While experiencing AC& Trump casino. I had been hit with some hefty prices for sandwiches, with no sides on this trip so the prices were low for the elegance of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is really quite striking and opulent. Add that to being on the water, so far, so good. They offer 3 course meal options for $ 20.00&$ 25.00, a very good price in this area. The onion soup, certainally didn’t hold up to Gordon Ramsey, but that is comparing apples & caviar. The broth had a good depth of flavor, a lot of onions & cheese… it was fine. My pasta was overcooked and underseasoned, so I tweeted it a bit & it was okay. Overall for AC an elegant place to get a fine meal without breaking the bank. What’s a girl to do? When out of town, try to find some decent food at a fair price.

Love this place! It’s my go-to restaurant in Atlantic City, besides the buffets. Super affordable and every time I’ve been there the staff were always nice and attentive. So sad they may be closing :(

Went & sat outside with a friend on a slow Monday & was served by a sweet ball of energy Andrea. She was fantastic, sweet, adorable & a great server. I was there with a friend & after I paid my bill & tipped her(nothing extravagant maybe 20%) she ran outside & yelled thank you to us as we were already walking on boardwalk. I went back another day & she was not there & the server was equally nice. I left the morning of her next shift or otherwise I would been back Thursday. I also sent an email to the manager as well. Too many only complain about service, I owned a business for 10 years & loved when a customer would take the time to contact me about an employee that made them feel good about my business!

My kids and I have eaten lunch there three times during our week. We liked the BLT wrap. Service was good, ambience good, pricing good… Food was good but not great. Convenient and good.

Pretty poor service, standards and quality of food. After asking the hostess if there was anything vegetarian on the menu all we got as a response was, «probably», after an awkward silence of me waiting for her to tell me the veg options(which she didn’t do until I further asked, «what are the veg options?!») she then didn’t know and had to ask someone else. So initially it wasn’t a great impression. Food arrived and it was pretty meh, for me and my fellow meat eating company, dessert wasn’t nice(which I never thought I would ever type). Also they tipped themselves 18% for this service(tipping yourself is always a bit presumptuous if you ask me, let the customer judge your service, especially when your service is rubbish and food average.) I would give this place a miss!

Came here for dinner on a bachlorette party weekend. The prices are really good, and the food was yummy. Nothing really stood out though. The setting is a little bland, and the place has no bathroom, fyi. You have to walk into the Trump to get to one. The food came out quick, and the server was very pleasant. I really enjoyed the Antipasti, peppers were perfect. My chicken dish was yummy, tasted completely like Marsala though, which I love so that was fine. Couldn’t eat anymore, so took the cheesecake home. No complaints eating it at 8am lol I’d come here again to eat, but not for a special occassion.

I’ll keep this short and sweet… the food was just ok and the service was horrible. I ordered the three course gourmet special…1st course — field greens salad with white balsamic dessing… delish. 2nd course — pasta — Gemelli Primavera with zucchini, green beans, squash, tomatoes, mushrooms, olive oil, garlic… all those beautiful colors and veggies but it was so bland… like no. I’m not a big salt user so for me to have to add what I did… it hurt me. 3rd course/Dessert… Fruit… they didn’t even get that right. I understand what ‘assortment” means, but grapes, a few hard melon pieces and like one strawberry should not be acceptable… and it wasn’t all that cold. Ugh. I was with a group of friends so our meals varied but we were each not impressed. I had a piece of the chocolate cake though, it was good. The best thing was the salad… that dressing is EXCELLENT… so good I asked what brand it was and where I could buy it… sadly they only make it in house. It was great dipping a little bread in it too. We had outdoor seating and there were these seagulls… they had to be related the way they kept ganging up on us and the other patrons. Other than the bird attacks and a gross spider web, it was typical outdoor beach seating. Good spot for people watching. It gives off this classy feel from the outside but the truth beyond the aesthetic is ugly. The service was hot garbage. Our waitress was terrible. I wish I took a pic of her and was able to post it so I can warn everyone not to get her. Slow as molasses, inattentive, slow as all get out, forgetful, she was friendly but damn. Would I go back? Of course! Just for bread and that salad.

Ate here for dinner on the last night of a girls weekend in AC. The price was really attractive — $ 23 for a 3 course menu. I ordered the field green salad, which was fine. The dressing was tasty. My main entrée was vodka pasta, which was bland. It needed more cream and spices — tasted kinda like plain tomato sauce. My friend ordered the same dish as me, but was given a considerably less amount. The kitchen was careless in plating. My other friends were not impressed with their meals — the chicken was not tender, and bland as well. For dessert I opted for the cheesecake. It was alright — nothing special about it. Service was pretty slow, and our waiter didn’t know much about the menu when we had questions. Overall: great price, but we could have found a better place.

Seriously, don’t quite follow the people. Place is very sweet for romantic dinner. Prices are very affordable. food is tasty, service is fast. I am a European who have been to numerous places. I think people either forgot how to appreciate or simply never had any experience beside NJ shore, and when sometimes it happened that they go somewhere they can not be happy. Open up your mind÷peace

I’ve had a lot of Italian food in my life, and the experience is always different at different restaurants. This restaurant looked good upon entrance. The décor was pleasing to the eye and the workers were nice(though inexperienced). The food was just good enough, though it had the potential to have been great. To sum it up, I wasnt wowed by the place.

