Maybe it’s because we’re from NJ,(relocated thru military) but not sure what the big deal is about pulled pork. It’s called BBQ on the menu but had zero sauce on it? My 15 year old son who eats everything and anything didn’t like it. Didn’t even finish it. Daughters chicken fingers were over breaded and fatty. Husband said ribs were okay. If this is what good food is down here, I’ll just stay home and cook. On a good note, everyone there was super friendly.

I first went to the post office, literally, when it was in the old building. I specifically went for the ribs. Was ok, but I’d had Germantown Commissary the day before so it was stiff competition. I went to the new location for the ribs(only served Friday and Saturday until they run out). The ribs were better this time, and that hot sauce, my gosh! It was so good I squirted more around the plate to sop up with the bread! Nice atmosphere, good helpful staff and just the way a country establishment would be. Doesn’t matter if you’re out of town or from town, you’re always welcome.

Excellent BBQ sandwich with a tangy kick. In the crowded Memphis BBQ market, this stands out a place worth going to if you are in the area.

The food here is awesome! My kids love the cheeseburgers, and the BBQ sandwich and plates are tasty! We like the onion rings and the cheese fries. I would recommend if you are in the area and are hungry, this is the place to go.

This is one of the best barbecue restaurants in the country. They have great pulled pork, the smoke ring is larger than any one else’s. They have the best ribs you can put in your mouth, you don’t even have to have teeth to chew them, even the bone comes out so tender you could eat it. They have a great family special that comes with a pack of buns, two sides, barbecue sauce and a whole pound of pulled pork. Although they are not known for their sides, they may very well have the best onion rings, also. It was originally located in an old post office in Atoka, Tn. The food was fantastic but unfortunately the location was horrible. They had plenty of places to sit but parking was practically non existent. Now, they have moved to a new bigger location off of highway 51. They moved their whole kitchen to the new location, the pits the grills and the fryers are all the same, So the only thing that has changed is the location. There are plenty of places to park now. The décor is nice and rustic, more fitting of a BBQ joint than an old post office. There are tables down stairs and a party area upstairs. Great for family functions or group parties. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
