Had a pleasant visit today when going to SpeeDee for an oil change. I was looking for something quick, as my last oil change (NTB) took 2.5 hours for some illogical reason. Speedee had my car in the garage in about 4 minutes from the time I arrived. There were about 4 other people in the waiting area, so that was surprising. I found their prices a bit high (34.99) for an oil change, but I had a coupon so I figured, what the heck. They vacuumed the car out, checked all of the fluids, and while they did suggest I change my air filter, they didn’t push the issue/​sale at all. I was in and out in about half an hour. Although after reading Unilocalers’ comments on other Speedee garages, I will probably go outside and double-​check that they did, in fact, change the oil. Not someplace I’d go to frequently b/​c of the higher prices, but in a pinch, it worked out.
