I think we just had one of the best steaks; 18oz NY Strip, medium rare. Delicious! Ceasar Salad and Baked Potato rounded out the meal. We made a res on open table and they seated us on arrival. Everything went smoothly from there and food was delicious. Pricey but they deliver the goods.

Always great. First time reviewing it even though I am a regular there. Paul Sandler and his staff are always right onpoint.. Wayne and Anthony the managers are knowledgeable friendly and go out of their way too make you feel comfortable. We usually split the 36 ounce ny strip carved tableside with some salads and sides. you can never go wrong with that and a bottle of Educated Guess Cabernet Sauvignon. Do not forget the chocolate cake or carrot cake for dessert if you have room

The food is 5 star with good pricing. The waiter was friendly and entertaining. I ordered the skirt steak and was very juicy, cooked perfectly. The staff checks on your table a lot so the service is great

We really like this place due to many factors — great wine selection and steaks cooked the way I like it — proper medium rare. Also, they have a very professional polite waiters — it is very important in places like that. Thank you for amazing experience, will come back soon

Everything was TERRIBLE!!! One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Arrived Saturday night before Valentines day it wasn’t super packed and there was ample enough staff but I have never felt so ignored in my life. Once seated by the bar area waiter arrived promptly, but I felt totally rushed. I had ordered a particular drink whiskey drink, waiter wasn’t sure if a certain ingredient was available. He asked the bartender who was right across from us if it could be made bartender rudely replied, «No F**KIN way… we don’t have that!» I was shocked. As we waited for drinks I notice everyone being served water and a bread basket, which we NEVER received! Isn’t it a given to always offer water and bread. We were obviously being ignored by staff. Upon observation everyone was being checked on, but not my boyfriend and I. I felt totally slighted and even discriminated against being we were the only young minority couple there. We finally got our water and a bread basket after my boyfriend had to flag down a different waiter who did apologize. Throughout the night our main waiter never checked on us, except when wanting to give us the check. We received our apps, drinks, and entrees by different staff members. Yet no one asked us if we were okay, needed more drinks, we had to flag everyone ourselves. For a high-end dining experience I get better service at a drive-thru. When my main entrée arrived I didn’t have a fork or knife as it was taken away with our appetizer. Was I supposed to eat with my hands! I sat there for a good 10mins trying to flag a staff member to give me a damn fork. I was fuming and agitated for the rest of the night. The appetizer(bacon wrapped scallop) and entrée(filet mignon) were good, although plating was sloppy and it was just messy and plopped on. I lost my appetite and could barely eat. I was so disgusted by the service. My boyfriend’s chicken parm. was chewy and had the consistency of string cheese. Brussel sprouts were under seasoned and mushy. Goat cheese mash potatoes tasted like it came from a box– gritty, not smooth, could barely taste the goat cheese. I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there, I was just so uncomfortable. Felt terrible because this was supposed to be our Valentine’s dinner. I wish I had made a complaint, but I just hate to be that person and don’t like confrontation. I just wanted to leave. Service and staff: Rude and in the wrong profession Food: Meh. Price: Rip-off Overall experience: THEWORST

Amazing dinner. Everything was incredible from start to finish. Crab cake appetizer was delicious. French onion soup was the best I have ever had. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. And the flourless chocolate cake was the perfect end. One of my favorite dining experiences. The waitstaff was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. If you are looking for a special night out, you can’t wrong with this choice.

Food — 4 stars Filet Mignon — excellent. barely needed a knife to cut it and it melted in my mouth like butter. Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes — delicious, light, creamy. Hit the spot. Asparagus — disappointing, deep fried, not good. Restaurant Atmosphere/Décor — 2 stars It was so depressing, outdated and strangely decorated. For a place that serves high end food, with high end price tags, you deserve at least a hallway decent atmosphere and the Palm did not deliver. I probably wouldn’t come back here again, tons of other steakhouses to explore in the area.

When you goto a steakhouse you expect to eat a good piece of steak but when you goto a finer establishment like Palms you expect only the best. Sadly the steak I was served was worst than what you would get at a local burger joint. I was so shocked that I was served something so poorly that I asked to speak to the manager who saw my plate and immediately apologized before I could even say what I called him over for! The Palms location in lower Manhattan is a millions time better.

