Tasted a piece of their cocunut cake at a birthday party and i’ve been ordering the same cake ever since for different occasions. The cake itself it so pretty… looks like its covered with snowflakes… they soak the cake with coconut cream which makes it very moist and the crème filling is also very good. I’ll give that cake alone 5 stars.
I ordered the cuatro leches cake recently and based on their coconut crème cake, i expected this cake to be super moist and as delicious but i was so WRONG! The cake was very dry, i don’t think it had even uno leche let alone cuatro. I’ll try a couple of more flavors and update my review.

We chose Metrotainment Bakery for our wedding and have never been happier! The wedding cake looked like something out of magazine and tasted like something out of a French bistro. In addition, they helped us choose a variety of 4 side cakes by substituting our bottom layer for an artificial layer so that all of our guests were happy!

Ordered a gluten free Double Chocolate cake in advance. Then I came to pick up at the agreed time and it’s like they forgot! They only had one chocolate and one yellow layer so they asked if that was ok… I didn’t have a choice at this point so I took it. I’m glad they had something lying around I guess… #no discount #dissaponted

so I’ve been researching and trying to find the best Coconut cream pie for my mom’s birthday this Saturday 4/​23, today is Thursday 4÷21… tried to order online however the site was down, so i called– just to order 1 pie– nothing special, 1 pie. My first experience with this bakery. I was quickly told– «no», I asked if an exception could be made, again I was told «no». Thanks for accommodating your customers. I order large quantities of baked for my company on a monthly basis and I’m always seeking new bakeries… my short list has not expanded. My search continues…

They are hard to miss if you don’t look carefully. But, this place is now my new favorite bakery, despite being a little pricy. I have just eaten their Mini Oreo Cheesecake. I will say that it is absolute pure bliss and a wonderful piece of heaven. The soft, decadent, flavorful, rich, and moist cake surrounded by the most delicious and flavorful Oreo cream cream/​icing is a pure joy and pleasure.
I heard about them when I was looking up local Atlanta bakeries on Google. Yes, I know my first stop to look up local Atlanta bakeries online should’ve been Unilocal.The owner of Metrotainment Bakery has now made me into one of Metrotainment Bakery’s newest regular and repeat customers. I can say enough good things about this wonderful bakery.
Even if this place is far from where I live, I will always come here to pick up my piece of Metrotainment Bakery Heaven whenever I can. The inside is absolutely adorable and quaint and there is seating available if you wish to eat and enjoy your food there. They provide wholesale cookies to retail businesses. They also have a wonderful selection of baked goods as well.
Everything from cookies to cakes for any occasion, they have and make it all. I surely was not disappointed when I went in and purchased my piece of Metrotainment Bakery heaven. The staff is friendly and very attentive. They also have an excellent bedside manner as well. I simply cannot believe I have never discovered them sooner.
I will definitely be coming here whenever I am in the area and whenever I need my sweet fix.

Man, these pies are HUUUUUUUGE!
I was looking for some pies for Thanksgiving and stumbled upon this little joint. I ended up ordering 2 pies for the office: sweet potato pie and pumpkin pie. I also got a coconut cream pie for my own thanksgiving dinner. So two pies for 40 people? WAAAAAAY too much. These pies are much bigger than you’d expect. Honestly, 1 pie is enough to feed 30 – 40 people, unless you have people taking HUUUUGe pieces or if people are eating pie as their main course. I should have just ordered one pie. The pies were both very good, but I feel like the sweet potato pie didn’t have that normal spice I typically like. It tasted almost like the pumpkin pie. Regardless, the crust is good and the sweetness in the pies are well balanced. Huge pies for a great price! NOMNOM!

Easy to bypass as it’s housed inside a warehouse surrounded by many office spaces. Look for sign.

They have cheesecake, cookies, and cupcakes to name a few.

The prices are fantastic compared to other bakeries in town.

As someone who bakes, isn’t originally from here, and loves a good dessert, I was treating sourcing out a specialty cake for my mother’s birthday like a research project. It was between three spots in the city, I ranked them and then placed calls. MB hit all the marks for me in terms of having been right to have them as a first option. My mom’s palate is very worldly, and she’s a Grand Marnier girl who likes nuts so I found love with the Grand Marnier Pound Cake. I chose pound because the fear of getting the texture wrong here is ridiculously low to nonexistent — pound is pound. Order was placed 3 days prior, the baker had sounded really pleasant on the phone and I just knew it would be great. It was! Very moist, just swirl-​soaked in the cognac, with chips inside and almond bite surprises; FANTASTIC! Mom’s taking it back to Europe to share at the office & with her friends. I’ll be back for mine :)

Many words can be said about Metrotainment bakery. I’ve known the own we since 2010 and he is just an amazing guy who really cares about his customers. His staff is very hardworking and pleasant. I am here a regular customer because for real you can’t find anything better at least in Atlanta! Will come back many more times.

Ordered a Cupcake and Cake Top for my son’s wedding. The flavors were amazing, delicious and moist. I had the pleasure of working with Suli, who was the ultimate professional and delivered the baked goods herself on the Wedding day. Everyone raved about them. Thank you for your service Suli. Metrotainment Bakery did not let me down.

