Pulled pork was A1, mac-n-cheese was ok I love it no matter who makes it, beans(canned) it’s pretty obvious I wished they made it their own we buy can beans at home and add pineapple brown sugar meat or something! The sweet potato was so good collards eh ok I added hot sauce on them ok the RIBS(rib tips) pros nice portion size cons to much fat and bones not enough meet and sauce was more smokey than sweet

First let me say this will be wordy because I can’t bring myself to call them and express just how this feels! I just returned from grabbing what was to be lunch at 1pm. I called this morning about 11:10 to just confirm their location since it would be my 1st time there. I spoke to a really nice older lady, who told me that they had a family emergency today and were just arriving and the food would not be ready for about 1.5 hours. Ok I thought things happen so cool I will either wait or try another day. My mistake on waiting and steadily reviewing other bbq joints near here. I stuck to my pick and arrived and there was no one there, which based on other reviews made me happy because that meant in and out. As I captioned I was excited to be waiting on my order and even more pleased that I walked through some smoke on the way to the door. Now the guy that took the order was very nice as he explained my options. I decided to try the pulled pork with mild sauce, baked beans and even threw in sweet potato pie for good measure. He told me the wait would be about 10 mins, which was fine with me. I actually waited maybe 5 minutes because the same guy went to fix my order and then older lady bagged me to go, so that was cool. I sight checked the bag to make sure that there were 3 items in there before leaving because it felt kind of awkward to open it all while standing at the counter. I get back to the car and opened the bag to further inspect and did a quick temp check on the baked beans — — –cold…opened pulled pork bread — cold, meat room temp! Now as much as I am truthful I must admit I was completely surprised and trying to stay positive just made up my mind that I would go right to the microwave when I got back to heat it up!(after all they did have some type of family emergency earlier) 30 mins later ump reheat completed and ready to dig in to satisfy this craving that I’ve had for a solid week now for good BBQ. Can we say Van De Camp pork n beans, w/hint of idk!?? Like for real don’t people at least fake like it’s original by putting in onions or peppers, seasoning– anything just straight up taste out the can, which is probably why they were cold. As you noticed from the picture there was not a lot of sauce on the sandwich so really I would be unfair to speak on how that tastes because it’s hard to taste since it’s so little. I have never had this type of experience and not handled it accordingly. Here’s the dilemma– since I know there was only 3 of them there if I call then I will feel horrible because just maybe today’s service failure was due to their family emergency? I could call later but then too many hours would be passed and then to explain all this would be torture for me as well. I have not even tried the pie and honestly after wasting $ 8.00 not including time/gas I don’t even plan on trying the pie. Bottom line I am understanding on a lot of things however this is just more than I would have ever imagined and for a true first time Unilocal after many months off, I am overwhelmed. I will think twice to try and give them another chance or maybe even call but right now all things feel wrong and I betrayal is tough to get over. Clearly that smoke was only for ribs that were not yet ready but at least they would have been hot not cold… Tip for life– always wait till the smoke clears, I guess.

I hate that I waited so long to come here. This is my second visit and it’s even better than the first time. Perfectly cooked meats and tasty sides!

Yes the ribs are delicious big bones I thought 3 bones wasn’t enough so I got greedy and ordered the ½ rack the meat falls off the bones shoot the bones themselves are tender and seasoned great for sucking. The candy yams were fantastic and the family owned black business provided great customer service.

BBQ a subject that can lead to fist fights with your neighbors or turning strangers into friends. Our friend the mighty pig can cause an immense range of emotions. We’re All About It BBQ is a new BBQ in my neighborhood. The pluses cleanliness, politeness, pulled pork and sweet tea. When you walk in it strikes you this is a clean space it is a walkup with about 3 tables outside. The young lady at the register was super nice. When my order was taking too long she gave me a complimentary sweet tea. When it was taking even longer«Fast Eddie» brought me a chair and explained everyone has ordered ribs today just trying to get your order right. I appreciate that. Plus being a local establishment to me I am glad they are busy. Pulled pork sandwich, it was big and the sauce complimented it well. Anywhere else they would have charged more for a jumbo sandwich. Note no pickles on the sandwich it comes with 2 pickle spears. The sweet tea well it lighter than I like but heck it was tasty on the palate. Very sweet which is good and they used crushed ice in it. That makes a sweet tea. The not so good. It took awhile, they were obviously recovering from being slammed. I understand ribs can only cook so fast, I think they did the best they could but I’m thinking I’ll try the ribs again when they are ready. My bad for insisting on ribs. Because I had to wait so long I got some cake as a condolence gift. That is what is called customer service. I’ll be back and I encourage people to give them a try. You want business in East Point then support it folks.
