Paradise Grill

Very, very good. A little pricey on the slab, but worth it. although the hostess seemed as she did not want to see anyone walk through the door. She seemed very unhappy to seat people. But it’s one of the better restaurants in Tipton County.

Great food, great service and nearby, I love this place. I could eat the bbq tacos and egg rolls everyday. The owners/​mangers deserve many compliments for training the staff so wonderfully –I find that service lacks in most places in this area. Great job guys!

Passed this place a thousand times, convinced it was a good ol boy waterin’ hole.
Nice surprise — VERY clean with casual décor — roomy seating downstairs with booths, plenty of seating upstairs with TV’s and a small bar. Also a few seats on the balcony/​upper outside deck.
The wait staff was plentiful and very friendly. Food was served Quickly.
The PULLED BBQ plate was decent — not the most tender or moist I’ve ever had, but not bad. I know that BBQ is a very tough food to be consistent with, so it may have been an off day. Choice of two sides (mine were baked beans & Cole slaw — both good)
I will come back — but probably for a burger next time.

The place used to be the best, hands down. I don’t know if they changed where they order their meat from or what, but it’s not as good as it used to be. Still the best BBQ in the county.

We’ve been avoiding this place at the suggestion of our neighbor who said don’t bother. Well, after a year of passing by it, we bothered. And, we’re glad we did.
We set up on the upstairs outdoor balcony so we could watch the traffic go up and down Hwy 51, while watching a girls softball team practice in the field next door.
But, the food, the food will definitely bring us back again and again.
We started with the BBQ eggrolls. Now, I love eggrolls, and I love BBQ, but together… well it works to perfection. 3, sliced in half, with 4 BBQ sauces to choose from for dipping. EXCELLENT!
We then shared the Paradise Special. $ 20 for: ½ slab of ribs, pulled pork, pulled chicken, grilled bologna, beans, slaw and bread. It was fantastic. Talk about a smoke flavor. (2 weeks earlier we participated in the Kingsford Tour of Champions at MIM BBQ fest, and, picked Big Bob Gibson’s as our favorite shoulder. Well, he won the shoulder division).
Was this as good as Big Bob’s — no, but, for a small place in the middle of nowhere, pretty damn good. Loved the ribs, the flavor of the pork was exceptional, the beans really homemade as was the slaw.
Moral of the story — listen to your stomach, not your neighbor!

Ate there with my family and inlaws. Ribs were to die for. Cole slaw was excellent. Wife and kids had bbq sandwiches. Very good. Wait staff was very attentive. Watched the Rose Bowl upstairs on the projected screen. Great experience!

My family went there because my dad wanted some BBQ. He got a BBQ plate and I got a cheeseburger with everything. The amount of BBQ my dad got was really sad. It was probably portioned for a child. My hamburger was great until I got to the middle. It was 100% raw in the middle. I was really bummed because it was so good until I got to the middle. We, unfortunately, will not be going back.

The place is somewhat by itself which is somewhat strange. The décor in the building is nice and I was greeted warmly by the server. I had a restaurant coupon and I’m glad I was able to use it there. The portions are good and you will get quality food for a decent price. The only thing I would say is that they need more menu items to entice people to come. The paradise grill need crab legs or something that brings a oceans feel to it.

Been here several times since it’s opened. Very friendly staff, excellent BBQ. You have a choice of 3 sauces. I personally loved their beans and potato salad as side items. Some of the very best mustard potato salad I’ve ever had. Great kids menu options as well.

VERY limited menu. GREAT service. Previous customer drove off leaving a purse and a waitress came out trying to run them down without success. Decent décor. Clean restrooms. Music is too loud! Decent portions. Tons of wait and service staff that appear to be proactive in their service but there is a LONG wait on the food. Most of the older locals were looking quite bored and somewhat frustrated with the delay. Had the Gruper nuggets. Greasy, fishy and few on the plate. Bride had ribs, she liked them. I thought they were over smoked. Overall I give this place two months.
