Had the black olive pizza and was delicious. staff was so courteous and friendly. They also do ice cream Baskin Robbins style. Just great experience.

Was in town for a derby pert and decided to try this place out. Glad we did! Very friendly people and the food was great! I ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza. Amazing. Not sure what sauce they use but it unbelievable. My wife got the spaghetti arrabiata. Again… It’s was great. Go see them.

I LOVE the pizza from this place. I have them deliver way more than I care to admit. I always order the same thing(Extra-Large with double-cheese), and it’s hit or miss as to whether or not the resulting pizza *actually* has extra cheese on it. Sometimes, it’s just oozing extra cheese, and other times it’s like my request for extra cheese went in one ear and out the other. That’s the reason I’m giving them 4 stars and not 5. Even when the order is messed up and I only get regular cheese, it’s still really good pizza. I also HIGHLY recommend the Greek Bread. Mmmm… so good.

I’ve been to several Palios in area… Frisco, Plano, McKinney but this one off the beaten path and kinda in the middle of nowhere is the BEST, hands down !! Super clean, they always are so friendly, and accomadation my crazy food allergies. We just arrived thinking they were open until 11pm but instead they close at 10pm and the mgr insisted we could place an order. Well done ! Great attitude and truly understand customer service and fresh food! The more prominent areas could take some lessons from these guys!

The counter help is very good. Pizza was burnt. Sent it back and the cook seemed put out. I don’t like my pizza to have black crust. Sorry. The size of the salads have shrunk and booths are starting to show their age. The Hawiian salad, though smaller, is still delicious. **the cook did come by just now and apologized. Made another pizza which was much better. The first pizza should have never been served though.

I am having to sit outside in the freezing cold like a peasant. The tables inside are filthy and the girls running around can’t be bothered to clean the tables inside. I asked for ranch instead of marinara, got marinara. I asked for Alfredo sauce instead of marinara, got marinara. A bit disappointed with this place.

This is a great little restaurant to meet and eat with friends and family. There is a wide assortment of seating ranging from booths to hightop tables to a screened outdoor area. My family has never had to wait for seating. The food is always good and reasonably priced. My son loves their chicken Alfredo and the wife likes the chicken parmesan. I enjoy their salads which are numerous and have always been well prepared with fresh ingredients. For the kids, they serve ice cream and have a great selection for an after dinner treat. My only reason for making this a 3 and not a 5 star is the service. This, like the other Palios, has staff consisting of teens mostly. While friendly, the service is frequently spotty and inconsistent. I like the food, the price is decent and it is a very casual place to have a meal with family.

Totally different than I expected. This is an order at the counter and then eat on your own type of place. The food, service and atmosphere were all great for the price and location. We had Cesar salad, Classic pizza and a Gyro. Awesome, quick and friendly service. Food was terrific. Going to add this to our list of regulars.

My grandmother lives close by and we were looking for something for dinner. After looking at reviews, we decided on this. We got two vegetarian pizzas(Mederterrain and Greek), a Meat and Cheese Delux, and a beef and pineapple. They said their typical crust was thin, but they had a thicker option. We went thicker. It was all absolutely delicious. Although both veggie pizzas were yummy, the group favorite was the Greek. Next time we come to see our Meme… we will probably be getting this again.

Great pizza. It’s a little pricey but it is high quality. BBQ chicken pizza is our favorite. The Sodona Salad is excellent. Service is great. Great place to celebrate after our kids school concert etc. thankfully they where wise and got rid of that fancy coke machine that caused a long line and got a plane old soft drink machine. Thank you!

The Pizza, calzones and cesar salads are the best in town! My husband and I eat here about once a week and love it! It is byob which is awesome and helps save some money. The pizza is made on fresh dough that you can see resting in the kitchen, the ingredients are fresh and the pizza is always hot! The bad food– to start, we should not have ordered greek food in an italian restaurant but my husband wanted to try the gyro. The gyro was not good at all! It was cold and the meat did not even resemble real gyro meat(kinda of looked like bologna) and it had zero flavor(in their defense, we moved from Florida where there was always fresh greek food with real gyro meat so we were a little spoiled). Service is fast and the atmosphere is great, always sports playing on the TV in a good amount of people in the reataurant at any given time. If you are looking for a great pizza place, look no further!

Stopped in for a casual meal on a Saturday evening. The place was about ½ full so not too busy. Placed our order at the counter and went find a seat. Most of the empty tables were free of used dishes but had not been wiped down so we had to ask a waitress for a rag to wipe the table. Things weren’t starting well. I had ordered a gyro and my wife ordered chicken wings with a tiramisu for desert. The gyro was brought out quickly. As it turns out, too quickly. The chicken wings took another 10 minutes to arrive. When I told the waitress that the gyro was now cold, she explained that the wings take longer to cook. I realized that attempting to explain that timing the completion of the orders is what a restaurant is supposed to do would be a waste of time. We simply finished our meals with me eating a cold gyro. One consolation was that I don’t think the gyro would have been any good if eaten warm. A few thin, tasteless strips of meat do not make for a good gyro whether it is warm or cold. Once we were done with the entrees, my wife waited for her tiramisu. Unfortunately, the timing of service continued to be lacking. Finally, I had to go to the counter to see if the dessert was still coming. Based on the reaction, if I hadn’t asked we would likely still be waiting for dessert. While my wife ate her tiramisu, which was pretty good, I figured out why the place seemed to performing so poorly. I watched the manager walk by our table to return to a booth to sit with what I assumed was a friend. The manager had been at the booth throughout our meal, sharing videos from his phone with his friend. I watched both the manager and his friend go behind the counter to get glasses for soda. When we left, the two were sitting in the outside eating area smoking cigarettes. I don’t know if this restaurant was better in the past, but I wouldn’t expect any improvement in quality or service with this caliber of management.

