Just pulled my child from this facility today after he had been attending 3 months or so. The reason is as follows. The infant teacher suddenly left with no explanation to the families but ‘she didn’t show up.‘ They replaced her with a new woman who had been left alone with the infants since day 1. She has no connection to the kids and doesn’t seem to care about much of anything besides maybe when her next meal break is. Today I picked up my son, who was screaming when I arrived, in the dark infant room where magically all 4 of the children decided to sleep at once. *sounds like a mandatory nap, which infants are to only be in their schedule, no mandatory naps. His daily report was not filled out with his nap times. We had told the AM teacher his new feeding amounts(4 cubes two times a day + 4oz bottle) which they disregarded and gave him two cubes and 7oz bottles during BOTH feedings. When I asked the new teacher her answer was ‘we were confused by the note.’ Uh, call me, sister! Geez. There was a time where two times my son hit his head and no incident report was written. They told me when I picked him up. The last time, I received a note that he hit his head. The director(Jenifer) is never on site. Left the new teacher alone with the kids when she clearly needs more training. I really had good things to say about this daycare up until the infant teacher Shannon quit. Find somewhere else that cares about your infant child. This place does not. They will tell you what you want to hear, not what actually transpired.
