This was the first cigar bar we’ve ever been to where you cannot smoke in the bar itself. They have an outdoor area for smoking.

There was a day at some point in my life… I can’t put my finger on what day it was, but the day came where the downtown scene just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. The lines, the shoving, the crappy drinks. In came Cigar Bar to save the day. Located in an unassuming strip «shopping center» at the edge of town, Cigar Bar has everything to offer. Patio seating. Live music. Drink specials. And the ultimate trifecta: food, booze, and cigars. A bona fide liquor store up front. Both a whiskey/beer themed and separate wine lounge in the back. It’s out of the way, yes, but that’s partially why I would recommend this bar, as Auburn increasingly becomes a place where those between 23 – 40 can actually live! Check it out.

I stopped here twice, once on my way to Destin from ATL and once on the way back. I was only interested in picking up a few cigars for the drive and wasn’t disappointed.
The humidor is small, but well kept and stocked with a decent variety of brands. With so many cigar shops either going extremely high end, or just carrying garbage, it’s good to see a place that’s working hard to find the gems in the middle of the cigar price range ($ 7 – 8 a stick). Anyone can pick a good $ 20 cigar, but finding great budget smokes takes effort.
The manager was super cool and took time to talk about his approach to stocking the humidor. He knew his stuff and made some great suggestions. If you’re in the area, or passing by I would suggest stopping in an checking it out.

Last night was the first time I have been to this bar and I am so happy my husband and I stopped by for a drink. The bartender was so nice and friendly, after he made my drink he would ask me to try it to make sure I liked it. This is a nice difference from the bars in downtown Auburn who could care less if your drink is right or tastes good. The atmosphere was great, outside patio had live music-Kevin Flannagan, who was fantastic! We did not have to wait long to order drinks, the bartenders were very attentive and helpful. We will defiantly go back.
