Providence Club AC

Came on a friday night, was on a gestalts. We booked our rooms at the Tropicana which was perfect! We arrived around 11:20pm just to get the reduced admission to mens $ 15 cover and ladies free, and it was pretty empty. DJ was playing the jams tho. So great thing about booking a room here (stayed at the west wing) is that, we went right back upstairs to pregame some more then headed back down in half hour, no waiting on lines due to the stamps we received and it was packed. DJ was playing great music, only thing is that later on when the DJ’s switched sets, they replayed a lot of music. A lot of fun, especially with a bunch of friends.

This place has gone down hill. This place use to be good, but I don’t know what happened. I feel like the host don’t keep their words. I hear the new club at borgata has much better service.

I like this place because it’s cheaper than almost everyone nightclub around. But the djs suck plain and simple. I could use my ipod and have a better time. The bouncers are actually pretty cool which is unheard of around those parts. So 3 stars seems right. Get better djs and that could be 4 stars ha.

It was a Friday night when my group of friends and I decided to check this club out. This place isn’t huge because it’s on the upper level of Tropicana. It started off slow with music that I wasn’t really a fan of but it definitely picked up towards the end of the night. Had lots of fun, people are friendly and guys aren’t pushing up on you. The best part was when we took a picture with Patriots Malcolm Butler! I definitely had a good time.

Providence is nice. If you’re staying at the TROP, it’s a nice place to party. The line is usually long and there is a cover charge. The bartenders are cool, I’ve always had good drinks. However the drinks are a bit pricey, so if you don’t want to spend more than $ 10 for a drink I would suggest going to Firewaters for a $ 5 drink before you get there. The music is great too… you will be dancing the entire night!
Overall the place is worth going to! Definitely try out if you are stating at the TROP or in AC for the weekend.

It’s a great place to hang out if your here for the weekend or for a convention. Providence will always show you a good time. The bartneders are. awesoke here. Make sure to tip them because they will always take care of you. They may be small compared to other clubs but they personalize to their customers. I should know. I’ve been coming here for 12 years.

Popped some bottles here this past weekend for my friend’s birthdays. We called a few hours before hand and ordered a VIP table. Upon arrival we were met immediately by the staff and escorted right in. The DJ bumped a mix of TOP 40 and some throw backs that had everyone going wild. Nothing to complain about honestly, we got our liquor and the waitresses poured our first cocktails. We got drunk, we danced, we left. Not much interaction with the staff at all, i don’t know how people really complain about this place. The music was great and there was plenty of girls. I’d definitely come back

This place is a joke. Run by disgustingly rude people. I had 8 beautiful girlfriends with me for a birthday celebration, we were on the guest list and they tried to make us pay a ridiculous cover before midnight on a Friday night… Wtf. No, thank you. I’m glad we chose not to go in because it appeared only trash went to this club. And the bouncers we’re extremely arrogant just when I asked a simple question. Get over yourself… You’re a shitty club in shitty AC. I’ll never come back to this low-​class establishment.

If you’re staying at Tropicana, then coming to Providence to party is perfectly fine. You and your party will have a great time especially since you can go to your room and back as many times once you get stamped. However, it’s not worth staying at another hotel and cabbing or driving to Tropicana to party here. In which case, I would recommend going to another club.
The music was alright, nothing special We came on a Saturday. I personally don’t think it’s worth getting bottle service here, but if you happen to choose Providence to party at and you’re not staying at Tropicana, then yes I would suggest bottle service, but the drinks are not that expensive so it’s really just a personal choice. They have a cover charge but if you’re having your birthday there, then you and your party can get either free (for girls) or reduced admission (for guys).

I can’t say that I have ever had a bad time at Providence. It is the perfect place to have a bachelorette party, I actually had my own here and have crashed a few as well. There is a mix of people just here to have fun, get drunk and dance on poles.
It does have a $ 10 cover after midnight, so make sure you get on the guestlist and get here early. They even make you wait online a little, which is fine since it is all indoors.
The DJ is always playing top 40s and good mixes to get you going. As far as the bartenders I think they pour regular drinks, so don’t expect any fancy cocktails or to get your money’s worth of alcohol here, unless you get VIP. The VIP area is pretty large and around the dancefloor, stadium style which is cool as well.
Being that there are so many places to dance in the Tropicana, I think it is wise to get on a few guestlists and grab a few stamps before deciding where you want to stay the night. That way you save some money and experience a little bit of everything!