I reached out to SugarShack for cupcake options for my upcoming wedding. My email was forwarded days later to Metrotainment, and Suli reached out to me days after. I immediately responded letting her know all our details and asked several questions.
Over a WEEK went by and I never heard back so I called their office. A woman who said she is the manager answered and when I asked her some questions regarding flavors available, options between mini and regular sizes, if the setup fee included any sort of stand etc. she proceeded to answer as unhelpfully and outright rude as possible.
She said if I wanted to know the flavors I should go there and look myself. When I asked if I could simply just see a list via email or a link online (since I wasn’t sure if they were referencing their options/​flavors or SugarShack’s), she laughed and sarcastically said «we have over 40 options, do you really want me to read them all to you on the phone?».
I asked what the set up fee included and again she laughed and sarcastically simply said «Set up.», so I asked if that meant on a stand they could provide, on a stand I supplied, in boxes, etc.
Regardless, I eventually had to end the conversation that was going nowhere, since I would never want to work with such unresponsive, apathetic, passive people, especially for my wedding.
I was so disappointed because they were my first choice since I really love SugarShack.

Their cupcakes are decent. They could be a little more moist. We have tried about 7 different flavors. The flavors are always good.
The staff is always friendly and helpful.
It is worth trying.

This review is coming from a true dessertoholic; I cannot help myself when it comes to sweets! I have never been one for carrot cake, but their carrot cheese cake is my all-​time favorite things on the menu! I have samples many of their desserts and as I stated I have not once been disappointed. On my most recent trip I had a chocolate cheese cake bar and it was so moist and good, just the thought of it makes me want another. You would think something so good, would cost you a mint but believe me when I tell you their prices are unbeatable! If you have not tried Metrotainment Bakery I suggest you run not walk down there and give them a whirl!

LOVE LOVE LOVE their cheesecake. You do have to order the cheesecake two days in advance but their flavor selection is amazing and they taste SO rich and decadent. I’m a little bit of a cheesecake snob and the two I’ve tried (Oreo and Lemon-​Ginger) are some of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Even though they’re six inches in diameter, they’re pretty tall. So you actually get more cheesecake than you anticipate.
I’ve also had cupcakes from there, and they’re solid. Not OUT OF THIS WORLD like the cheesecake, but I wasn’t disappointed at all.
For ambiance, it’s definitely the kind of place where you just go in, pick up your order, and leave. It’s pretty much in a warehouse. But as long as you know that, I have no problem with it! The cheesecake is so good, I’d go eat it in the parking lot if needed.

Love their bakery and I’m getting my wedding cake from there with my favorite flavor– Cuatros Leches with kahlua buttercream!

I recently called as a first timer to order the b52 cheesecake. Although I had a bit of a wait on the phone, once the guy got me off of hold, he was very helpful. He explained they have a 2 business day advance order policy. The guy taking my order was very helpful.
Upon my arrival, I was a bit disappointed in the face to face service by a lady who acted as if I interrupted her dinner. After getting my cheesecake home, I was pleased with it. The texture was creamy and rich.

I have a very small bookmark on Unilocal and Metrotainment is among the less than 20 businesses on it. I’ve been going here for special occasions for the last 3 years now.
As many on here, I found them on Unilocal and went there for my wife’s birthday cake. A carrot cake for the fall birthday was absolutely a hit! It was such a good hit that we have converted several friends to ordering from metrotainment only now.
As Bobbin before reviewed on 2012, we also bought cakes for our wedding from here. We did several tastings at other wedding bakery places and then we decided non of them stacked up. So we ordered 4 cakes, 1 pie, and a cheesecake and it all came under $ 360 and it fed 100 people with plenty of left over.
Can’t say enough about their quality of product except that I’ll be coming back as long as their standards stay where they are.

I ordered the rainbow cake about a month in advance!!! Maybe too much of an advance, because when I arrived to pick-​up the birthday cake it was not ready… I was informed it was made the week prior…
Totally devastated, but the made one fresh (even better) and delivered it!!! Threw in some cupcakes for my troubles… I even bought a cupcake stand!!!
Well, 3 weeks later & I’m craving some more of their cake!!! ;-)

So I got here well after 2pm when they close because I didn’t think they closed that early. The guy let me in anyway! He warned me that they didnt have much left because everything had been put away but that I was more than welcome to peruse what they did have. I chose a brownie, it’s incredibly rich so I got 2 servings out of it.
Even if the brownie had been garbage, I still would have had to give them 4 stars for customer service! I know how irritated I would get when I worked retail and people would just meander in like they could give a hell less about our hours, so the fact that he let me in anyway was touching lol.

My review may not hold much weight for some of you, as I have not actually sampled a dessert from Metrotainment’s actual brick-​and-​mortar. I got the delight of trying a sweet potato cupcake at the Taste of Atlanta 2012 and the experience was a game-​changer.
Maybe it was because I was famished (I had it around 4:30 pm, after having gone without food since breakfast around 9 am) but when I sunk my teeth into this cupcake (knowing that my belly would not appreciate having something sweet instead of «real food» after so many hours of no eating), I was transported to a surreal place where all things are covered in the luscious, pillowy frosting that enrobed the perfectly-​sweetened and celestially-​moist sweet potato cake.
Perhaps the very best cupcake that I have ever had. Ever. I have had many cupcakes.
Metrotainment Bakery, I will stop by one of these days. Your hours just don’t jive too well with my own though. But I will make the effort, because you’re worth it!
