. He stated they might be able to pull the item to hold for Saturday pick ups before the warehouse ships it, but what the answer I get over the phone and e-mails is a different story. Maybe if I was a bigger name or one of their buddies they would do this. But oh well. So set your expectations accordingly if you’re a local buying equipment through them. Selection varies, prices are some what close to street prices. It’s iffy. With Guitar Center, I can get them to price match if another store has it for less.(Granted just about everything can be bought online cheaper, but if you can work the magic they’ll give you a discount) I doubt I could do this with unique squared since they are mainly just online. The items that I’ve bought were a Numark Total Control(A total beginner’s controller) which was fine for learning but very limited. The order was placed on a Monday after 3:00pm and the item was delivered to my address on a Wednesday. What they do get points for was that they allowed me to return the Total Control for a Numark Mixdeck and to just pay the difference.(Still, a beginners controller but it’s very portable and DJing is not my main focus when it comes to music.) Shipping was free since I was paying for the Total Control to be returned. Overall I had a positive experience of my purchases. If you can find what your looking for and it’s about the same price AND you need it asap, I’d buy from them IF you’re local. If not, then Amazon or Ebay is a better option.
