This place shouldn’t be dead on a Saturday night in the summer. There was so much potential for T Street to be an exciting and popular spot, possibly helping to revive AC. The new nightclub, WAV, was open that night. I had no interest in clubbing, but noticed an email offering free and discounted cover. About a dozen people sat around Monkey Bar. A sign said that the dueling piano bar would be open at 10pm. Everything else appeared closed. Garces is no longer handling the catering. The website sucks so I don’t know what the deal with the T Street food is. It should have been a lively, hot scene rather than a desolate ghost town. I’d love to be proved wrong with this review update, but for now I won’t be holding my breath.

What a joke ! We wasted our NYE here. We read the event details for this venue and were excited even though the«VIP» tickets were sold out. They said that there was a 5 hour open bar and other bars to enjoy. Unless you had a «VIP» ticket you had access to the middle atrium bar and the Nightclub. Thats it, nothing else. Could not get a drink to save our lives however we did get each a small bottle of champage. So after almost $ 200 for us to «attend», we keft to disappointed and horrified. Horrified because of a fight between two young«ladies» and the«FREE» champagne we wore it home on very expensive attire because we were told to «dress to impress». I will never attend an event here even for«FREE»

The music is so loud I can’t hear myself think. Boyfriend and I tried to escape the deaf loud music that was all over the boardwalk. Came here to sit outside and hear the ocean, but we can’t Bc instead, there’s random loud music of all genres. I’ve been watching older couples, groups of them come and leave after 5 minutes. No one is dancing out here, lower relaxed music would be better. Or none at all!!! God bless, but someone needs to do their market research. There’s an untapped niche market, trying to find some good clean family friendly relaxed fun. This is not Vegas, and people don’t completely come to AC expecting for it to be Vegas everywhere, the jersey shore is a beauty in its natural state. I don’t know. I’m annoyed.

T street is the new and innovative concept by Bart Blatstein. It has been receiving a lot of press because of Blatstien’s big name — which also brings criticism and expectation. I went in with an open mind, reserving any of my personal biases, and wanted to check out this new venue AC has to offer. I love visiting AC and recently, there ahsn’t been much going on for it. I visited a few weeks after a rushed opening. I am sure they wanted to get some of the Summer 2015 crowd, so I knew it wasn’t fully developed yet. What I saw was a lot of potential for this place to be really awesome– catering to an eclectic group of people. There are all different bars from a karaōke bar, speakeasy, dance club, and everything in between. I really liked that. The venue, if implemented properly, also seems promising. It has a great set-up, and I would really enjoy seeing a show(of my liking) there. People of different ages and tastes can enjoy this places if it ends up delivering, which I really hope it does. I am rooting for it, but am also still a bit hesitant to see what it will end up looking like when finished.

A $ 10 cover on a Friday night when there’s hardly anyone inside is a risky idea for a spot that’s trying to catch on. We walked around prior to the cover being implemented and it looked like it was going to be cool although it’s definitely confusing. Our intent was to go back for dinner and drinks later in the evening but no one was feeling it enough to shell out the extra money. I’m willing to try it again but definitely not on a night where I have to pay to do it.

I went to the soft grand opening for this place held on the Thursday prior to the grand opening. My overall feeling about this place is meh. …meh. They offered sample sizes of some of the food they plan to offer and it was nothing to write home about. In fact so much so that I’ll leave the food details at just that. It’s what I expect to be overpriced pub food(price list or menu wasn’t given to us) and with several locations it didn’t feel as if any actually offered a variety of food. Pub, pub, everywhere. The concept is there but T Street offers no form of originality that makes it worth going to in place of similar places. In fact, with the location in a mall I actually felt that the venue and placement was a bit awkward. While there is no place quite like it in Atlantic City I don’t find that it’ll be a location to really drive in visitors. Let’s face it, AC is a dying city and well in need of attractions to bring tourists and money back into the area. Perhaps when it’s completely finished it will better represent the vision. I personally felt the venue was one-dimensional and for the amount of space could’ve offered a greater variety of music/food to fit various preferences. For now, I can say the live music is a nice addition. In some places it was played so deafeningly loud that it was difficult to really sit, eat and converse if that’s what you chose to do. However, If that’s your scene you’ll likely enjoy it but its also worth noting that the majority of music was country/bluegrass. The drinks were okay. There were no specialty drinks/menu offered but the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable at preparing classics. As of right now this is not on my must do list for when I visit AC and doubt it will ever be. However, I will be fair and return when the venue is completely finished and possibly update my review.

Cool idea will work once they get it finished. Beer selection needs to be better. The bands are on top. of each other. No cover tonight on a Wednesday but I hear it’s 10 on weekends. Overpriced beers of course, 7 dollars.

Great time! A variety of music and bars. $ 10 cover and you get to bar hop and take your drink from bar to bar. Make sure you make it to the end of the pier.
