So we bought some mini pepperoni packs earlier and only realized when we had got home (20 mins away) that all three packs were spoiled or out of date. Came back to return them and i started «exploring» for other items that were questionable. Needless to say, i was not surprised to find many more spoiled and out of code items on their shelves. I’ll pay the extra 75¢ at SaveMart where at least i know the items are rotated and continuously fresh.

Really nice and I’m usually not a WalMart fan. They actually have enough checkers so things move quickly (usually my biggest issue with WalMarts are the lack of checkers). The selection was very good and the produce looked fresh.

The ONLY reason why I go to the Walmart in Atwater is because Target next door is out and I can’t wait for the item, or if Target doesn’t carry it.
Staff is rude, unhelpful, and act like you are bothering them if you ask for help or assistance. And on that note goodluck on finding help. It seems like no one ever is in sporting goods, paint, hardware, housewares, pets, or the checkout lanes. Yes I said checkout. Why does it seem there is like 15 people in line and only 2 checkout lanes are open, and the «express lane» has the checkers that are the slowest or the most chatty.
I’d rather pay a few extra pennies per item and get better service, a cleaner overall store and a more pleasant shopping experience at Target.

I hate hate Walmart but came with my mom to get a few things workers management supervisors are rude had me on a mission looking for a price scanner while they couldn’t just check a price for me. Why work I am anti Walmart sorry mom your alone next time Target girl all the way I’ll pay more just for great customer service. If I was a low life living off the government I would bite my tongue but that’s not the case !!
I don’t even rate a star I couldn’t leave it blank !

Consistently poor customer service except from the woman with what I believe is an Australian accent (I apologize if I’m incorrect) that works in sporting goods, she is always very helpful and a pleasure to do business with. Store is usually not well kept and bathrooms are not very clean. The checkout lines are almost always long and wait times for help in specific departments are extremely long. After visiting I’m usually reminded why I prefer Target right next door.

Service help is not good, very UNPROFESSIONAL, rude, sarcastic and LAZY. Been a Walmart customer for years and this store and the Merced store are awful. I can’t believe Walmart would find this acceptable. I would rather pay a bit more money and have good service. Target here we come.

I love this walmart its super clean and big way better than the Merced one in my opinion. Most times when I go there the lines are short and fast which is cool becuase most Wal-Mart’s lines are super long

Love the super center, it’s big, clean, and has the cheapest prices in town. Love the new savings catcher app too. Lines are not long like other walmarts. I always shop here first for a good deal.

Most likely every Walmart employees are rude and uncooperative. Very unsupported customer service. Worst worst ever I been to. My suggestion to never return to this department again.

PHOTO CENTER
The instant print machine was out of paper and none of them knew so us customers didn’t either. Once they did find out several employees were wandering around like lost puppies sort of trying to find the keys. Nobody found them. Instant prints means INSTANT. Not a half hour of waiting only to leaved pissed off. I will never use the walmart photo center ever again. CVS in Atwater literally has INSTANT prints right away. None of this 10 minute required wait no matter what crap only to find out there isn’t even paper.

Well, if it would have been the only department store in Atwater I probably would have given it another star just for being there… But… It’s NOT! I hate to be tooo down on it but we do have to face the facts… They seem to have a difficult time keeping the shelves stocked and its not as clean as say, it’s close neighbor… I have also been hard pressed to find someone on the floor –anywhere– to help find a certain item or something like that. The check-​out lines tend to get kind of long too. On the bright side they have a nice enough grocery section and reasonable prices through-​out the store.

Although they have good prices they staff horribly. On a Saturday the busiest shopping day I went in to get paint… there was no one staffed at the paint department, Electronic’s, or Sporting Goods. This is the entire side of the store… There were over 100 cars in the parking lot so my thought was profit over service… After 20 minutes waiting Ifinally gave up and left with the items I bought off the shelf and the funny part is when I got to the Cashier in the garden department there was a picture of the manager and the quote «We appreciate your business and stride for speedy service if you are satisfied please call»

Super Big Great Prices Fast Service.
During a road trip my family and I decided to make a quick stop to pick something up for camp. Finding parking was easy and fast. The store seemed organized well, clean and when we couldn’t find what we needed there was plenty of staff around to lead us in the right direction. They were very helpful. It took us a good 30 minutes top to find and pay for what we needed so in my opinion that is pretty good since Walmart’ss are usually VERY busy and slow with checkout service!

Awesome Store!
This Walmart opened back in March 2011 and was new from the Ground up, This store have very friendly staff and is the cleanest Walmart I have ever been in!
This store has Excellent Grocery Selection and unlike the Modesto Supercenter doesn’t lack your non Grocery selection.
This store is what all Walmart’s should be: Fast, Friendly, Clean, And Low Priced

With a location RIGHT NEXT to Super Target, I was expecting so much more from Wal-​Mart! I was not impressed with this store.
Pro’s:
–It’s super clean. BUT, it’s also brand new. I hope they can make it last.
–It’s big.
–It’s going to keep prices competitive (hopefully).
Con’s:
–It’s the Merced Wal-​Mart, but new, and clean. The only major difference is how wide the aisles are, and a much larger grocery department. The Wal-​Mart Super center does not offer anymore of a variety of items than the Merced location. Each department MAY be slightly larger by offering one more type of t-​shirt or an extra row of laundry detergent. I was disappointed that they put a TON of one item out just to fill the shelves.
I enjoyed shopping at Super Target before I visited this store, and it still stands! Definitely wont be making a special trip to Wal-​Mart any time soon.
