Prior to this last experience I didn’t have an issue out of this location(granted its been a while since I went there). I had it with the location on windy hill rd so I decided to drive a little further and get my order right(so I thought). Well, I pull up to order our usual and when I ordered the baked potatoes I was informed«we don’t have butter». I ask how you have baked potatoes but no butter so a female gets on the intercom saying their truck didn’t come yet(!?). I figured ok I’ll just use the butter I have at home. Its not the same but tough cookies. I proceed with my order and then pull up to pay. I was then asked if I wanted any other sauce because guess what? They didn’t have honey mustard either. I said are yall serious right now? And was told again their truck hasn’t come yet and they had been pretty busy. I was then advised that I could go to another location to get the condiments. really?! That’s just tacky and I wanted to avoid windy hill because their condiments are always open. I ended up having to go to the windy hill location spending over an hour in line because my child wouldn’t eat his meal without his honey mustard. A hour later I finally get to the window and explain the situation only to be treated like a total pariah. I complained to corporate because this half *** Georgia lazy mess doesn’t reflect well on their business. Lord knows if I hadn’t eaten at locations outside of this place I sure wouldn’t but luckily I know better than to think its the company when in fact its the lazy baboons they insist on hiring.

I love Wendy’s, but this location really needs to shape up. While the employees are super nice, they never seem to be prepared for the lunch or dinner rush, and so there are always tons of people waiting for their food. The drive-thru is a nightmare with multiple cars asked to «pull up» and wait for their orders to be brought out to them, which in turn leads to plenty of confusion because there are multiple bagged orders floating around and the employees can’t remember which orders belong to which customers. This location also frequently runs out of items such as certain sauces or ketchup, and they will sometimes tell you that their equipment is broken and sub in a different food item without asking you, such as this evening when I wasn’t told that the oven wasn’t working and so I was given fries rather than the baked potato I ordered. If they had informed me when I ordered, I could have told them that I preferred something else. Unfortunately, even during non rush hours, service is slow. However, as I mentioned before, the employees are always very nice and polite, and they always apologize and try to help fix the situation if they can, such as offering us extra nuggets or a free Frosty. On the plus side, they are also very generous when you request extra sauces/condiments and they are always good about getting my meal order correct when I request alterations like no mayo, etc.

Drive too fast down Cobb Parkway and you may miss this Wendy’s. It’s kind of hidden from view, tucked away on Spring Rd. This Wendy’s is in dire need of some renovations. Hopefully, it’s next in the rotation for store upgrades. I visited the drive-thru late on a Saturday night(after 11pm) to pick up a small chili and a «JBC»(Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger). Everything was fine(order was processed quickly), except the cashier mumbled an inaudible amount to be charged to my card and then didn’t even bother to give me a receipt. I was expecting to find it in the bag, but no dice. Granted, the total charges were only a few bucks, but still, she should’ve asked me if I wanted a receipt. Wendy’s is one of my favorites among fast food chains. I like that they’re open late. This location is open until 2am on weekends and 1am on weekdays.

From the slow mo service to the not so warm food, this is why this Wendy’s gets this rating. On top of that, the staff would prefer to carry their problems to work and not focus on their customers. Totally disgusted and may(maybe may) go if I desperately need some food late at night!

Overall a pretty nice store and conveniently located near Cumberland Mall. The associates are friendly and I especially like that the manager has a sign near the cash register that states customer service is their number one priority and if you are not satisfied she would like the opportunity to make it better. I’ve seen signs like this before, but not at Wendy’s and not personalized. Good job, Rita Lee. :)
