Denny’s

Patrick. Not so friendly. Man, was he put out that I told him I like A LOT of lemon with my ice water. Eye roll… I told him this was so that he didn’t have to make several trips… Eye roll. It’s just an F***ing lemon!!! If it makes you feel better, charge me for the goddamn thing!
The mitt that my hot skillet was brought to me with and left at my table was covered in crusty food from other people’s meals. Eeeeeewwww!

Disappointed today. Had some free time after a hectic, loud day at work. Took my book and my slight headache to late lunch (about 2:30pm or so) Parking lot was almost empty, so I thought I’d have a quiet meal.
WRONG! Waitress was busy. Talking and singing! Yep! Not cleaning tables or mopping up spilled water on floor. Singing loudly in the area where customers could see and hear. She has a very beautiful voice. But I didn’t want dinner theater, I just wanted a nice meal (which is why 3 stars instead of 1). Food was great!!!
Sigh! Why didn’t I complain to the manager on duty? She was out there during part of the 45 minutes I was there. She never said a thing. Well now I know, don’t go there for quiet meal on Wednesdays around 2:30pm. And that’s why for the 1^st time in 4 years I’ve been coming to this same restaurant, I didn’t leave a tip!

This Denny’s needs some work! The service subpar and the food was bland. So I don’t think I’ll be back to this location again.

My waitress Emma, was so polite & made me feel as though I was a guest in her home. It is great to see a service professional who absolutely loves taking care of her guest’s.

Walked out before she even came to our table. She must have been to busy with her other 3 tables. Horrible service. Do not go here the ratings reflect this place. She would rather walk past us several times before she even took our orders. I think she was mad because we ordered water and that would «reflect» in her tip.

Jazmen was our sever and she was great! She was super busy but still took good care of us. The cooks must have been new because the manager kept yelling at them. We ordered a quesadilla for an appetizer that was to have pico de gallo on it, but it was just a plain ol’ cheese quesadilla that oddly tasted like cinnamon. Maybe after the cooks get it down it would be a lot better. Also the fry quality was pathetic. You get about 10 fries, no joke.

Eating here at this location was a BIIIIIGGGG MISTAKE! Not only was the food disgusting, but the night manager Peter was disgusting. I called the same morning because the «GM”(Raymond) wasnt in until 8am. The morning manager «Dan» said he would have the «GM» give me a call and I’m still waiting!!! I have never had such terrible food and have to wait 45 minutes for it! On top of that, the portions were ridiculous and the presentation of the food was none less than dog food! Even the waitress Emma had agreed upon just how nasty the food was!

I had a really good experience here today! I ate brunch with my friend and the servers were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had cinnamon pancakes with a cup of fruit (fresh and delicious!) and hash browns with cheese. The restaurant was clean and our food was brought out quickly. Excellent location!

As someone that can’t eat gluten, Denny’s really isn’t the place to go, as there isn’t much to choose from. But it’s cheap, and close by so it fits the bill on those nights you want to be out of the house and don’t want to cook dinner. I usually get a skillet. They’re pretty small, but they’re cheap. The milkshakes aren’t anything special — you’re better off going to Herfy’s. The service has also never been that great. But again, it’s cheap and gets the job done. If you have a little more money to spend or are willing to drive a little farther, there are much better options for breakfast in auburn.

Do NOT eat here unless you enjoy food poisoning, eColi, and bad service/​management!

A few friends and I have come into the bar to watch the Seahawks game’s, and grab some drinks or apps. It’s usually happy hour, and the bar is typically pretty empty. This is super appealing to us since there are not very many bars close to home. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be back due to the temperature. We’ve come in three or four times and I swear it’s colder in that bar than outside. Are we in Antarctica or in a bar?

Well it’s Denny’s so you get what you expect. I do not like the fact that you can see into the bar from the regular dining area. Do I take my kids here now?