Food is absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp cocktail, chicken parm, filet mignon and creamed spinach… everything was great. Service was good. Host was very welcoming. Waiter was friendly. Food came out fast. Only negative was the bus boy who seemed to be having a bad night… gave us attitude for no reason and didn’t say«you’re welcome» when we thanked him for taking plates from our table. Other than his bad attitude this was a nice dining experience.

My girlfriend was invited to a business dinner being held here, and I was able to be the +1. The atmosphere is amazing, and the food ranks right with it. I am unsure of the normal menu, but the banquet menu was superb. I had the bruchetta and the crab cakes as an appetizer. They had a fine red and white wine as a table wine. The true prize was the main course. I opted for the linguini with jumbo shrimp. I was leery about the amount of shrimp and the course size. I was wrong. The serving was ample, and there were a healthy amount of shrimp in the meal. Top Notch.

I had the best steak of my life here, near the Trop in AC. The 18 oz NY Strip. Just a perfect storm of flavor, tenderness, juiciness. Really a perfect steak. The Clams Casino were tasty. But the steak. 5 stars.

What do you do when you want to go to a steak house, but one family member doesn’t eat red meat, and is notoriously picky? You try the Palm because they also offer Italian specialties which seemed really appealing. Our waitress was great and the food was alright, but for the same price as the other steak houses in town, or for a lot more than many of the other fun restaurants I’d say skip it. The food — though not bad, it was not the quality of steak you’d expect from a place like this. They came out cooked well, but just did not have that much flavor. Compared to other steak houses it fell pretty short. Same with the sides, tasty but mediocre. The serving sizes are large, and my mom’s chicken parm was huge, authentic and done perfectly. She enjoyed it a lot, but the pasta served with it(a $ 12 up-charge that was not mentioned) was rubbery, and seemed like a complete afterthought. The service was great and friendly. However I made the reservations on Open Table and when I called to change the number of people(by only one person) and told the hostess it was my moms birthday, she was rude to the point where I almost told her to forget it. Lastly, and this might not be important to some, but there were a lot of people celebrating things there, including us. Everyone was dressed up, and ready for a special meal. The atmosphere and attitude of the place didn’t seem to provide what we were looking for, it is cute, but I just felt like maybe another place would have fit our expectations better.

My group of friends and I usually go to Carmine’s for our«nice» dinner in AC. We decided this go around to switch it up to the Palm. We were not disappointed. Got three Apps. Calamari — great Bacon — the best ever Scallops — tasty Ten people all got steaks. Only three types chosen though. Ribeye — big, med rare, delicious Filet — melt in your mouth. Cut with a spoon. And the Delmonico — top 5 steak I have ever had. It was a special. It was awesome. Overall little or no complaints. It was expensive, but in my opinion worth it.

Came here on a weeknight when they weren’t too busy, and the service was just super slow. We had made a reservation prior to the dinner, and when we arrived, had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to even greet us. They were not understaffed at all. Later when we were seated, we found a few of them hanging by the kitchen just chitchatting away. The servers were not very familiar with the drinks on the menu and we had to show them where it was on the menu so they knew how to make it. Terrible for a palm. The food itself was good, but the warm cinnamon tossed doughnut holes made up for some of the horrible customer service. I expected a lot more from this restaurant, being a palm, but customer service in other locations(boston being one) is much better.

Classic steakhouse. Very good. I love the beef carpaccio, and crab cake appetizer. The crab cake is all crab meat unlike other places where they add all the breading and other stuff. The sauce thats served with it is great. Steaks are good and cooked perfecting. I love the wild mushroom side. It’s a bit on the sweet side. And i also love the goat cheese mashed potatoes. Overall great food, atmosphere, and service. Must try!

Went to dinner with some friends. We were greeted with a smile upon arrival. Everything was great and cooked to Perfection. I had the seafood risotto. It was flavorful and the seafood was cooked perfectly and not overdone I tried the skirt steak from another person at my table. It was cooked as ordered, tender and had great flavor. Our waiter was on top of everything and truly seemed to wants us to have a great meal. The chocolate bourbon cake for dessert was very good. It was thick and rich. This week was restaurant week. My meal was from the restaurant week menu. Great deal for great food. I will definitely be back.
