America’s Best Value Inn

This place makes me feel like I’m going to have to shower in bleach. Stains on the rug, dirty fridge, no working heat (apparently they don’t turn it on this time of year), I can see my own breath!

Stayed with my sister and autistic godson the first week of July. Although they let us check in early, when my godson got sick with the flu, and we needed clean linens. They gave us a hard time. We decided to check out early and they gave us a hard time then accused us of partying and getting drunk and sneaking people into our room. Go elsewhere. The gentleman was very nice. Only good thing about this place.

An «okay» stay. Based on their prices, I guess you can’t expect too much. The room had two queen beds, lounge chair, dresser, and work desk. The furniture is old and damaged, the bed had stains, and the bathroom was disgusting. (The TV, A/​C, microwave and large fridge were a plus though.) And the room is LOUD. Even with the A/​C on full blast and TV on, I could hear street noise and people running down the hall. Those walls were paper thin! If you’re looking for a place to stay in the area, check all other options first.

Stay away! They will take your money and leave you empty. Had to request a do not disturb sign. the cleaning crew who speak no English barge in rearrange your belongings and shut off your very small inadequate air condition leaving your room to feel like a sauna Only trash can is the very small bathroom trash. the bathroom is smaller then a hall closet and the tub took an hour to drain so you stand in your own dirt. Yuk! The laundry facilities are a joke at $ 1.75 for a tiny load just to wash and after you put $ 3.00 in the dryer, yup still damp. My son got the flu and had vomited, when I asked for fresh linen, I was given two sheets and told to put the smelly linen in a pile on the bathroom (closet) floor. As a result we checked out early. It took several threats of disputing the charge and 10 days later to have my account credited. While there aren’t many decent choices in the Lewiston/​Auburn area, this is certainly not the answer

I have a broken wrist and stayed here in a snowstorm. They cleaned my car off for me and would have shoveled it if needed. Everything was perfect. Reasonably priced with nice extras like the hot waffle breakfast. Exceptional value.

First the good news, the room was clean, the bad news, tv broken. Room was smelly, bathroom was a closet, street noise was load, Service non existent, stay away unless you have no other choice!
