Kunal and Michael are the guys here. They make best sandwiches here. Super neat and clean.

Out of bread. Out of BREAD? At noon on a Monday? Sure, I get that supplies aren’t infinite, but when you consider that Subway makes the bread in the store, being out of everything but flatbread is pretty ridiculous. Lucky me, I managed to snag bread before they ran out. Even luckier, the one type of bread they had left was the one I wanted. But with three people working, none of them seemed to understand what was going on. One guy seemed to be wandering aimlessly, another was mixing up orders, and the third seemed to be annoyed with both of them. Sandwiches were literally piling up at the end of the make-line, and nobody could pay, because the guy wandering around was apparently the only person who could use the register. The entire experience reeked of total incompetence.

Subway is becoming my lovely lunch buddy lately… The location is convenient, especially for starved students and pitiful yuppies. The store layout is too small; the traffic zone(where people order) and dining area do not have adequate space for people to move around. Moreover, this particular store has a high turnover rate. I have been coming to this place for a long time and I seem to see new faces all the time. I kind of want a sandwich master that I know well and also familiar with what I usually. I guess that’s the downside of going to a chain restaurant.