Alright so Evo is currently the only open and operating restaurant inside the Trump Plaza hotel. The décor is really nice and elegant and doesn’t match the menu in terms of price. They look upscale so you may assume they have upscale prices but they don’t. They have a three course for $ 20 menu section(Definitely beats Applesbees 2 for 20) and three course for $ 25 section which has steak options on it. We were seated by entrance off of the boardwalk and wasn’t excited about that so we kindly asked to be moved. We were seated else where without any problems. I ordered the onion soup as an appetizer. It was okay. Nothing grand about it as I have had better onion soup at diners. My entrée was the Chicken Franchese which was really good and had a great lemon butter sauce. I kept dipping the soft bread into the sauce, our waiter kept our bread basket full. Their roasted potatoes was also pretty good and a nice touch since every other place usually does mashed potatoes. The portions were really good and fair for the price of the meal. We were full so too our dessert to go. Overall is was a good experience with good food with great portions for a decent price. Service was excellent and attentive. The only thing, I’m a lover of lemonade. I pretty much order it everywhere unless I’m getting an alcoholic beverage and there’s seem a lot watered down. I’m not sure if it was on tap or not but it shouldn’t be severed. Whenever in AC I would consider coming here again.

On Saturday, February 1st: My boyfriend and I were staying at the Trump and spent most the night in the casino. It was late night and we were hungry so we decided to order food from EVO. We planned on taking the food to-go(back to our room), so we stood at the hostess stand and looked through a menu. As we discussed things we wanted to order, we noticed two girls at the bar staring at us with dirty looks. We knew they were ease dropping on our conversation and watched them whisper to one another. We ignored them until my boyfriend over heard them call me a «LOUDASSBITCH». I am still really confused as to why I was called a «loud ass bitch» by two random girls but of course, we became angry. Words were exchanged between them and my boyfriend(he was sticking up for me). Their biggest mistake was mentioning that they worked there. I have been in the restaurant business for six years and I know that no matter if you’re off-the-clock or on, you DONOT start trouble with customers. Just because your shift is over, you are clocked out and now having food/drinks at the bar doesn’t mean you are considered a customer. You are still an employee of that establishment and you still need to act respectful. They were actually still in uniform, how stupid can you be?!! My boyfriend and I ended up walking away after fighting with these off-the-clock waitresses and we ordered nothing. Not only did the restaurant not receive our business that night but they never will in the future, which is disappointing considering it looks like a nice place. You can thank your staff for that one, EVO! I regret not asking for a manager or at least getting the names of the disrespectful waitresses. I remember the woman who gave us menus had very short blonde hair, but I guess that’s not going to help me.

Nice, friendly atmosphere. We frequented here during lunch and we were seated promptly. Our waitress was really friendly but did forget the bread. My guest ordered the blackened tilapia, seasoned vegetables and roasted potatoes. I ordered the chicken fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and a small Caesar salad. The food was brought our very quickly. My pasta was surprisingly delicious and my guest enjoyed his fish as well, although I don’t believe he cared for the seasoned vegetables. Fairly decent prices as well for our lunch entrees.

It was OK. A nice place to eat outside and the food is Ok. I got the prosciutto and mozz app which was barely anything but good. Charbroiled steak was decent but would have been good to know it was a salad. Anyway, a few fatty strips were on top of a giant pile of arugula salad. The menu said it was a lemon oil dressing but it was too sweet and might have been more honey mustard. Anyway, eh.

Stopped in for dinner on a brisk Thurs(19 Sep) evening. Easy to be seated. Impressive décor and very warm. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. I went for the 3 for $ 20. Five onion soup. Prosciutto & Mozzarella and Calamari Rrabbiata/Spaghetti pasta/Spicy tomato sauce, hot cherry peppers. And this was very good. the spicy of this dish was not omg give me some water but it was noticeable spicy. This was very different from the tradition Spaghetti dish. And the Calamari was prepared very well. When I finished it. And as I looked around. This might be a bestest dish here because I seen about 6 other people were enjoying the same thing. This would be a place to return to when I am in AC.

You would think if you’re in Atlantic City, on the boardwalk, you would think that a nice looking restaurant on the boardwalk would have some tasty food. Not this one. We stopped by here during our last day in Atlantic City and it was conveniently close to Bally’s Casino and Hotel, where we stayed. We had the Chicken Parm, Chicken Marsala, and for our appetizer we got a mozzarella with prosciutto. Like the 2 star rating says, Meh. I’ve experienced better.

Do not like the service and the food wasn’t great. Our servers were extremely bad and didn’t assist us most of the time. He brought the next table the food and apparently one of the customer didn’t like it and he brought that to us and it was so rude. I will not return to this place.

Ehhh, I had better. Stop by here because we stayed at Bally’s and it was close by. Mozzarella with prosciutto — I couldn’t even believe the small portion and it was tasteless Chicken Parm — Too breaded and it was a bit stale Chicken Marsala — Really too sweet Nothing I couldn’t make at home.

When all other restaurant options seemed to be packed, my friends and I wandered over to Evo, enticed by a 3 course meal for $ 20 advertising. There was a 30 min wait for our group of 6 on a Saturday night. I ordered the garden salad, mozzarella and prosciutto and the pasta primavera. All were pretty good and over all a good deal for the price and a less expensive dinner in AC. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food as well and most of us had plenty left over. We ordered 2 pitchers of Sangria for the table, which although was pretty tasty and refreshing– it was very weak and NOT worth the $ 32 per pitcher.(I seriously doubt there was any alcohol in there).

Great location, very clean, and the food is great. We try to have lunch here during the summer months… and just sit outside, and people watch. Food is great… we usually order a pizza and salad. Prices are very reasonable also. Great way to enjoy some food, and get some entertainment.
