Was sad to see this location has now closed… this was my go-to lunch spot on my quarterly trips to AC/Harrahs…all the places in the food court here are closed with a sign saying new«exciting food choices coming soon»…

Sack O’ Subs is my go to place for breakfast when staying at Harrah’s. Whether you need to cure a hangover or just need some eggs to start your day, you can’t go wrong with Sack O’ Subs. Our go-to sandwich is the Egg & Cheese sub with american cheese. It’s about 9 inches long and easily big enough for two people to share. My husband and I shared one this morning before checking out. It definitely satisfied our hunger cravings. The bread is always soft and the cheese is nice and melty. The soft drinks have free refills as well, so save your cup. It’s a perfect way to get a caffeine fix before your long drive home.

ate here twice during our stay-cation. once for breakfast and it was really good. we got a sub with eggs, peppers, and sausage. we also had the pancake platter which comes with hash browns and sausage/bacon. I also ordered a small coffee and a soda. I thought the coffee was a pretty good deal. the small is a very good size and I think it was only 1.95? The pancakes were nice and fluffy. the hash brown was your typical hash brown which is great. sausage was the big sausage not the skinny ones, so that was good. my bf really liked his egg sub and wanted another lol. we came back another time for a before dinner snack and shared the chicken parm sub, it was good but not great. overall, a really good place to eat. the workers are really nice as well so that’s a plus

We eat at Sack O’s whenever we need a quick bite. Both myself and the children enjoy eating there. I highly recommend their Philly Cheesesteaks and fries. It’s a quick fresh bite that includes great taste and service.

Took a Staycation to Harrahs this past week-end, and even tho the weather was really Bad, We Never left the Hotel Once, The Best thing about Harrahs is that eating Is Never a problem, and I fell in love with a Place all over again because of their French Fries, I Have No-Idea what Sack-O-Subs does to it’s fries But for some reason we could not get enuf of them, we had them for Lunch, and even as a Snack, And it got so Bad that We Had to have an order before turning in for the night, Te Subs are good too, But for me the Fries were the Serious JOINT!!!

Inside ballys casino this sandwich place has the best chicken sandwiches. You can custom order almost anything. I also ordered pancakes which were really good. It is almost like a diner. There are a lot of tables so seating was not an issue.

I love that Harrah’s has some good fast, cheap eats which are a great alternative to the buffets. Also love the fact that you can use comps here, which according to a sign at the Bally’s chain that comps are now 1:1 instead of 2:1. The bf and I have ordered both their breakfast and regular subs. Between the 2 of us, we tried the Egg & Ham sub($ 6.95), Cheese Steak sub($ 8.75), and their Regular which is all Italian meats and Provolone($ 7.50). Big filling subs with fresh ingredients.

yummy stuffed subs. the«hot» peppers are really sour peppers that overwhelm the flavor of the sub. Cheesesteak: excellent, and the cold sub with salami and capocolla was a great take-out sub for later. Next time I will ask for light mayo… Unlike the original sack o subs, this place only has one size sub. Friendly service.

I love Italian subs, so I was happy to find sack o subs in Harrahs. I shared a sandwich with the works on it. I was not impressed, it was ok, not great. The cost was about $ 10. With a soda. It filled us up, the service was fast and efficient.

Surprisingly my review is all about the wings which we had here rather than the subs. I was craving for wings so instead of ordering salad or subs which all of friends did, I went with the order of wings with blue chesse and hot sauce. For $ 9.95 that was a sweet deal. Those wings were awesome and were really fresh, tender and flavorfull. After tatsing the wings all my peeps wanted wings. We ate this place back to back twice in a day. The staff was über friendly and nice. Definitely a place to be if craving some really nice wings!

I have been a loyal customer at the OCNJ Sack O Subs location, so when I needed something cheap & greasy to sop up some alcohol whilst in Harrah’s in AC, I knew where to stop. For $ 5.75 for a grilled cheese, I don’t know if it could be considered cheap, but definitely the cheapest thing around those parts. That being said, it was a very tasty grilled cheese! I also got split pea soup here, and was surprised at how good it was. My husband got a buffalo chicken cheesesteak which he said was just alright. All in all, I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for the cheapest possible eats in Harrah’s!

