Silver Point Beach Club

This is my first year being a full time member of the club after coming here for years as a guest. I can not say how more impressed I am with the staff and the grounds. Everything is well maintained and the Cabana kids are always great and helpful. They have multiple amenities including a snack bar, kiddie and adult pools and have a ton of activities for the kids. Definitely a great place to spend the summer with your family.

I was generously invited to come here as a guest of members and was unsure what to expect. I had not been to ny beaches before nor to a private beach club.
Silverpoint was a pleasant surprise. While all of the facilities I observed from the cabanas to the restrooms to the café to the pool and racquetball courts were well maintained, the place offered an unassuming, laid back vibe. The beach was expansive and the sand had a silky texture. Members were playing cards and sharing meals on the cabana. On the beach it seemed as if everyone knew everyone and stopped to say hello and exchange pleasantries as they went for walks.
Perhaps it is my own bias, but when I think of a private club, I think it will be pretentious. There was none of that here. Instead, this is a place in which members can relax by the beach for the summer with a close knit community of friends and neighbors.
