Do NOT stay here. I’m all for no-frills, inexpensive hotels, but this hotel was bad. The towels in the room were dirty. That skeeved me out beyond measure. I could smell and see that they were unclean. I felt icky taking my shoes off in the room because the carpet looked and felt gross. The AC didn’t work(luckily, despite being August, it wasn’t that hot). When you check in, you will see a sign warning you that the management doesn’t condone illegal activities on the premises. It’s an accurate foreshadowing of the kind of experience you’re going to have… Other minuses: yes, this is Atlantic City, but this area did feel less safe. The walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors. All night. And all morning. There are no fridges in the room. If you want a similarly priced hotel in the area, I suggest the Super 8. I’ve stayed there before and it was much better for the same price. Only pluses: it has free parking and it is the closest cheap hotel to the House of Blues. Might have internet, but I didn’t bring my laptop(nor would I feel comfortable leaving my laptop in the room — the neighborhood is sketchy).