I’m writing this so that everyone staying at Harrah’s knows they do not have to avoid eating at the hotel. Usually, it’s a last resort for us, but based on Formica Brothers Bakery recommendation(They use their bread; this shows they care about good ingredients) we made sure to give their ‘Jersey Subs’ a try. OMG. Especially if you are a tourist to Atlantic City, you HAVE to try a cheesesteak sub, with the works. The ingredients are fresh and it actually didn’t feel quite that guilty… you know, half a sub each would have been plenty, so it really is an economical and great meal. I am still trying to recreate this at home, with no luck. And, we had no time or tummy room to try the meatball sub. I guess we will have to return! They have all kinds of food, but we recommend the subs, you can get fries anywhere! And, if you want to have authentic cappucino and Italian baking(cannoli to die for), go to the source and check out Formica Brothers Bakery on Arctic Avenue, where the bread for the subs is made.

Located in the food court at Harrah’s casino Sack O’ Subs is a must for late night caloric consumption or breakfast sandwich overload. Awesome egg and cheese sub! Delicious and only around $ 7 a sub. Large and filling. Great spot to hit up after partying at the pool late at night, or in the morning for a quick breakfast. Great view of all the drunken meatheads making fools of themselves, and of the plastered Snookie and Jersey Shore look-alikes /wannabees falling down in their overly high heels. Grab a sub, find a good spot to eat, and enjoy the show! All types of subs on the menu — hot, cold, meats, chicken, egg, vegetarian, etc. Will take cash, credit cards, and comp dollars. Be aware that it is double the amount if using your Harrah’s comp dollars so it is more worth it to pay in cash. Everything here tastes great, and is worth every penny.

I ordered the super cheesesteak here– was not all that great. I only ate half of it. The best thing on the menu was probably my friend’s turkey club. The bacon was crispy and delicious in it.

First, I think Sack O’Subs is a great name. that is probably the main reason we chose to eat here. Second reason is that the prices were actually reasonable and we didn’t want to spend too much money on food at this casino. Their subs are nice and large and we were actually able to eat half and save the rest in our fridge for breakfast. Probably the best deal for your money in Harrah’s! And delicious.

Just a little sub shop in the Harrahs Hotel food court. Friendly service and the food is decent. You get free refills if you purchase a soda. I found that to be pretty awesome. They are open till 12am during the off season.

Inside Harrah’s casino, I’ll say this place is «as good as it gets» to grab a big bite to eat without breaking the bank as is always the norm for casino grub. It’s also one of the few places that opens up first inside Harrah’s. Even the café was still closed at like 8 in the morning. The first morning, we ordered the Egg Pepper Ham and Cheese sub. It was big, filling, and hit the spot. Half the sub is about as filling as a traditional breakfast sandwich… so we just split one between the two of us. The second morning we decided we wanted to try another place. That’s when we realized that none of the cafes were really open. Only Temptations Chocolate and Coffee, and a some sit-down restaurants serving breakfast were open. But quite simply the food was awesome.

Yesterday, I was looking for some cheap eats in Harrah’s. After passing by the $ 30 Waterfront Buffet, I entered the small food court area. Sack O’ Subs is located at the leftmost end and their menu was extensive. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to order. I ordered a cheese steak and the employee was very friendly and not pushy despite the huge line building up behind me. The food took a while to come out(due to the ridiculous amount of people), but it didn’t look too bad. In all honesty I thought it was going to look much worse. The sandwich was tasty with it’s melted provolone and had a little kick of spiciness from the peppers that were put on it. The sandwich could have been prepared a little better too, there was a good 2 – 3 inches off the ends that didn’t have any meat at all. It’s not bad though. If I’m looking to eat cheap, and in Harrah’s again, I’ll come here. The prices aren’t TOO overpriced and the food isn’t too bad and definitely exceeded my expectations.
