Applebee’s

I went with my mother for asian chicken salads first thing Tuesday morning. We noticed that the knives had stains that would rub off with my fingers but we didn’t need knives for the salads. After I had eaten half of my salad, and it was delicious, I noticed that the edges of the bowl had splatter stains. The stains would wipe and smear like oils. They were easily viewed when holding the bowl so the sunlight reflected off the surface. I asked the server to talk to the manager about it. After she passed by our table a few more times I got her attention and asked what the manager had said. She sheepishly explained that the dishwasher doesn’t do a good job if the water hasn’t been changed often enough. At my house, I inspect my dishes before I put them into the cupboard to verify that they are clean, I don’t just go through the motions and hope for the best. I especially don’t load food onto a plate that has slimey stuff on it. The manager did not deem it important to come talk to me personally. I think a surprise sanitation inspection is good idea right about now. The servers response didn’t impress me with the idea that they would redouble their scrutiny on the dishwasher. So far I haven’t gotten sick but since I can’t get the episode out of my mind I had to vent my feelings here.

Where do I begin? As someone visiting from Hawaii, I was more than excited to try some of the delicious boneless buffalo wings that I see on so many commercials, but cannot enjoy as we do not have Applebees on Oahu. I can see why. I greated our bartendress Mandy with nothing but Aloha & respect. However, I was informed that after one round of Stellas & copious pupus that we were unable to order additional beverages — as they had just enacted a 3 drink «rule» and her manager had deemed that we were unable to order additional drinks. Sorry Applebees — but that left a terrible taste in my mouth. Keep your boneless wings — they weren’t that great anyways.

I’ve been in a couple locations but this one by far is the best. I came here with friends, my kids, or sometimes by myself, and every time they impressed me with great customer service, and their steak cooked exactly how I wanted it and same every time. They even wait for me to try see if I’m satisfy with it.

Even though we had a long ticket time because our server forgot to ring it in and we were transferred to a different server they were quick to apologize. Jeremy was a good waiter and checked on us regularly. My boys loved the churros dessert. Thank you applebees and keep up the good work.

WOW!!! I read all these good and bad reviews. I came in with my wife late night just before they were closing. Our server was Michael and he greeted us quickly and got our beverages out fast. He let us know that they were closing soon but not to rush. We ordered the 2 for 25. We got the boneless BBQ wings they were out in less than 10 mins and very hot. I got the upgraded steak to a 9oz med rare and it came out perfect. My wife got the bourbon chicken and shrimp she loved it. Micheal is excellent at his job and is super friendly. If you have ever had bad service here ask for Micheal. The guy only seemed to have one gear and that was movin…

I love the new menu.
I was lucky whenever I go here, I always have nice waitresses or waiters. The table next to us got some unwelcoming waitress so they were a little unhappy.
The service is awesome. The food is delish! I have no complains

I’ve been here twice and always gotten bad service. The first time, our waitress was very unfriendly, and seemed miserable. Not a great atmosphere for dining… This time… we came in this evening, while we were seated, three different wait-​staff walked by us for ten minutes and ignored us, never asked what we even wanted to drink, much less our order.
I had a school function to go to, so I left. Called and spoke with a manager, who apologized & offered a free meal tonight or tomorrow. That was appreciated, but I don’t want to go in and get bad service yet again. I recommend that if you’re hungry for Applebee’s… Go to Kent or anywhere else.

If I could give this location negative stars I would. Let’s start with the service, we sat down around 4:30 waited around for drinks finally Free 30 minutes we got to ask for the order another hour passed and I asked a different server for help. Our original sever finally comes up and we ask if we could please have the salads And appetizers our family asked for. I asked to be acknowledged and to get some service very nicely. A few moments later the general manager comes out and tells us that they are out of ribs thst they could give us baby back ribs instead. He ignored me and asked my mother in law if she spoke English… got in her face and asked how good is your English. I asked him well what is the difference? He said the price so I asked him again what is the difference is the sauce different or exactly what is different finally a light bulb turned on.
That had to be the most embarrassing thing for my mother in law to go through.
They offered us a discount $ 10.00 for the managers behavior. …wow really?
Another 30 minutes passed and we finally got our food.
Today was supposed to be special, we were celebrating my brother in law and his girlfriend partnership. thanks to this location it wasn’t a pleasure gathering. Never again! Stay away from this location.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered curbside to go tonight and said I would be there at 640 to pick up my order. I got there a little early and was told my food wasn’t ready which was fine. I had my baby with me and was told to wait in the lobby and my food would be brought to me. So I went out there and waited. At 645 my food still hadn’t come out and the nice host told me he would go see what was going on. He came back and said they couldn’t find my order so he grabbed the manager for me. Well when he came over he didn’t seem to care. He walked away without seeing what he could do. Such a horrible way to treat customers! I will not be returning and have told my friends and family not to eat here either!