I hate Dennys. It is unclean every time I have went I always find something gross on my plate or drink. I had to wait a long time at my seat then they told me that they forgot about me. The food isn’t the best either

On a family outing from out of state and staying at a hotel nearby this particular Denny’s. We ate here on our first afternoon and our last night.
First time we were sat in the bar and were waited on by the bartender. He did relatively ok. Forgot one or two things, but they eventually got to us, we got refils, and our food was warm.
The second time was promising, but left sorely disappointed. Our waitress was friendly, was quick to bring our drinks, and the same with our food. And then she disappeared.
My boyfriend and I don’t require much, but we do like to get refills and that is why we went to Denny’s instead of a drive thru at 9 at night. My boyfriend even asked for more sweeteners for all the tea I will be drinking. I got a bunch of sweeteners, but had no more tea to add them to.
It seems, that their newly opened bar is very distracting to the employees, we had ringside seats by the door to the bar. The employees would open the door, let in the VERY loud music and dance with it open.
We ended up being the last people in her section, but had a hard time getting our bill. Even when we were paying with manager, she tried to leave and he had to call her out on leaving her section with dirty tables as she was trying to run into the bar.
The manager didn’t even ask how our meal was, I think he already knew.

Good service, buy horrible cooks. I received the most burnt onion rings I have ever seen. My eggs were over cooked. Completely a message on my meal.

If I can I would put 0 stars. (Andre the manager is a THIEVE) This place does not deserve good review! I went to go eat with my daughter and nephew along with my sister. Had a coupon in which kids eat free.
The manager Andre cashed out only taking away 1 kid meal which it was suppose to be all kidsincluding kids beverages. But he says he couldn’t do anything about it and I would still have to pay the amount! What type of manager are you? Obviously a thieve. He is a Thieve. I had to fight with him to get my money back but he wouldn’t give. I end up paying over 30 $ which my bill was only suppose to be 18 $. Oh on top of it he couldn’t do a split check??? Really what restaurant can’t do a split check!
Andrea is a poor manager who is a thieve and doesn’t care about your reasons. Don’t eat there! Oh btw. There was only 15 people I counted at Denny’s and the service was slow ass hell. Waitress forgetting your syrup and not refilling your water. Food was horrible or half assed made. For example the waffle I had was slightly burnt
Don’t waste your time here and eat somewhere else!!!

So we have been to this Denny’s before many times. We have had good service and bad service in the past but our most recent visit two nights ago will be the last. The appetizer took almost an hour to make, which was nachos (rather a can of chili poured onto some cheap tortilla chips) and mind your there was only about 10 people in the restaurant total. Then when our food was ready about five minutes after we got our appetizer, the hash browns were so greasy, the eggs were runny, it was just gross. The waitress took them back after checking in with us only to bring back greasy undercooked hash browns. Now I know it should not hold Denny’s up to high expectations but I will never go back again.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat breakfast not so anymore, great waitress, burned club sandwhich, terrible eggs, garbage food.
I used to love chicken fried steak with hash browns covered and smothered… now it sucks.
Now I’m going to find a new restaurant for my daddy daughter breakfasts

In general, I’m not a fan of Denny’s. I tend to avoid it, if I can. However, on this day, several friends were getting together and this is where they wanted to meet.
We had a great server by the name of Will. He was very nice and attentive, even though he was busy. We were pleased that they served cocktails in the dining room. (I didn’t know Denny’s did that!)
The food was okay, but it was a little slow getting to us.
Not too shabby.

Went here the other night because I was craving breakfast food at 12AM and didn’t want to drive to Federal Way for IHOP. As soon as we walked in there was a nasty stench that kind of smelled like cleaning products and a casino put together. I used to go to Denny’s as a little girl and it looks the EXACT same and not in a good, nostalgic way. If anyone from corporate is reading this I suggest you give your restaurants a major facelift or you’ll be closing down more and more restaurants in the near future. The smell and old look almost made me turn around!
However, our waitress was really friendly and definitely patient. My boyfriend ordered lemonade, changed his mind, got a strawberry shake, then ordered chocolate milk afterwards. We requested sauce and other little things and she was very nice about it all! The food wasn’t great but what do you expect. I was surprised when we got our bill because it was $ 38. If you guys haven’t been to Portage Bay Café please please do yourself a favor and try it out! It’s my favorite breakfast restaurant ever. But my point is that I can spend the same amount of money and get a five star meal compared to a two, almost one star meal and that blows my mind.
I will not be coming here again.