I like Palio’s. Ate at one in Flower Mound years ago so when this one opened up in Aubrey, I was excited. There is Dominos, etc. in the area but it’s hard to beat Palio’s pizza. The good thing about Palio’s is not only the pizza, but their pasta dishes too. They were way better than the Italian place in the area. They have some great dessert here too… cheesecake, cannoli and tiramisu It’s an order, grab a drink and sit down kind of place where they bring your food to your table. TVs are usually tuned to something sports related. Cons: It is kind of pricey and they don’t offer coupons that I know of. I think the crust on the pizza is good, but could be a bit more crisp on the bottom. Since they cut their pizza in squares you end up with floppy pieces, especially the center pieces.

I don’t know what happened to this place, but it has gone down hill FAST! I call in a delivery order this evening at 9:20. They close at 10PM. Some twit named Haley answers the phone with a tone that screams, «I hate the world!» I say I would like to place an order for delivery and she says she doesn’t think they are delivering anymore this evening. She starts having a conversation with someone else and then decides they are still doing delivery. This may have something to do with the fact that they are still open for another 40 freaking minutes, no? I rarely place the orders, so my phone number has not been updated with our new address(which they just delivered to last week!). This broad says they do not deliver to our subdivision. I call bullshit since this twat is talking out of her ass. She maintains she does not think they deliver to my address and if they do, it won’t be tonight. Guess what Palio’s Crossroads… you are just lost a legit loyal customer(see my previous reviews). Haley has got to go. Papa Johns was more than happy to fulfill our $ 60 order. What happened to this place? I know the rent is not cheap in that barn looking building. Pair that with the fact there are 7 other pizza places who will deliver to our community without any employees giving a hard time to. This location may not be around much longer…

The pizza is fabulous as well as the Greek gyro and Greek salad. We ate a large half«the jimmy» and the prestino. The Jimmy is spicy with sauce and jalapeños, sweet with corn, and salty with bacon. The prestino is sauceless, sliced meatballs, and feta, along with other toppings.

This Palio’s has stolen my heart. I previously went to the one on Loop 288 because it was closer, but the ambiance and overall feel of the Cross Roads location most definitely wins, hands down. They’re under different owners, apparently, so there are a few minor differences between the branches. Palio’s is the perfect place for an informal date. It’s BYOB, so you can keep the cost down by bringing your own booze. The lighting is just the right kind of dim to allow for casual conversation with a precious little fireplace in the center of it all… AND they choose good music. Normally some sort of old school jazz lounge or swing tunes, which fits so well. The restaurants interior is well-decorated and overall, pretty damn cozy. There is also outdoor seating on the screened-in patio, which I’ve not yet taken advantage of, but look forward to in the cooler coming months. The pizza is just divine. I haven’t had a thing I didn’t like… even when I got ballsy with pizzas like«The Scorcher» or «The Nutty Chicken.» My ideal order starts off with a greek salad followed by «The Ralphie,» add spinach on whole wheat crust, with a side of ranch. The salads are plenty big to split between two(which they’ll do for you even without asking) and a large pizza will send you home STUFFED for around 20 bones(or with leftovers if you actually have restraint, unlike me.) I worked with the owner’s wife, Sarah, most recently to cater custom pizzas for my wedding. She was FANTASTIC. If I was able to give them over 5 stars, I most definitely would. We did a detail meeting a couple of months in advance to secure the menu and finalize the quote and she spoiled us with tastings of all sorts of pizzas on the house. She was very enthusiastic about helping and was a real pleasure to work with. She even was willing to come by our rehearsal to ensure we had the correct set up to accommodate 45 pizzas(yum!) and ended up transforming our boring pizza line into a true masterpiece. She brought decorations from home and really took it to the next level– I couldn’t have been happier! So, whether it’s where to eat this Friday night or who to cater your next event, give this Palio’s a try!

I’m a little surprised by the negative reviews. I have always found the food good and the service excellent. As a teacher in the area, I sometimes happen upon the occasion that I can get away for a longer lunch. The lunch specials at Palio’s are excellent. I get the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and it comes with chips, a salad, and a drink. It comes out to about the same price as a Subway sandwich meal, but the food is better and I get more. I can’t think why people feel the need to complain, but to each their own I guess. Oh, and the pic on the page proves: they do have bathrooms…