We came here as a group of five with some friends. There were not a lot of people but it took 20 minutes to get us a table. Apparently, all the tables for more than 4 people were occupied. We waited, reasonably too.
The only thing was that the waitress took too long for us to get refills. We only saw her three times the entire time we were there.

Although I have been here a handful of times, I never took the time to review this place just because I wasn’t really disgusted nor was I ever blown away. It was just a quick spot to grab sub par food for a decent price.
This last visit however was rather outstanding. My dad and I came in and bee-​lined for the bar as it was pretty much wide open. We sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by «Awesome» Shari B. Food and drinks were taken quickly and we sat and chatted with one another. Shari is a breath of fresh air to this place. She’s quick witted, very attentive to her surroundings, quick at her job, and she is very personable and makes us feel welcome and at home.
I’ve dined at many many places before and rarely have I ever met anyone quite like Shari. I’ve dined with my dad well over 100 times and I’ve never seen him so happy with service. He was so happy with Shari that he even took a selfie with her, said he loved her, and said will you marry me to her. haha. It was a good time of literally, tears and laughter — both happy and sad.
Honestly, the food here will most likely never please me. The prices are friendly for my wallet. Both offset one another for me to never really have a reason to frequent this place unless I’m broke… however as long as they keep Shari behind that bar — she is all the reason needed to become a regular.

The food and service was good, but I was dismayed to find a fork, a crayon and a half of a breadstick on the floor across from our table. It was there when we got there and was still there after we finished eating an left! Every waiter, busboy and manager walked by it, actually having to step over the breadstick as they walked down the row of tables and almost next to the waiters’ station! It just says something about a place!

Waited for 15 minutes and no one showed up to greet me or help me out. Left very unhappy and unpleased. Don’t come to this location.

I have to admit, Applebee’s isn’t someplace I would normally choose to go. I find their food rather boring. But, something I really like is that they have healthy and low-​calorie options. This last time I was there, I got the Thai Chicken salad. It’s pretty small, but it’s also pretty low calorie and that’s pretty helpful when trying to watch your diet intake. Our service was pretty good and my dining partner was pretty happy with her salad, too.

Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Food took forever to come out. The waitress never gave us our silverware. So I had to go find someone to get our silverware so we could eat our food. Never coming here again.

I’ve ordered To-​Go here three times now. The first time the food was cold even though we picked it up right on time. The second time they forgot my kids’ drinks, forgot one of the sides, and two of the orders were wrong. When I called them about it the manager was really nice and told me he would email me a gift card. We verified the email, and no gift card ever came.
So yesterday, my wife really wanted to order Applebee’s and this one was the closest, so I gave it one more chance. I placed a to-​go order at 5pm to be reading at 6:20pm. I arrived at 6:10pm. They put the to-​go pick up in the bar and told me I can’t bring my three young kids with me. So I leave them in the waiting area, pay real quick and run back. They bring the food out at 6:45pm. Twenty-​five minutes after is was due to be ready. They were not even busy. Then one order was wrong, they forgot the fries. The lady says she would get them for me and then goes and seats two more tables before getting some fries. It was nearly 6:55 by the time I left. The manager hides in the bar area where I couldn’t go with my kids. I get home and the cheese sticks aren’t even cooked. Not to mention the food being cold from the wait. So I am done going to Applebee’s in Auburn.

I came in today with my boyfriend and my visit was more then pleasant. We both just got off of work and really wanted apple bees but we had stuff to do in auburn so ended up here. Suprised they only had 2 stars but that did scare me. Lol. Our server was Michael and myself being a server I really loved his service. Wish we lived closer by because our service here is better then back in Seattle. My fireball whiskey was lovely as usual. Appetizer came out very fast. Chicken was juicy and ribs were perfect !
A lot of the reviews on here are people complaining about simply human errors. A lot of just harsh Unilocalers. There not robots, people forget refills and its hard tending to picky peoples needs y’all.

Came here a few times and keep getting lucky with the best sever here. His name is Christopher and he is fast and very helpful. The boneless wings are very good. Will keep coming here for dinner!

Lunch service is as bad as their food
Brought wrong food, then tried telling us we were wrong. 15 minutes to order, then we got terrible shit!
Almost all our food was left when dumbass asked if we would like anything else.
Inedible disgusting stuff

How are you going to forget about your people in your section?
Just because you have a large party of 10 doesn’t mean that all your other tables do not need service…
I won’t be back to this location, EVER!
No flavor or love in the food. NO GOOD!
And to make things worse, there was hair in the food.
I am in the service industry, and this is by far the worst service that I have received… wth, APPLEBEES! get it together
