I preface this by stating I have never written a negative review. My mother always taught me that if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. I am an avid supporter of local businesses, and as an Atlantic Beach resident, I take any opportunity to promote local commerce. With that stated, my experience at Ashle Gryre truly turned my stomach and has left a wretched taste in my mouth when it comes to small businesses… This is a return story gone bad. My mother purchased these beautiful double sided pearl earrings in mid June from Ashle Gryre to give to me as a gift. When I tried them on, the back kept falling off. No big deal. Surely, I could trade it in for a pair that was not defected or get store credit towards another item. I didn’t expect a full return since they were jewelry and I knew most stores had a policy on returning such items. Still I felt they would do their due diligence as private proprietors to provide a patron with courteous customer service. After explaining the situation to two ladies(seemingly the owners), they were less than sympathetic. In fact, they came across snide with one commenting«We’re in the selling business not the disinfecting business.» Also, I would go so far as to say they were defensive stating«We’ve sold hundreds of these earrings and have never had this problem.» To both of these comments I kept a calm and a respectful demeanor and replied«Sure. I understand.» They offered to switch them out for another pair of the same kind, to which I declined. At that point, I felt so disrespected and belittled by their arrogant manner and blatant repugnance to me wanting to return defective earrings in the first place. I am sure I can find the same earrings at Marshall’s down the street for half the price and could probably return them for any reason. Shame on me for wanting to support the small business man. It is the principal of common courtesy and basic good business principals. SMH

This is a gorgeous little boutique. It offers beautiful accessories like jewelry, hats, shoes and scents for the home. Great designers like Rachel Zoe! I was greeted upon arriving and felt like the staff was very helpful and not pushy at all. The clothing is really pretty and fresh. Having a nice place close to the ocean and restaurants of Neptune and Jax Beach is just perfect.

This boutique is upscale but laid back at the same time. Such a treat to shop here! I went on a Saturday and they were offering mimosas and pastries, yes please! The owners, like others have mentioned, are very professional and helpful. Lots to chose from, sweaters, date night dresses, scarves, jewelry, jeans and there is something for a low or high budget here but the quality is all top notch. The dressing rooms are like something out of a princess castle, long flowing curtains and full length mirrors, everything I tried on looked amazing! I will definitely return!(and I will dream of it until then ;))

Moving here from NYC last August, I was afraid I would never find a store that offered affordable on-trend clothing in a non-department store setting. That all changed when AshleGryre opened up a few short blocks from where I live! I could swear the store was sent from heaven! Not only do I love the clothes and accessory offerings, but the store itself is lovely and expertly designed. Once I’m in there, I never want to leave! The two owners, Ashely and Robin are the best saleswomen you’ll ever come across. They know their stuff and they have their customer’s best interests(and looks) at heart. I’ll be a customer for life, for sure! Also — don’t let some of the higher price points scare you. They carry a very wide range of prices with lots of cute tops and dresses under $ 100!