We stayed at Tropicana hotel in AC, and we wanted to check out the clubs in AC. Wanted to go to the club in Borgata, but we were too lazy to get on a cab then come back with a cab again later. So we picked this one and it was OK. I was not that big fan of music nor my friends. We stayed there few hours then left. Well, I don’t know if I like any clubs in AC but it is a good experience during the vacation no I cannot complain so much.
Entrance fee is $ 10 for ladies and $ 20 for guys. (expensive lol)

Went with my friends last night and the DJ was terrible.
Cover was $ 10 females and $ 20 for males. The inside looked great but the music had us leave after an hour. This DJ would go from old school to electronic to reggae back to electronic and wouldn’t even have the vibe phase in or out. I’d go from wining with dancehall straight to fist pumping.
We ended up leaving and going to the karoke bar next door. The drinks at providence was expensive and the music wasn’t worth the price. Maybe it’s better on weekends but the Thursday nite DJ was trash

Will never return here. The staff is incredibly insensitive, rude and aggressive. Quick exchange between the bathroom attendant and I: I was looking for my friend in the ladies bathroom so I called out her name. The bathroom attendant replies «She’s not in here,» with 3 stalls closed so I asked «Oh, how do you know that?» with the nasty reply «Cause I know.» It later dawned on me that what she was really saying I was white and no white girls were in the bathroom…

This place is great!
We came here this past Friday for my sisters Bachelorette party.
We had VIP seating and great service since we had bottle service (which was a decent price for AC)
The bouncers are great, not very pushy and very down to earth. The music was Great and the Dj kept us dancing all night. They have 2 cages (one on either side of the room) where they have dancers and if you dare (we definitely did) you can dance with a friend. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely be back!

Came to Providence last night around 11:30 with one of my girlfriends. There was a short line, and cover was $ 15 each. I’m not really used to paying a cover, but ok. The club was moderately full at that time, and continued to fill up throughout the night. Although it was never uncomfortably crowded, it did get quite warm in the room.
Music was a little hit or miss from both DJ’s; mostly EDM, some top 40, and bits of great old school hip-​hop and reggae thrown in. I’m not too big into electronic music, so I could’ve done without so much of it, but everyone on the dance floor seemed to love it.
The main thing that really soured my experience here was an interaction I had with one of their bouncers. As previously mentioned, the space gets a little overheated, especially after dancing, so I very kindly asked the bouncer patrolling the VIP area next to us if he could hand me a napkin from the unoccupied table literally four inches behind him.
Instead of helping a sweaty sister out, he gruffly told me that I’d have to go to the bathroom to get my napkin. Mind you, that would entail me traversing the crowded dance floor to get to the opposite side of the club. I actually couldn’t believe the lack of common courtesy that was extended to me by an EMPLOYEE of the business I just paid to get into. My time there had been ok until then, but that whole ordeal just pushed it over the edge and left a really bad taste in my mouth.
I can get over the cover charge, room temperature and constant dance music, but I don’t do rude bouncers on ego trips with no manners. I will not return, but if you fall into the EDC crowd and don’t expect any sort of decency from the people who work here, then it’s worth a shot.

I only come here if I’m staying at the Trop and I’m too lazy to go anywhere else. Get on the guestlist and girls are free, guys are $ 10 Friday nights.
The place wont get packed til after midnight and you will hear the DJ repeat songs consistently… like they only came in with 20songs to rotate. Drinks are expensive at $ 15 for mixed, $ 8 for beer. Leave, go to Wet Willies and come back.
Really the stars are for convenience. If you’re with your crew, you’ll have fun, otherwise gtfo.

Don’t make me wait in line for no reason, that’s so over rated.
I hate when clubs do that thing where they keep people waiting outside in a line and then you walk in and the spot is empty. Like really are you trying to edge us or what? It was my girlfriend’s birthday and she had bottle service too, we got there at 11:20pm on a Thrusday night, it was not packed yet they made us wait for God knows what.
Now the party don’t start till we walk in, or maybe not. Wtf? No DJ? I hate that! I don’t get too excited off a playlist. I don’t understand how u run a clulb without a DJ. Is this an AC thing? I love to hear liove mixes and see the DJ work the crowd, if I wanted to listen to a playlist I could do that from home.
So we were escorted to our area, what I appreaciated is the fact that the bouncers weren’t annoying with the crowd control, then it again it wasn’t that crowded, but they were cool not trying to be all pushy and rude. However, the funny part was when my friend was video taping our friends on the dance floor and this «dancer» started yelling at her not to video tape her, security came and told us that we were not allowed to take pics of this hood rat or video tape her either. We were like don’t flatter yourself nobody cares about you! Meanwhile some dude got beat up pretty bad, it was hard to have a good time after watching somebody get hurt in that manner.
At about 1am the DJ came in and he was cool, did a lot of mash ups and moslty played current hip hop and 90’s. I like the presentation of the chicks that bring in the bottle service with confetti and glow sticks. They look pretty hot doing it and they don’t complain if you take pictures with them.
All in all it was a solid 2!

Located inside the deepest parts of Tropicana, you will find this gem to a nightclub. Its not one of the fanciest clubs around and its definitely not the biggest. But hey, this is Atlantic City and for that i give you a very good option.
Were here during low season and this place offered a packed club on a regular Thursday night. I guess the ppl here consolidates to the clubs that are opened during weekdays, but anyhow this was definitely worth a try.
Drinks are regular pricing, and you they have a great dancefloor in the middle. So you shouldnt go here expecting Vegas glance, but you should go here expect shaking your a** off!

I loved this place the music was great and it was crowded without being too packed. It was $ 10 for girls since it was after midnight.
There was a female DJ which was amazing I believe her name was June.
This club is very trendy and remember to dress to impress.
My friends and I had a great time here and danced the night away.
