Went there about a month ago, and waited for 20 minutes for any sort of service. I noticed that tables who were seated after us were getting service. At that point, we just got up and left. I wasn’t able to try the food, obviously, so I can’t comment on it. The place is now closed permanently… no surprise.

Lots of variety on the menu, always been happy with my food, but four stars because their food doesn’t really stand out from other restaurants.

The place I grew up, FINALLY in Auburn. If you’re from Tampa(like me), Beef’s is the only sports restaurant you know. I’ve been going to the original Beef’s location literally since I was a week old. Met the original owner, yadda, yadda, yadda, you get it. As soon as I saw the«coming soon» sign, I marked the opening and made sure to show up. The results were overall good. Beef’s became popular originally because it was just a cheap place to get good chicken wings and beer without the Hooters-type atmosphere — that is, more family oriented. I’ve been dozens of times since the original opening, so I’ve gotten a good overall sample. This location does a good overall job of capturing what made Beef’s successful, great wings, and beer. This one went a little further and added a good selection of beer on tap. It seems like this one is more expensive than usual, but it’s in the nicest area of Auburn so it makes sense. I’ve never had anything from here besides chicken wings and fries, but I’ve heard the burgers are good. We started getting the sampler appetizer recently and that’s really good. It’s a true sampler and comes with something for everyone, after that just get a bunch of wings, some french fries, and go home happy. This location is very clean, and I’ve talked with the owner(s) a few times, he/they seem very nice. I will agree with previous comments that the service can be hit or miss, but I love this place so I don’t let it get in the way. If you haven’t been here, give it a try. If you order something off the Tex-Mex side and don’t like it, that’s on you for ordering that at a wing joint.

Be careful what you order. Their food tends to be over-salted to the point of inedible. If it is breaded, it is over-breaded and therefore too greasy for my taste. I will say they have a nice beer selection on tap and an nice covered patio area if you choose to eat outside. I will likely return but look for something on the menu that is not fried and hope they are much lighter on the salt. If I get a grilled entrée next time and it is over-salted, it will be my last visit.

My husband and I have been here about four times now and with each visit it just gets worse and worse. This time is was both the service and the food. We arrived about 6:30 and ordered a beer. The server was confused as to which beers were on special and therefore confused us. We received our beers and drank more than half when she came by and quickly gathered up our menu’s without warning and swooped back inside before we could tell her that we did actually want to place a food order. She finally came back out so we grabbed the opportunity to give her our order. I ordered the combo fajitas and my husband the steak tacos. My husband likes salt, but this was ridiculous. We thought maybe the cook dropped the salt shaker on his food until I tasted my own food and it was way too salty also. In addition, the green pepper and onion was overcooked and the whole skillet was drenched in oil. In the meantime, the server finally brought some water, since my beer was long gone. From now on we will stick with beer only as they do have a good variety. We also enjoy sitting outside on the patio.

I really do want to like this place, but it’s really inconsistent. There have been good nights and bad nights. The food is decently priced and they have a good beer selection. The problem is in the service. It can severely lack. Once again, we’ve had it both ways. On the most recent visit we were sat immediately and never saw our server. After 15 minutes of sitting there, we got up and walked out. Ended up at Johnny Bruscos across the street, which was awesome by the way. We might be back, but there are a lot of other sports bars in town.

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is friendly. Summer who runs the bar is amazing. So friendly and welcoming. The food is great. The beer selection is outstanding. It’s a great place to go for a bite and a beer. Awesome customer service and atmosphere! I’ve been here several times and will continue to be a customer.

Average bar with a decent shrimp caesar salad, good service, and a similar setup to Applebee’s and Chili’s. They were having a trivia night that was a little too loud and questions too difficult for me to answer anything. Despite this, I was satisfied. All the TVs were positioned in that no matter wherever you sit, you can watch the games going on without feeling like you have to strain your head.
